Accommodation for undemanding guests in a quiet neighborhood. Good conditions at an affordable price. The owner was very kind and helpful. He helped arrange the necessary transportation. Hot water💪 I recommend it.

Un Meilleur aménagement du salon et peut être également du balcon serait un réel plus. Cela correspondrait plus aux photos.

The value for money was good and definitely fair for what was offered. The room was comfortable, and the view from the window was amazing. The owner was very kind and welcoming.

The internet connection was quite weak, and the place is a bit far from the center. Breakfast was simple – just an egg and toast with jam.

Perfect accommodation for staying for 1-3 nights. It’s a little bit far from the city center, but it’s quiet.

Wifi is very slow. The common area could be more furnished and cozy - there is a couch but there was only one table for breakfast, so in case you came when the table is already full, you need to wait for them to finish first. I stayed longer in a separate room since I was partially working online, and would not recommend the place for nomads since wifi is awful and there is no table except for the breakfast table.

The accommodation was really great. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I had a very pleasant stay and felt at ease the whole time. The person in charge of the place is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They made sure everything went smoothly and were always available if needed. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would definitely recommend this place.

This Hostel was way more than I could imagine! The host is one of the friendliest and happiest persons I've met in Sri Lanka, always being attentive and happy to help us with everything. We booked a dance show in the city with him (which was very much worth it!) And enjoyed the gorgeous view from our balcony. The rooms are extremely large and the bed is also comfortable. The hot water shower was also a big plus! The location is just 10 minutes walking from the Kandy Viewpoint, so you can easily watch the sunset every evening.

At one point I found snails and a slug in the bathroom, but they didn't bother me a lot.

Le responsable était super souriant, tres reactif via whatsapp et chaleureux! On a reçu de super conseil pour notre sejour et pour les transports que nous devions prendre a notre depart! La vue du balcon est vraiment sympa, notre chambre était tres spacieuse.

Sehr spooky location. Zutritt zum Balkon durch ein Fenster. Die Haustüre wurde um 22 Uhr abgeschlossen, Zugang zum Zimmer dann nur durch ein Fenster, sehr abgelegen vom Zentrum, die Austattung ist in die Jahre gekommen, deswegen der Preis zu hoch

Chinta was so lovely and friendly. He walked with us to the cultural center to see the dances. The room was spacious and great value for money

It smelled a little mouldy at first but as soon as we opened the windows it was great and we liked the view

Très bonne situation sur les hauteurs de Kandy, le centre ville est accessible à pied. Le gérant de l'hôtel a éte vraiment adorable et nous a beaucoup aidé pour toutes les activités. Nous avons eu une très grande chambre, confortable, avec un balcon ce qui était bien agréable. Je recommande sans réserve.

Das Sunbloom Hostel verfügt über eine super Lage, da die Stadt und der See innerhalb von 15-20 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen sind. Zudem lädt der Balkon mit wunderschöner Aussicht zum verweilen ein. Super war außerdem der Gastgeber, dieser sei zwar nur vorübergehend als Vertretung dort Host, hat unseren Aufenthalt aber durch seine freundliche und humorvolle Art definitiv bereichert.

Grundsätzlich kein richtiger Kritikpunkt für diesen Preis. Im Bad befinden sich hier und dort ein paar Ameisenstraßen als Info für diejenigen die das nicht möchten.

Solo vimos al dueño a la hora de pagar antes de irnos, solo 1 baño para todo, algo sucio todo en general. No había ni para comprar agua ni tomarse un café o té. Tienes que coger tuk tuk si o si para ir y volver porque está arriba de la colina y sin mucha luz.

Amazing place to stay when in Kandy. Away from the crowd, nice nature and chill vibes. The owner is super kind and helpful. Great place to do laundry.

We stayed here for a night and the rooms was comfy and the host was sweet enough it's like 2 kms away from the main centre if you like walking it will be very convenient for you

Nothing to say anything

Great location even if it is a bit further away from the center, it is in a very calm spot. Also you have a nice viewpoint close by. It was comfy and cheap, perfect for us student travelers. Also the owner was very friendly and helpful.

The owner/manager was SO helpful, he met us in town and walked us to the cultural dance to buy tickets, and even got us reserved seats. He was very helpful and kind. The room is a bit old but is incredibly spacious so for our group of 6 it was perfect for one night as we made our way to Ella.

My room was very large ( 2 beds) ; very clean and bed was very comfortable.

Instantly fell in love with this accommodation. Great location, peaceful away from the busyness but also close enough walking distance. Excellent host, really helpful and friendly, very kind and upgraded our room as we had booking for a long time. Thank you so much. Safe Private parking for our tuk tuk. View from the room is stunning. Smells great very nice and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer 🙏🏼 more than value for money I think you should be charging more🫶🏼

Chandike ist a very nice host and I enjoyed the stay. Big room with balcony bathroom was clean, abt. 20 min walking time to Kandy Lake. With Chandike's uncle - Michael Tours a made a very interesting and amazing TukTuk nature tour - walking to waterfall, posibility to take a refreshing bath, a cave temple amd delicious food on the way.

Simple budget accomodation for reasonable price still under renovation, but fine

Very friendly and helpful staff, great views, good location - either 200-400 lkr tuk tuk or 20min walk to city center. Good ventilation in the rooms and common space!!

No mosquito nets in ventilation, windows or over the bed. Not many mosquitoes in the area, but still few in the room.

A very simple but clean accommodation. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had wet clothes after a long rainy day on motorbikes and could do a laundry and had a nice hot shower.

The accommodation is very outdated, and the rooms could use a bit more care and attention.

Exceeded my expectations! Chandike was the best host, making sure I had everything I needed and adapting to all of my requests. He went out of his way to make sure I had the best stay. The room was clean and spacious and cozy and so quiet! I stayed in room 103 and loved it. The view over Kandy was incredible. It was so well located, walking distance from everything (15-20min) but also after a long day of exploring Kandy by foor, you can opt for a cheap tuk tuk ride back, as it is uphill. Nothing too dramatic if you're an active person like me. I felt very safe as a female solo traveler and the host was super flexible, adaptable and overall just a lovely person who wants to make his clients happy. I highly recommend and would have stayed longer if it weren't for meeting my friend in Ella. Thanks Chandike!!

Leaking tap and low water pressure in the shower lead to flooding in the bathroom. No AC just one fan in the middle of the room. WiFi didn’t work. Okay for one night.

Really quiet location, had a great sleep in with no noise around us. Owner Chandi was very friendly and give us good tips for travel in Sri Lanka. He arranged the car our next destination. Highly recommend this place.
