In dieser Jurte zu schlafen war ein super Abschluss unseres Irland Urlaubs und wir haben keine Minute bereut. Es gibt einen Backofen in dem man sich so Einiges warm machen kann und einen schönen Außenbereich - wir haben uns am Abend sogar ein Feuer gemacht, mit Holz was dort extra bereit lag. Zur Begrüßung gab es Kekse und Milch, allerdings hatten wir keinen Kontakt zu den Gastgebern. Alles in Allem tolles Erlebnis- auch unter der Glaskuppel aufzuwachen hatte etwas.

What a surprise this was more like a studio apartment than a yurt. It was so warm. Comfortable and well constructed. Deceptively spacious, fully equipped kitchen, TV with Netflix and dvd player. Bathroom was perfect. The gas bbq was perfect, and the outdoor dining area was nicely private. Loved this stay, even on a windy September night. Can't recommend enough it's gorgeous.

Everything is great, but a mini indoor stove top would be a great addition for rainy nights making bbq difficult. However there is an air fryer!

The cosiness of the Yurt made it a wonderful experience, nice lighting inside and warm. Location also allowed to visit a lot of adjacent sites with the rental car.

It is a great place to stay. Loved that they supplied tea and coffee. Plenty of towels and a great walk in shower.

The heat could have been left on low last nights ght as it was cold when we arrived. The blank particle board needa to be addressed.

The Snowdrop is a well-equipped, quirky place to stay. Quiet, peaceful location with really comfortable beds!

There was nothing we disliked.

Unusual dwelling; it was a fun experience for our young family. The kids appreciated the books and games.

The yurt was a bit hot when we got there but we were able to cool it off quickly.

Beautiful quiet location

Slight musty smell to the yurt, overall, but such a great place! Hosts were very responsive and the space was very thoughtfully organized and prepared for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Loughrea is such a cute town, as well! Loved the Slow Roast cafe!

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Gut ausgestattet und eingerichtet - Sauber - Stabiles WLAN - Sehr geräumig - Ruhige Umgebung - Tolle Auswahl an Spielen. Das Wetter war während unseres Aufenthaltes ungewöhnlich nass-kalt. Mit den vorhandenen Heizkörpern wird die Jurte sehr schnell gemütlich warm. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein besonderes Erlebnis, auch für unsere Kinder

De yurt met terrasje. Wij hadden mooi weer, maar voor slecht weer kon je kiezen uit vele spelletjes, dvd's en boeken. De yurt zag er leuk uit!

Er viel niets tegen. Maar er was niet goed schoongemaakt. wat we merkten aan de vieze blote voeten die we kregen en een aanrecht vuilnisbakje wat nog vol zat. Het zou handig zijn als er een klein (steel)pannetje zou zijn om 's morgens een eitje te kunnen koken.

Wonderful place and very relaxing.

Clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and lots of hot water for the shower. Linda was quick to respond and very helpful. All appliances worked well and the location was central to other places to visit by car. Quiet country location in a rural area and close to the small town with grocery stores in Loughrea, and not far to the expressways. We enjoyed our stay in the yurt. Nice glamping with loads of parking..

No microwave or stove, but we're fine with using the BBQ which had a stove top.

We didn't meet Linda but with the attention to detail in our accommodation, we're sure she was lovely. We were very comfortable and warm. The biscuits, milk etc were v acceptable on our arrival. We loved having company for breakfast: (we named him Bertie) the blue tit! We liked listenig to the birds last thing in evening and our own Dawn chorus!

We didn't like that we couldn't stay longer.

Struttura accogliente, spaziosissima e con tutti i comfort. A disposizione davvero di tutto, dalla tv con una serie di dvd infinita, ai giochi da tavola nella zona soggiorno.., zona giorno con tavolo e frigo, fornetto, e cucina con tutto quanto necessario, piatti, bicchieri ecc. bagno spazioso e doccia enorme, asciugamani e un sacco di prodotti tra shampoo, bagnoschima, saponi ecc... Ampia zona esterna ma noi non l abbiamo usata. Piacevole trovare del latte in frigo x la colazione e un pacco di biscotti!

La tenda ha un punto luce centrale in alto, peccato solo non ci sia qualcosa x oscurarlo la mattina in qualche modo perchè cosi entra la luce all alba illuminado la stanza

Una fantastica scoperta nel cuore dell'Irlanda! La Iurta era dotata di tutti i confort, poi di notte dormire con il rumore della pioggia é veramente emozionante! I nostri bambini non volevano andare più via!!! C'erano giochi da tavola, libri e divertimento!! La proprietaria molto gentile e cordiale, ci ha accolti e dato utili consigli sul soggiorno. Nonostante fosse in campagna, la tenda dista solo 5 minuti dalla città più vicina, dove trovare supermercati, ristoranti e un parco giochi vicino al lago fantastico!

L'endroit et la yourte en elle même sont superbes. Le contact avec les propriétaires était très rapide.

This is the cutest place I’ve stayed. So worth the money. A bit of a drive from Galway city but it was worth it. We feared that the yurt would be cold but it has great heating. Lovely accommodating owner. Lots to do provided inside the yurt: a stack of dvds, board games and books. We will definitely be staying here again sometime in the future

Endroit atypique, très charmant. Nous avons été étonné par la taille de l'herbergement, c'est spacieux et bien amménagé. Endroit très propre. Hote avec de petites attentions très gentillles ( biscuits & café soluble & lait à dispo malgré le petit déjeuner non inclus)

Ca n'est pas vraiment une critique, mais le hublot au plafond laisse passer la lumière le matin ce qui nous a reveillé assez tôt

Although we expected a rather unusual accommodation with this Yurt, we were quite amazed when arriving. It sports the amenities of a well suited "normal" flat, but the experience being in a proper tent was impressing. We were lucky enough staying over during a stormy-rainy night! Wow!

I loved everything about this place! Over my 9 days in ireland, this was my favorite place that I stayed at. Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and the best shower set up I've ever had.

We loved the quiet secluded spot with lots of greenery. Brilliant set up, exceeded our expectations and will return. Host was very friendly and helpful - giving us suggestions of places to visit and good eating spots.

Second time staying at The Snowdrop and I couldn't recommend enough. Spotlessly clean, very comfy bed, great facilities and an all round gorgeous place to stay!

Sehr süße Jurte, gut ausgestattet und die Besitzer sind sehr Hilfsbereit ! Es kann Nachts etwas lauter sein da man direkt an einer (zum Glück nicht viel befahrener) Straße ist, aber wir konnten trotzdem alle gut schlafen und würden wieder kommen !:)

Very special place, loved the tent

A bit cold and clammy in September. Good that there were electric heaters. A camping stove and a pot in the kitchen would have been great to make some pasta.

Stayed with my teenage son as we were attending a local sports event. Yurt was lovely and cosy with all the creature comforts of home. Beds were nice and comfy and the shower perfect. Spotlessly clean with great outdoor area to relax. We had a small mishap but our hosts couldn't have been more understanding and kind in dealing with the matter. Hope to return again to the Snowdrop sometime.

Le lieu est particulièrement agréable et insolite (yourte, terrasse extérieure...). La yourte est très bien équipée, on s'y sent très bien. Proximité avec Galway et le parc national du Connemara, à condition d'avoir une voiture.

Un four à micro-ondes pourrait être un plus pour la préparation des repas L'un des canapés n'est pas confortable.

L'aspect chaleureux. Nous remercions infiniment notre hôte. Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de nous rencontrer mais notre bref séjour dans leur yourte fut très agréable.

Accommodation had everything we needed. It was rustic and very relaxing. Booked the Accommodation to be near Lignum restaurant. Enjoyed everything about our stay.

Super expérience dans cette yourte qui est très bien aménagée avec tout le confort et l'equipement possible! Il y avaient plein de jeux à disposition les enfants ont adoré, nous avons passé une super chouette soirée en famille. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Einzigartige Unterkunft - wie Camping nur mit allen Annehmlichkeiten eines Hotels. Es gab sogar eine kleiner Küche, die wir für das Frühstück benutzt haben, weil am Sonntag kaum Frühstücksrestaurants in der Gegend offen waren. Die Gastgeber waren über den Booking.com Chat erreichbar und haben jeweils sehr schnell geantwortet. Wir haben sogar Kekse und Milch bekommen.

Es riecht ein bisschen nach Zelt und die Bedienung (und Erläuterung) der Heizung ist nicht ganz einfach. Wir haben es erst am Morgen geschafft, wirklich warmes Wasser zu bekommen (haben aber auch nicht nochmal nachgefragt).

This place is a little hidden gem, had a fantastic stay with my family at the snowdrop it’s like a home from home and the owners have thought of everything you need for your visit. Wish we were staying longer! We will definitely be back!

We stayed one night in the yurt and absolutely loved it! The place is cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were friendly and everything was well organized. Highly recommend!

Alojamiento muy completo, anfitriones muy amables, nos dejaron galletas y leche de cortesía. Parking en la puerta. Había menaje completo, jabones, toallas…café, té, azúcar, horno…la verdad que Chris y Linda ofrecen una opción muy completa.

El colchón necesitaría un cambio, ya que te desplaza al centro. Tiene una claraboya que da luz natural a toda la tienda, pero cuando amanece cuesta un poco dormir porque no tiene cortina.

Hidden Gem. So comfortable and spacious. If your over-scrolling debating whether or not to book this do yourself a favour and do it! It’s incredible and you’ll will be so happy you did.

How different it was from the usual B&B.

It was a bit difficult to reach.

Es un espacio muy interesante, espacio abierto con las habitaciones, zona de estar y comedor integrados. Tiene un baño amplio y bien servido. Un espacio cocina básico con horno, frigorífico y utensilios (no hay fogones ni vitrocerámica o inducción). Fregadero de pequeñas dimensiones. El espacio es atractivo y agradable. Parking en la puerta en la misma parcela.

Las camas no son confortables, una grande es una cama antigua donde no se ha actualizado el somier, parece un barco en movimiento, otra cama es tipo Futón con un colchón regular y el sofá cama tipo librero no funciona bien abierto, molesta el centro, es el típico mueble que no es cómodo ni parada sofá ni para cama. Otro inconveniente es una claraboya por donde pasa la luz al igual que la puerta de entrada donde una cortina enrollable también deja pasar la luz. En las fechas en que fuimos había solo 4 o 5 horas de oscuridad por lo que no pudimos dormir bien.

C’est la première fois que nous dormions une nuit dans une yourte ! Ce fut une expérience hyper sympa, et vous vous devez de vivre cela au moins une fois dans votre vie. Nous y séjournions au moment de mon anniversaire et les propriétaires ont une merveilleuse attention à mon égard: Une bouteille de rosé et des petits gâteaux. Merci encore pour ce chaleureux geste ! Un petit chien, tout mignon est venu nous rendre visite le soir… Nous sommes demandé s’il était prévu avec la location de la yourte🤣

Une petite idée pour améliorer la cuisine : il pourrait être intéressant d’avoir une plaque de cuisson pour cuisiner le soir, cela nous a manqué pour cuisiner notre dîner.

It was awesome!, cozy, clean and so fun. The rain pattering on the outside made the experience that much better. It was one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip to Ireland and I wish we could have stayed longer.

It was so fun staying in the yurt. Really spacious inside and with a lovely deck around it with furniture for relaxing in the sun or shade. Enjoyed the story the host left on how they came to build this special place for others to stay in. We were amazed at how much room there is inside and how well it was set up for comfort. It was well equipped for cooking a meal or just relaxing in the living room playing a game or watching TV. It is really a great place to stay.

Excellent location, 4 mins from Loughrea, plenty of space and lovely hosts. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for a family of 4.

Perhaps some wifi and I'm not sure if it's possible or not but some way of blocking the light from the dome at the top of the yurt - hard to sleep when it's bright so early in the morning. That's also part of the charm of it too.
