Riad M Azbetz

I had x2 reservations with this property. I could not find or reach the property for neither reservations. Booking.com agents could not reach the property either. I am wondering if this place actually exists or it is a scam.

I could not find the place and had to find another accommodation. It was very stressful and frustrating.

Property no longer exists. We arrived at 5pm in a very busy area of Marrakech and really struggled to find our way around. Eventually a nice employee from another riad helped us and we were able to find the ex-Azbetz riad where we were informed by the new owners that the previous owners sold this in December but left it listed on booking.com. Pretty shocking and an awful experience. At least we got our money back.

This property is a scam. They didn’t reply to any of our messages and when we came to Marrakech the property was nowhere to be found and the phone number goes directly to voicemail. Thankfully we found some really nice people that helped us find another accommodation in the middle of the night and booking returned our money.

Ospitalità, gentilezza, tranquillità, quiete

Nice and clean riad with very comfortable beds located not far from Madrasa Ben Youssef. It was a bit difficult to find as there are no signs for it on the street, but in the end we made it. Our host was very kind and really did his best to make us happy. Breakfast was nice and they even kindly packed it for us when we were going on a day trip. Thank you!

First of all, our host was amazing, he fulfilled our needs and helped us solve our problems. The riad has a very beautiful environment, the rooms also. The breakfast was nice with a good vibe.

Everything was perfect!

La struttura é nel cuore della medina. L’host è stato molto accogliente e sempre disponibile. Ci è venuto incontro in ogni nostra esigenza: ci ha fornito un asciugacapelli quando ne avevamo bisogno ed ha modificato l’orario della colazione in base alle nostre necessità. Super consigliato!!

le riad n'existe pas, la police touristique a constaté pas de riad au 63 rue azbetz nous avons passé trois heures à le chercher avec l'aide de la population et des commerçants de la rue nous avons eu affaire à une arnaque avec un prélèvement important pas de contact répondant au numéro de téléphone boîte vocale, plusieurs personnes ont essayé de les contacter faux document pas de numéro de réservation et code confidentiel sur le document personnes s'est inquiété que nous venions pas !!!

Petit-déjeuner correct mais pas beaucoup de place si l'établissement est au complet. Emplacement idéal car au centre de la médina.

Pas de place dans la salle de bain pour ranger les affaires et pas de lampes de chevet pour lire.

Such a lovely escape in the chaos of the Souks. My friend and I slept like a baby in our peaceful rooms. Loved the breakfast loved the vibe great experience.! Our host went above and beyond. He was absolutely delightful helpful and such a sweetheart..

Everything was perfect

Nothing postivie to report. It appears to be scam. On the day of check-in they informed us that we cannot get the room. They asked us to cancel the reservation. As there is a cancellation fee we had to ask for special no-fee-cancellation to which they did not reply. We tried to contact them on phone we tried to find the riad at the given adress. Without success. We are still struggling with bookong.com customer service to get our money back.

Things happen, and it is totally possible that a riad has a problem with one of their rooms. Though not responding to messages is just bad.

This beautiful Riad is an oasis of tranquility in the middle of Marrakech's chaotic Medina. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We would describe the breakfast as simple but high quality and fresh. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Overal great value for money. We've had an incredible stay and would recommend anyone going to Marrakech to consider staying here.

The only two minor downsides were regarding the bathroom. The shower head repeatedly fell down while showering and there is no shower screen, resulting in the entire bathroom floor being wet after showering.

Yassine was a great host!

Great place to stay in Medina. Yassin really went out of his way to help us out, just all in all great guy. Highly recommend

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The customer service aspect was exemplary, one of the highest level of service I’ve ever received. From the beginning we were messaged in the days prior to our arrival and provided a location where someone was meeting us to direct us to the exact location. Which made finding the Riad an absolute breeze. During the check in process we were met with a staff member named Yassen who went above and beyond to help make us feel at home during our stay at the Riad. Yassen offered us a welcoming tea and provided us with a direct line of communication and told us to contact him if we needed anything at all. We did. With somewhat late notice, we asked Yassen if there was a possibility of printing our boarding passes for the airport the following morning. Yassen printed our boarding passes over night and pre-arranged a transport service to the airport. I really wanted to pass on my gratitude and appreciation to Yassen who has shown an exceptionally high level of customer service along with a strong work ethic and dedication to the job and making the customers feel like family. I will be highly recommending this Riad to friends and anyone one thinking of going to Marrakech. The Riad itself is also nothing short of amazing. Clean, comfortable with great facilities. Hot water, strong water pressure. All the ticks from me.

We had a great time at Riad M Azbetz. It is a small Riad right in the medina, a great location. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds are comfy and it was nice and quiet. Yassine was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, big thanks to him! He was very willing to help us with anything we needed during our stay. The breakfast was lovely too so shout out Samad. Would thoroughly recommend!

If you’re looking for an exceptional stay in Marrakech, I highly recommend staying at a riad hosted by Yassine. From the moment we arrived, his hospitality was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure we had everything we needed and offered fantastic recommendations for exploring the city. The riad itself was stunning—beautifully designed, peaceful, and immaculately maintained. It felt like a true oasis in the heart of Marrakech. Yassine’s dedication to making guests feel at home truly set this stay apart. If you’re visiting Marrakech and want an authentic, comfortable experience, this is the perfect place!

The location was amazing and the staff were very helpful. We loved lounging in the sun on the roof terrace!

The shower in our room wasn’t great, it leaked into the whole bathroom and was sometimes hard to get any more than a dribble of hot water. Our beds were positioned separately, rather than as a double bed, which we didn’t mind at all and they kindly offered to move but they were very heavy so we decided against this.

The Riad was gorgeous! We felt very welcomed, cared for and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights but could have stayed much longer :) Shoutout to Oussama, the hotel staff, he was so attentive and helpful. He booked us a transport to some of our sightseeing spots, rearrange breakfast to be earlier upon request and always cared about how our day was, giving us recommendations on where to go or where to eat Couldn’t have been more helpful ☺️💖 Stephanie was so lovely and had decorated our room as we were celebrating our anniversary! It looked so beautiful ! She also booked our taxi from the airport and met us to guide us to the riad upon arrival into Marrakech 💖 We would recommend here to anyone and we are going to rebook soon for later this year to go back Thank you so much Oussama and Stephanie for making our first time to Morocco so memorable and special 💖 can’t wait to come back

Central location, clean and quiet respite from the chaos of the medina. Wonderful staff who were accommodating to our every need and went above and beyond in terms of hospitality!
