親切な家族がもてなしてくれました。みなさんとても優しく移動のためのバスを調べてくれたりととても親切でした。お部屋もとっても綺麗でご飯も美味しかったです。

良くなかったわけではないですが、朝ごはん、昼ごはん、夜ご飯について（料金など）をあらかじめ記載していただけるととても助かります。バックパッカーはお金を節約してる方が多いと思うので…

I highly recommend the safari, the rooms and all the services. The reason is that we found everything very nice and tidy and I highly recommend this accommodation to our fellow tourists.

Bait and switch on the room. After reserving the room, the host reached out on WhatsApp trying to sell me taxi and safari services. I declined as I had my own transportation and was sharing a safari with some other tourists I met earlier in the trip. After it became apparent I wasn't interested in their other services, the hotel told me I had to cancel my booking because they had an emergency. I advised them my booking was non refundable so if they had an issue they had to cancel. They refused and they kept pressuring me to cancel. I declined. I was the only guest booked for that day and when I showed up, the hotel gate was locked. Booking.com sorted me out with alternate accommodation. If you don't mind overpaying for a safari through your hotel, it's probably fine to stay here, but if you don't intend to do your safari through them, they will leave you stranded without accommodation way outside the city.

Der Aufenthalt in der Junge Lodge war super schön. Die Familie ist unglaublich herzlich und bemüht. Ich bin abends angekommen und hab ein super leckeres Abendessen serviert bekommen. Am nächsten Morgen hat der Host die Safari für mich alleine gemacht & ein tolles Frühstück vorbereitet 🐘 das Zimmer ist auch super sauber, groß und mit modernem Badezimmer. Ich kann den Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen 😊 vielen Dank an Methum, seinen Vater und die ganze Familie 😊

The lodge owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. They gave us a delightful tour of their fruit orchard after treating us to a fresh mango smoothie. We had dinner with them, and the food was not only delicious but generously portioned. Their 15-year-old son expertly arranged all our transfers and organized our safari to Udawalawe National Park—the picnic breakfast basket they prepared exceeded all expectations! Our room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. We highly recommend this wonderful place.

I am happy with the choice of Udawalawe Jungle Lodge as my accommodation. This accommodation is located in front of the Udawalawe National Park. Not only that, the view is very beautiful, but elephants also come to this accommodation frequently. We saw elephants twice a day. This place has a very peaceful environment. There are many fruit trees in the garden and we got to taste them. We also got a very clean room. We got all the necessary facilities. Also, the staff was very friendly. They talked to us well. They provided us with a lot of delicious food for our meals. If you are going to Udawalawe, the jungle lodge is the best place to stay. I recommend it 100%. Best hotel in udawalawe

La habitación tiene todo lo necesario, nos trataron muy bien desde el primer momento, estando pendiente si nos hacia falta algo. Pasamos una noche para hacer un Safari el siguiente día, nos despertamos pronto e incluso nos hicieron el desayuno! También organizan Safaris, nosotros ya lo teníamos reservado, pero es una gran opción.

Amazing place, location, room and host. The room was very clean and we’ve got everything we needed. The hosts made very good meals for us. Also we did safari with the hotel. This was just perfect we have seen so many animals! Also at night we saw Elephants so close to the hotel.

The hosts were so lovely and couldn't do more to help. Our room was big clean and comfortable. They cooked us generous and delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Served us fruit fresh from their garden which they were kind enough to show us around. They organised us transport to our next accomodation and also organised for us to go the elephant transit orphanage and a fantastic safari package at a great rate (also packing us a big breakfast to take). The location is quiet and close to the park entrance. Thanks to the whole family again!

Good condition room,good safari,good food and good taxxi service provide this hotel .I saw the elephants coming to the front elephant fence right from the balcony of the hotel.I recommend this hotel to foreigners who wish to visit Udawalawe.I hope to come back to this hotel. The owner and his family are really helpful and would recommend this hotel to everyone.🤗🤗🤗🤗

Loved the stay. The hosts were very friendly and provided all meals (Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast) which made everything extremely convenient. The hosts also provide a safari option which is good value for money for a family. Highly recommended.

Very nice and cosy! The owner and his family are so friendly! I recommend the salary with him. We enjoy lovely experiences with him. His wife is so kind and his son very good student!

I'm so glad we stayed here - the host family is the cutest ever. They cooked us the most delicious, varied meals for breakfast and dinner every day and helped us catch a bus to our next destination. We had a lovely and interesting chat with the wife who speaks very good English. Husband took us on a safari where we saw lots of elephants, deer, buffaloes, mongooses, pelicans, crocodiles, peacocks, etc. He made sure that we don't go on the same road as the people most of the time. Tip: If you do the 12-hour safari, you can see lots of animals in the morning and elephants bathing in the afternoon. You might get lucky and see. And we regularly saw an elephant from the balcony of the room. The rooms are very clean, beautiful and the balcony is great for chilling. We will come back to this lodge one day.Owner provide you a good safari, thank you very much!!!!

The hosts running this resort is very nice. They provided very good breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us at very reasonable prices. We also took the safari tour they provided, which was very good too. They finally arranged the taxi for us to go to the next city. The room is spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable. The location is close to the national park. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.

The location was perfect for going on safari. The hotel is stunning, and we were given fruit from the garden as snacks. The family who run the hotel were really helpful and kind and made us amazing meals. They also took us to the local elephant sanctuary one evening. They also offer safari trips themselves!

jungle lodge is a very peaceful place and it has beautiful view and a big garden. it is situated opposite side of the udwalawe national park . the family is fantastic. owner is a very good man he looked after us very well.food is fantastic .i recommend this place to everyone

Wonderful homestay!! The family is super nice, and they organize everything you need. We did a safari with them and were really skeptical at first that it will be a race with jeeps in the national park. But they went off the beaten track and did a wonderful safari! We also loved dinner and the breakfast was the best we had so far! Their juices sourced with fruits from their own garden were also super delicious! We definitely recommend this place!!!

The staff was lovely—so accommodating and kind—and the location was perfect. The rooms were wonderful and well-kept. I stayed in a great room, with two double beds, pink bedspreads, and beautiful veils that double as mosquito nets. The air conditioning and other facilities worked very well. I was grateful for the cold room! Very close to the elephants and an easy drive to many beautiful views. And the breakfast, particularly roti, was delicious.

A very beautiful and free place. The staff are very friendly people. I can see a beautiful lake from here. There is a Udawala forest in front of me.I have seen forest before go in side & nice place. I will come again. Thank you very much.
