Cleanliness Facilities had everything. Fridge hairdryer etc First class place to stay would highly reccomend it and would use it again 100%

Room could have been a little bigger and bed higher but thats just being over picky.

There was a recommendation in the room for The Peach Tree restaurant for breakfast with 15% off. We tried it and even with the discount it was awful and overpriced.

Clean, well designed, comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities were good. Hairdryer, straighteners and ironing board in the cupboard. Nice house.

There was a fan, but it was a bit noisy, so didn’t use it. There was a dripping noise from the bathroom, but no visible drip? Little bit far from town, further than I realised.

House is in a quiet area with readily available parking on streets around. Lovely comfortable room, whole house was spotless and well maintained. Easy and pleasant walk in to town, through parkland (well lit in evening too). Coffee tea etc well supplied, along with biscuits and crisps and even a couple of paper cups for takeaway coffees! We also noticed crockery etc for takeaways were available downstairs (we didn't use them, but appreciate the thought behind it). Would thoroughly recommend.

Comfortable and clean and free WiFi

Bed was quite low. Decor was a bit odd but that's just a personal thing. The toon was quite hot and the fan I found in the cupboard was quite loud. I did sorry that a little by fixing the fact that the cage on the fans was squashed that caused the noise. Parking on the road - tight and we got the very last spacer on the road, even though we arrived at about 4pm. There was a fridge, so why did we have the horrid uht milk.

Nice room, bathroom, fridge, tea coffee, nicely decorated. All very nice. Street parking was easy. 5min walk to the English bridge, about 10mis to pubs and restaurants in town centre. It was very hot during our stay but the room was OK, not too hot. We used the discount in the local restaurant for breakfast which were very nice. Would stay again. Easy checkin/out.

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and in a really peaceful area, with a great location right opposite the park and within easy walking distance of the town. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with a large wardrobe, sofa, iron and ironing board. The bathroom was huge and having a window made it feel really bright and pleasant. We especially appreciated having a fan in the room, which made a big difference during the high temperatures! Check-in and check-out were super easy and everything was straightforward. Thank you for having us — we really enjoyed our stay!

The area is quiet and leafy and the room beautifully decorated . The bed is quite low but we managed ! Nespresso machine very welcome and a big handful of pods not just the customary ‘two’! Biscuits, tea, milk , fridge, even takeaway coffee cups. Decent wine glasses ! Beautifully appointed bathroom - the mirror over the bath has a sensor to come on which is a bit temperamental. Would definitely stay again and 100.%

We were given a room at the side of the hotel. It had an excellent bathroom, two Tvs one in a seating area away from the bedroom. Surrounded by flowers it was very peaceful. The breakfast which included smoked salmon was delicious. Free parking too.

The property is beautiful, spotlessly clean, really thought out decor and extremely peaceful. The bed is extremely comfy and we had a great nights sleep! The owners are friendly and welcoming to! Will 100% stay here again! Short walk into town or taxi is about £8.00 which isn’t bad at all! Shower in the king suite is amazing! Mini fridge in the room for drinks or snacks! Water already provided along with coffee, tea, crips and biscuits! Wish we could of stayed longer!

Lovely, comfortable room in a quiet location.

I love the fact they provide coffee machine, tea and the wide selection of snacks in the room. Also I was there during the heatwave and they were very thoughtful putting the water in the fridge.

It is not super clear how to get there. No signs, no numbers no description on building and all buildings look similar so it is not very easy to find, especially when dark

As a result of unusually high temperatures the room was a little bit warm. However a freestanding fan was provided which we did appreciate.

Lovely lounging area and TV, pretty bed and great decor but sadly our stay was affected by Noisy people in the room above walking about continually in the night and early morning until approximately 3.00am keeping us awake Would be really helpful to have hooks or more storage in the bathroom for cosmetics and sundries and a blind in the bathroom Fantastic location. Nothing. It was lovely. There were two themed signs in the ‘Alice’ themed room. Neither of which worked. One had no plug and the other the wires were degraded and it kept going off. They were pretty so I would have put them on in the evening. Sure they are easily fixed.

The only criticism I would have is that the mattress is a bit sunken, feels like it’s had plenty of usage, think it needs renewing.

This is lovely property in a quiet location with a short walk into town. The room was very spacious with it own bathroom.

Unfortunately due to the heatwave in England (which I appreciate is not the property owners fault) the room is not set up for heat. Whilst the room had a small fan, it was left open to the sun on arrival & the bathroom due to the skylight was like a sauna & would be helped by a blind covering. It would be helped to close up the blinds & leave a note for new entrants as to why. I’m sure they would appreciate.

Only my personal view for the room size less furniture would allow to move easier around the room. As with two cases it became cramped One other comment being breakfast. We visited the nearby cafe/ bar as recommended by the property, but gave up waiting for breakfast after an hour

We stayed in the Alice Room. Only a few issues, the bathroom lighting is a bit dark and the mirror light is faulty..Keeps coming on with sensor but goes off quickly and randomly so you cant see, just needs a new one. The two Neon signs in the room dont work which isnt an issue but wouldve great if they did.

Large comfortable room with good sized ensuite. The Alice in wonderland theme was fun & tastefully done. Check in was by a keysafe. We did not meet anyone but the room was very clean.

The bed linen was not clean. Terrible noise from the room upstairs. You an hear every move of a person. The cleaner in the morning was very noisy. The matters is terrible. I was mislead by beautiful pictures of the room.

Great location, easy walk into town centre. Very nice room, simple check in / out, comfy bed, and tea / coffee making facilities provided (even a selection of sweets for guests just inside the front door).

Couple of minor tweaks / suggestions. Our room (Alice in Wonderland theme - No 4) could do with some blackout curtains, sunlight comes streaming in, also somewhere to hang towels (particularly bath towels) needed in the bathroom. Mirror light above sink is very sensitive and feels like you're in a disco when washing hands or brushing teeth.

The room was lovely, clean and the mattress was so nice. Slept really well!

You could hear people walking past quite clearly which made me think there wasn’t sound proofing in the room, which I think would be great.

Room was a boiling 32C at night, no AC, windows would only open 5 inches. No top sheet only a quilt! Is it too much to provide a simple flat sheet? Would not stay here again.

Modern decor, clean and fresh. Good size bathroom with soft towels. Coffee and tea facilities were very good maybe some small packets of biscuits would have been nice. Location was excellent for us as we were happy to walk into town. We liked the park across the road for access to the bridge that took us across the river, and then a path that took you into town.

Limited on-sight parking but there were some road side spaces near the property.

Great place to stay within walking distance of Shrewsbury city centre, lovely views from our bedroom windows and spacious, well decorated rooms. In a quiet leafy area, with a lovely walk to a bridge crossing the river Severn. Comfortable beds, great coffee and tea facilities with mini fridge in the room. Large bathroom with a shower with multiple jets.

Rooms were very warm, but it was unseasonably warm 28C. However opening the windows allowed a breeze.

This was a very fine room with decent en suite bathroom, in a large house. There was no staff present but typical facilities for example, coffee/tea, water and snacks were of very good quality. The location was quiet within easy walking distance of the historic town centre.

The room was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The short walk into the town centre was a delight, either passing the Abbey or via parkland and riverside.

Very comfortable bed, room was nicely decorated. Large ensuite. Very clean. The room has a kettle, coffee machine, a small fridge and lots of tea/coffee/sugar and milk. The TV was large and we watched a film on Netflix after our meal. We drive to town to eat out rather than walk but it was only 10 mins. The rooms were located in a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of parking.

There were so many nice touches - beautiful cups, coffee machine, Netflix on the TV, spacious shower room, art on the walls that is not as bland as most hotels, even good quality toilet roll! The property is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking is pretty easy. And excellent value for money. I will be staying here again.

It was very clean and comfortable. Also in a good position with enjoyable walk into Shrewsbury. The room was a very good size and decoration was exceptional. There were good tips on where to eat and on take away places. Also, they left cutlery in hallway to use which was helpful.

Although it had a steam shower you couldn’t really use it as the water pressure was terrible so just a normal shower was difficult. The shower cubicle was lovely though and plenty of heat in the water, just not a lot of water. The bed was a little tired with a dip in the middle and the pillows and quilt definitely need changing as they are very tired and worn, there was no decent support in the pillows and they were uncomfortable. We found that a great shame as the sheets and quilt cover were lovely and would be such an easy fix. One of the towels had a hole in it.

Beautiful clean accommodation and close to centre. Nice touch with the crisps and the Biscoff they were greatly enjoyed when we got back Sunday night after a long day. Bed comfy and high standard room. Thank you.

Lovely house in a beautiful, peaceful area. There is a large park/nature reserve just a stones throw away, and it's about a 15-20 walk into the town centre. Easy key-retrieval for the self check-in, and ample parking. The room was smart and immaculate. We'll definitely stay here again when we're visiting Shrewsbury.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the frame was not very sturdy at all. The bathroom had a door that led onto the landing but was not soundproofed so anyone passing would hear. A basic plaster covering the keyhole

Great communication regarding booking in, parking, and directions leading up to stay and great information booklet about the facilities and surrounding areas in the room. Alice suite was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed and cosy warm environment.

The only thing that really affected our experience was neighbouring dog barking from around 7am in the morning.
