Keys in a lockbox so could get in whenever! The stay was just far enough from Lauderbrunnen which was packed and touristy but 3 min drive to get there and our location was quiet and full of locals so a more authentic and peaceful experience!

Great location and clean space! We really enjoyed our stay - it is conveniently located between the Schilthorn cable car and the Lauterbrunnen village. The view from the Chalet is gorgeous and the place itself is clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for tourism in the area!

The location is superb inside the valley, all needed supplies were available.

Spiders in the room and bathroom, there is no living room but there are coaches in the bedrooms, house keeping provided the needed toilet tissues inside the apartment while we weren’t there, very expensive for the space but maybe this is all around Switzerland.

Nothing. Although, the property is far from restaurants/supermarkets so make sure to grab your meals/snacks beforehand unless you don't mind commuting back to lauterbrunnen/murren for the same.

Noise , the frige was very old one and works very loudy. I touhgh that there is a loundr next to appartment and we heard washing machine noise .

The accommodation is located in a very beautiful area with an amazing view. It is close to the waterfalls and the village, and it has parking. There is also a bus stop directly opposite the property. The room was comfortable and had the necessary amenities. The host was a little slow to respond to messages, but overall, communication was fine.

However, the property definitely needs a good renovation. In our room, many things were quite old and there were several differences compared to the photos. Some areas were also not as clean as they should have been. The light at the entrance of the room was not working, the microwave was not functioning properly, and the shower towels were worn out, with one of them even having a hole. The bed was a small double, and the mattress had a large dip on one side, which affected our sleeping comfort. Overall, there were several small issues that, taken together, made our stay less pleasant than it could have been.

It's a good place to stay if you travel solo or as a couple. It has the basic things but don't expect anything luxury. The bus stop is right across the street and you are about 10 minutes away from the Lauterbrunnen train station and that is where you'll have some places to eat or drink.

It would have been nice if the kitchen had a coffee machine and some clean kitchen towels. the lighting could have been bright.

The shower drain was blocked the first day, but host was responsive and had it fixed the following day. The room is up 3 flights of stairs so be aware if that is an issue.

Vi kom inte in då värden inte skickade koden till nyckelskåpet! Värden svarade inte på telefonen eller på vårt meddelande som vi skickade genom bokningsappen. Vi fick själva ringa Booking i London som fixade det! Detta till en kostnad av 153 kr!!

The property is very outdated and has not been updated in many years. Every night, people below the apartment were extremely loud until around 1:00 a.m., making it very difficult to sleep. There seemed to be no enforcement of quiet hours or house rules. We also couldn’t find the trash bins, which was frustrating. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was missing its handle, so we couldn’t even open it. Parking was another challenge because cars were parked so far from the walls that it was very difficult to get in and out of our parking space. Overall, the apartment did not match our expectations. Between the constant late-night noise, lack of maintenance, difficult parking, and outdated condition, we would not choose to stay here again.

The unit is a true apartment, ideal for families. 2 large, real bedrooms, kitchen, and very nice bathroom. Location is steps from the bus stop, which is often easier than going to the town or cable car and paying for parking.

Kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans, but the counters are not well lit. The refridgerator was turned off by the cleaning team, but was still very cold from a previous occupant, so we did not know. Later, all our food was warm. Make sure you check if the refrigerator is on.

The kitchen was very dated and had a dust build up on surfaces. The walls are thin so we didnt get too much sleep due to noisy people in other apartments (which isnt apartments fault!).

Overall a pleasant stay here. We had the Grosshorn room which included a living area with a couch, and a separate bathroom and bedroom. We had two single people so one person was able to take the couch which worked ok. The apartments are right next to a bus stop just outside of the Lauterbrunnen town area, so fairly easy to get to. Note the apartment building is a standalone and right on the road so there is periodic sounds of cars driving by, but nothing to egregious. I would say check in was easy, the room was sufficient for our needs, it was quite convenient, and its just very pretty in the Lauterbrunnen valley. Shower had soap and towels provided.

The bed itself got the job done, wasn't the lap of luxury by any means and had some imperfections either in the mattress itself or maybe the supports underneath, but I was able to push a depression into the mattress which stayed. Kind of weird. There were also no fans in the apartment so ventilation and air circulation was a challenge if you didn't want to open a window. We also had a plumbing leak in the kitchen drain which we reported but the host was not able to address during our stay. Not a huge deal but just would be nice to have everything working. Also could have used an extra set of linens but there were none.

Great location, waterfalls within reach of short walk. Close to post bus stop. Really nice accomodation. If I knew in advance, how impressive the library in my apartment was, I would book few days more. :)

De kamer was stoffig. Geen horren aanwezig bij de ramen waardoor we continue last hadden van vliegen. Daarnaast liep de douche niet goed door. Accommodatie niet te bereiken via de telefoon.

السرير فيه عيب واضح في المرتبة تنام فقط على نص السرير أتمنى من المسؤول تجربة النوم لمدة دقيقة فقط حتى يكتشف الخلل الموجود في المرتبة

There wasn’t laundry, the shower had a very very slow drain and the host wasn’t the quickest with responding.

The location away from city yet close to the bus stop. It is also few stops from cable car to murren. There are lot of water falls to explore to and nice trails around. The kitchen has all the essentials needed for the cooking. Nearest grocery store was 15mins away by bus. Very peaceful location. Value for money.

Problème de communication avec l’hôte. Le logement est prévu à 16h mais n’est disponible qu’à 18h. Nous avons souhaité reculer le check out, aucun retour sur la communication alors que nous n’avons eu aucun problème avec les autres hôtes sur le reste du séjour. Dommage pour le dialogue qui donne un rendu du logement moins chouette.

Beautiful Location. Room was clean and well kept with a beautiful view from the windows. Amenities were in good condition.

The check-in information was not very clear and got it later than my check-in time. I was unable to get in touch with the property owner for a long time. Best to get the key box details earlier before going to the location.

Excellent location. Very close to the cable car station and right in the middle of the valley and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Very peaceful except for the occasional vehicles passing by the road. Could see the valley with waterfalls and mountains and all its glory . Had a very relaxing time. Highly convenient as we were right in the middle of the valley and right next to sandbach bus stop could take 5/10min bus ride to the lauterbrunn main town and the stechelberg cable car station which connects you to gimmiwald and murren. Just a bus stop / very short walk away from trummelbach falls. Can take scenic walks around the valley when the big crowds have already left and explore the valley very peacefully. ❤️ We stayed in the top floor apartment. Apartment was spacious and had a coffee maker and a dish clothe😄( I read in previous reviews before I go that these were not there but the management has clearly listened and added these) which is really positive. There was a kettle , hob , microwave, dishes , plates &, mugs etc but no spoons ,knives forks etc. The bathroom has a hot shower, hair dryer towels and basics. Bed room was spacious , wide windows that open up and shows you the valley view and brings in the fresh mountain air ❤️Bed was comfortable and spacious had a good night sleep. Read in previous reviews that it's not clean enough but we found it to be clean and comfortable. We only stayed for one night but would surely come back for a longer stay.

No cutlery. I messaged the staff before our stay confirm and they said cutlery was available in the kitchen. 😅 Luckily we bought some cutlery with us.

Notre expérience dans ce logement a été une grande déception. Le confort n'y est pas du tout au rendez-vous : le lit est trop petit et la propreté est négligée (le dessous du lit était particulièrement sale). De plus, l'environnement est extrêmement bruyant, entre le passage sur la route et le bruit des voisins du dessus passé 22h30. La situation était telle que nous avons préféré fuir et réserver en urgence un autre établissement à Wengen (l'hôtel Silberhorn, que nous recommandons). Pour couronner le tout, la communication avec les propriétaires est catastrophique. Suite à un oubli de nos thermos sur place, ils ont mis plus de 10 heures à nous répondre la première fois, pour ensuite nous ignorer totalement malgré notre proposition de prendre en charge les frais d'envoi postal. Un hébergement et des hôtes que je déconseille fortement.

We loved the 'personality' of the chalet and the location. Most of the issues reported by users in the past appeared to be solved, so thumbs up to the owners for being receptive and taking action.

There is still some work to be done, though: - bed sheets were not very clean. - there was an issue with the hot water in the evening when we arrived, but it got solved the next morning. - a coffee machine would be good to have. - owner(s) could respond a bit quicker to the guest's inquiries or issues.

Die Lage der Wohnung war toll. Der Ausblick auf die Berge sehr schön. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Sehr nah zu den Trümmelbachfällen.

Die Küche müsste mal entrümpelt werden, einige Küchenutensilien sind nicht mehr so ansehnlich oder unvollständig. Uns fehlte eine Salatschüssel, die bei 4 Personen hilfreich gewesen wäre. Beim Backhofen hätte uns eine Gebrauchsanweisung geholfen. Duschen war leider nur mit kaltem Wasser möglich.

Location is great, and near a bus stop. The room is pretty big with necessary culinaries.

We have to rush back the next morning to change our room for the second night, which we didn't know before. The cleaning was nice and quick, but the cleaning lady entered our room without permission... The price is high, but I guess that's true for most accommodation in Switzerland.

Die Matratze im Bett war auf einer Seite extrem stark durchgelegen. Diese war quasi kaputt, so dass man da auch nicht schlafen konnte.

It wasn't too clean it was still dirt on the carpet as it wasn't hoovered,the plates and the frying pan was a bit filthy , the internet was poor
