Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Location, walking distance to most of all the beautiful Biarritz Centre Ville. It is just like shown on website. The lady in the reception was kind, happy, helpful and gave us lots of tips!! Breakfast is € 13,5 and has good bread, tea , coffee , croissants, juice etc with nice tables .
The rugs from the stairs need to be changed

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026The location was very good. The room was very spacious and overall comfortable, clean and nice.
Overall, the property was nice. However for the cost per night, I did expect more. I understand it’s high season and most hotels in Biarritz are expensive, but we decided to pay a little bit more to get a nice hotel but felt dissapointed when we arrived. While we’re overall happy with the stay, the hotel lack personality and that “extra” that you expect when paying that kind of money. Also, the Wi-fi did not work properly, so take that into consideration if you need to work or don’t have data. There is no elevator so you have to carry luggage up the stairs. There is also not 24 hours reception (only a few hours per day). Not deal breakers for us but good to be aware of.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026L’hôtel est très bien situé. Je n’étais pas véhiculée et j’a pu faire tout à pied. Les restaurants, bars, cafés, plages sont à proximité. Il y a aussi des arrêts de bus pas loin si on veut aller à saint jean de luz, la gare ou autre.
Le wifi fonctionnait très mal.

Leider war das Zimmer nicht korrekt gereinigt. Konkret: - Teppichboden mit Sand und Krümeln von Brot o.ä. - Haare auf einem Handtuch - Schmutziger Boden im Bad neben der Toilette und extrem zwischen WC und Duschkabine - Alter Staub auf dem Schrank Das krasseste: - Wir haben direkt am Morgen nach der ersten Nacht die Handtücher zum Wechsel auf den Boden gelegt, mindestens eines davon - schmutzig - wurde dann vom Roomservice wieder zurückgelegt Da die Rezeption am Abend nicht besetzt ist, konnten wir das leider nicht reklamieren und sind dann eh planmäßig nach 2 Nächten weitergezogen.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Il punto di forza dell’hotel è senza dubbio la posizione. Non si trova in una zona particolarmente panoramica e non offre la vista sul mare, ma è estremamente strategica: in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono sia il centro di Biarritz sia le principali spiagge. Le camere, per essere un tre stelle, sono confortevoli, di dimensioni adeguate e abbastanza silenziose, permettendo di riposare bene. Ho apprezzato anche la qualità dei prodotti della colazione, in particolare la possibilità di preparare una spremuta d’arancia fresca con arance intere.
Il rapporto qualità prezzo, a mio avviso, non è soddisfacente. La tariffa dell’hotel è piuttosto elevata e la colazione non è inclusa. Il costo è di circa 13 euro e, pur essendo i prodotti di buona qualità, la scelta è davvero limitata: pochi tipi di pane, un solo formaggio, un solo tipo di prosciutto, marmellate, poca frutta e un solo croissant a persona. Anche la pulizia delle camere potrebbe essere migliorata, perché non mi è sembrata all’altezza del prezzo richiesto. Nel complesso mi aspettavo un livello di servizio superiore, soprattutto considerando quanto costa il soggiorno.

Habitación pequeña a la que le hace falta mantenimiento de las instalaciones y una limpieza más profunda. Reservamos una habitación doble superior, pero estaba en un bajo con una terraza sucia y con mesa y sillas de madera muy descuidados. También tenía un muro bastante alto que hace que entre poca luz natural.

The Wi-Fi in room 10 is not good. Also last year in room 15 we did not have a strong signal. I wonder wether the first floor generally has a poor Wi-Fi signal…

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Das Personal war durchgängig sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch als ich viel früher als zur Check-In-Zeit neben meinem Gepäck gern auch mein Fahrrad unterstellen wollte. Das Zimmer war geräumig, modern und praktisch eingerichtet und das Hotel liegt direkt im Zentrum von Biarritz (Barnea heisst aus baskisch Zentrum) und doch ruhig. Auch bis zum Strand sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Beim Frühstück gab es lokalen Honig, lokale Schwarzkirschkonfitüre und lokalen Joghurt, alles sehr gut, wie auch der Käse.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026We liked the room’s practical layout - there was plenty of storage space, convenient coat hooks, a small refrigerator, and a pleasant room design. We also liked the bathroom fixtures.
The soundproofing could be better, you could hear cars driving by, and it was a bit noisy. Also, breakfast cost €13.50 per person, but in my opinion, it could be improved - I’d like to see a broader variety of options and the addition of an omelet. The glass lamp above the bed was covered in dust.

L’hôtel n'a pas de parking, et celui le plus proche coûte 25 € les 24 heures. Mais c'est Biarritz !

Reviewed May 28, 2026The location was very central and close to restaurants and beaches. But be warned, it’s halfway up a steep road.
I booked this hotel because the pictures seemed to show the rooms had wood flooring but it’s actually very worn carpet. The building seems quite old as there’s no elevator, and the staircase is very narrow. There’s no soundproofing at all so I found it quite noisy. Even after asking for my room to be cleaned, the bathroom sink and floor were left dirty. There were no drinking glasses in either the room or bathroom and very few coat hangers.
