נתנו לנו חדר בקומה 6 מתחת למועדון היתה מסיבה לא יכולנו לישון כל הלילה רעש מחריד התיקרה של החדר מתחת למועדון הרעש היה היה מחריד עד 4 בבוקר

I had booked a triple room as I was with my parents. We got a corner room and 3 proper beds. The room was excellent! Location was really good too, and the hotel restaurants had quite good food too. Hotel was more upscale than my expectations (based on the pics I had seen online).

Breakfast buffet was not bad, but as vegetarians I hoped for a bit more options. Some of the staff were Indian so they were helpful in accommodating my parents needs (like super hot water for tea). The other thing was that everyday the breakfast was literally the same. But this seemed to be the case in ALL hotels we stayed at in Switzerland.

Nothing to like the staff very rude i asked them to change my dates as i’ve been booking 5 nights and totally paid after i came from Barcelona and for the bad weather and storm this week ,i asked them even to change date’s instead of refund as i stayed one day with my family and the weather was too bad and i want to enjoy first impression for Lucerne,they don’t even care about all the reply it’s your opinion sir

The Breakfast too limited Rooms don’t worth it at all I asked for a 2 room connected and a room with king bef and other with twin bed and they replied by the reservation we will do sir,and once arrived they replied we don’t have !!!! Sadly on arrival we overhead some reception staff mocking other guest asking extra linen, also head by another couple whom also believed this was inappropriate. One male receptionist absolutely rude and made myself feel absolutely worthless, our room didn't look anything like what the internet showed, when we questioned it, it was stated "we are not the sheraton" our fridge was broken, needed to ask for a kettle I didn't enjoy my stay at the hotel at all,

루프탑에서 파티가 이뤄지는 날은 엘레베이터 와 같은 곳에 안내가 필요합니다 . 4성급 이상 호텔들은 루프탑에 바가 있지만 창문 방음을 확실하게 합니다 하지만 창문 방음이 확실하지 않은데 루프탑에서 금요일인지 토요일인지 DJ 불러서하는 파티는 누굴 위한 행사인지 이해하기ㅜ어렵습니다 정말 과한 소음으로 괴로워하는 객실 손님에게 귀마개응 주고 새벽 한시반이면 끝난다고 안내합니다 이 호텔은 반드시 루프탑을 충분히 즐길 손님에게 추천합니다 그리고 처음 받은 방은 화장실에 문도 없고 구조 또한 급하게 만든 느낌의 룸이였습니다 특히 침대 매트리스는 살짝앉아도 푹 꺼져버려서 불쾌감을 이루 말할 수 없었습니다 정말 이런 호텔이 4성급이라는것을 나는 믿을 수 없고 루체른 관광 물가를 정말 체감하게 되었습니다 그리고 침대 헤드 방향도 복도쪽이여서 밖에서 여닫는 소리 지나다니는 소리가 누우면 다 들립니다 컴플레인 후 바꾼방은 더 좋은 등급의 방이 아니라했지만 그래도 바꾸고싶어 바꿨는데 훨씬 아늑하고 정상적인 구조의 룸이였으며 화장실 문도닜고 침대 베드도 높고 아주 좋은 상태였습니다 테이블 또한 우드로 훨씬 좋은 상태엿습니다 여자 혼자 여행이라 치안이 중요하고 안전한 호텔에서 묵고싶었는데 사실 편히 묵지 못한 3일 이였습니다 그리고 깔끔한 청소를 노력하는 것은 알겠지만 침대 밑 카펫은 없애는것을 추천합니다 너무 오염되어 청소를 깨끗히해요 깨끗히 한 느낌이 안납니다

Unacceptable and despicable treatment for a self proclaimed 4 star hotel. My 80 year-old disabled mother and I arrived exhausted after traveling on a night train. Due to a temporary credit card authorization delay, the Front of House Manager, ADAM, held us hostage in a suffocatingly hot lobby for 3 full hours. Instead of showing basic human empathy, helping us find an alternative solution for a booking that was already fully prepaid, or letting a senior citizen rest, Adam was profoundly disrespectful, condescending, and aggressively interrogated me about our medical insurance.Only after I completely lost my patience, confronted him about his abusive behavior toward a disabled elderly tourist, and explicitly promised him a scathing online review, his attitude suddenly shifted. He backed down, accepted a lower deposit (proving his initial psychological pressure was completely arbitrary), and suddenly tried to play the 'friendly host'. He even attempted to bribe us out of a bad review by offering complimentary fruits in our room and a free drink at the rooftop bar once 'everyone was calmer.'An absolute joke. A free drink does not erase three hours of elder abuse and psychological harassment. Adam never offered a genuine, formal apology. The city of Lucerne is beautiful, but the management at Hotel Astoria lacks basic human decency. Avoid at all costs, especially if traveling with elderly or vulnerable family members.

The breakfast was fantastic, but since I stayed for almost seven days, having the exact same options every morning became a bit repetitive. As a regular international traveler, I usually notice that hotels rotate two or three hot items daily to give guests some variety. It would be a great touch if the chef could implement a similar rotation here. Aside from this, everything else was superb. Thank you to the management!

Resepsiyonist ukala ırkçı biri idi. Booking den kiraladığımız halde rezervasyonunuz yok dedi. İspatlamamız zaman aldı. Sonra oda sınıfımızı yükselttiğini söyledi, halbuki en kötü odayı vermiş. Sonra farkettik. 4 gün 3 gece kaldık. Çarşaflarımızı bırakın değiştirmeyi düzeltmediler bile. Sadece üst örtüyü düzeltmişler.

Great location, beautiful hotel, clean and luxurious room, and a nice rooftop bar with views of the city.

We picked the hotel because of the car park, but it’s quite expensive and a bit uncomfortable as the basement is quite small, spaces were tight, it’s really hot, and you have to use a car elevator to get in/out.

The only thing I like about it was center.

I had booked deluxe rooms, when we got a different building there was a very strong bad smell in one of the room and the other one was smelling cigarette. We had to. One of the staff had showed me the room and it was even worse. Finally, we went to another room in the same building and that was OK but nothing close to the deluxe. At the checkout, I asked for some sort of credit they said since it was through Booking.com, they won’t be able to give me any credit. They have to contact Booking.com. I would never recommend this hotel very bad experience first day in Switzerland.

Property is very much overpriced. Facilities were barely there. Staff is not at all good and seems rude. Not at all welcoming. Saturday nights are so noisy inside the room as well due to their penthouse disco.

Comfortable Bed and location

Very disappointing experience. The hotel deducted CHF 120 (CHF 40/night) from my security deposit as a pet fee without informing me or giving me the option to pay separately. For this fee, not even a water bowl was provided. The standard room was extremely small, with an open-plan toilet and no separating door to the bedroom. Reception said all standard rooms were like this, although other guests had rooms with a glass bathroom door. It also took several days and repeated reminders to receive a clear invoice. Undisclosed charges, inconsistent information and poor communication made this a very disappointing stay.

The location was great wonderful restaurants in the hotel. The rooftop bar was exceptional. Great drinks and food.

Excellent breakfast buffet variety. The hotel is close to the train station and the old town. It has air conditioned rooms, which you really need in the summer. Our room was spotlessly clean.

We had a prepaid reservation at the Boutique Hotel Weisses Kreuz. We were a day late getting there and did not notify them until the morning of our arrival. When we arrived, tired from 16 hours of travel, to find that they had cancelled our booking, rented our room, and are keeping our money that we prepaid. They did send us toi the Astoria Hotel saying that it would cost $795 E per night but when we got there they said about 1400 Euro per night. We asked about the quoted E 795 price and they said that was only if we booked online! We could manage the booking on our phones but the check in gal helped us to do it. Very weird. We then ate at their Italian restaurant, La Cucina which was expensive and disappointingly mediocre. It was in the 90 degrees F and the air conditioner in our room barely functioned. The room was quite small with no minifridge and no closet doors. No shampoo and conditioner - no lotion. Old towels. The Thai restaurant was expensive but very very good and we found everyone on the staff helpful and friendly. The location is great - close to the train station and the Rosenberg Collection as well as Lucerne's old town. Not sure you could pay me to stay there again though.

Tout était parfait sauf le wifi qui passe très mal. Très propre, très confortable avec des chambres spacieuses. Bon air conditionné. Magnifique salle de bain. Beau , agréable rooftop avec de bons cocktails. Petit déjeuner grandiose, mais dans une salle un peu triste.

Mauvais wifi. Parking cher à 50 € par jour. Parking municipal pas loin.

Location within walking distance of the train station making it easy to get there without needing an uber. Breakfast was phenomenal and the staff were very courteous and helpful, Within walking distance of shopping and stores and food places.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Zu Fuss ist man in 5 Minuten am Bahnhof und somit auch gleich am See. Das Frühstück ausreichend. Es wurde immer gleich nachgelegt.

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer. Okay die Regendusche ist nicht beim Standardzimmer aber das Zimmer hatte nur Bett, kleiner Schreibtisch, 1 Stuhl und ein offenes Regal als Schrank mit Safe und kleiner Kühlschrank. Keinen grossen Spiegel und auch keinen zusätzlichen Sessel. Das Zimmer war im hinteren Bereich, sodass ab 7 Uhr der Lieferverkehr hier erfolgte und auch die Mülltonnen auf dieser Seite geleert wurden.

La gestion du nettoyage des chambres : notre chambre n'était prête à 15h et pas nettoyée le premier jour. Cela a été bien géré après notre réclamation.

Cama boa, café da manhã bom, chuveiro bom, janelas anti ruído no quarto e excelente localização.

Limpeza muito ruim. Ordem depósito na chegada além da estadia já paga. Não me senti em casa. Alguns funcionários não fazem questão de ser simpáticos. Fui tomar banho de banheira e ao olhar pra cima vi a antiga saída de água cheia de limo, suporte do sabonete e azulejos perto do chuveiro cheios de limo e o banheiro do café da manhã sujo. Não repuseram sabonetes nem cremes numa das diárias. Não deram o cartão de cidadão na recepção quando cheguei mesmo eu pedindo no booking. E o que mais achei absurdo, mesmo pagando integralmente a estadia pelo booking, quando você chega pedem um depósito de 300 Francos suíços no cartão de crédito, então vá preparado! Não sei o booking permite isso.

I made the mistake of not paying attention to previous guest reviews because I assumed the issues had already been addressed. The main reason I chose this hotel was the availability of air conditioning during the summer. If you are traveling with family and young children, think carefully before booking. I reserved two rooms, expecting to accommodate one adult and two young children in each room, even if it meant paying an additional occupancy fee. Instead, I was shocked when the receptionist immediately prepared the credit card machine and asked me to pay an extra CHF 2,300 for a third room for our one-week stay. He claimed this was a better rate than the booking websites. When I explained that I could simply divide the children between the two rooms, he said nearby guests might object and that this was hotel policy. I found this explanation unreasonable. Whether the children stayed together or separately in the two rooms made no difference to other guests. It felt like an attempt to charge for an unnecessary additional room. Before agreeing, I checked Booking.com and found a rate that was CHF 500 lower than the hotel's offer. My experience during check-out was equally disappointing. Before the agreed check-out time of 11:30 a.m., hotel staff entered my rooms and insisted that I leave immediately or I would be charged for another day starting at noon. I explained that my luggage was packed and I was preparing to leave as agreed. Meanwhile, what appeared to be an inspection team began searching the rooms for anything they could potentially charge me for. At reception, I was informed that my children had drawn on a table and that I would be charged CHF 120. I asked them to show me the marks so I could simply clean them with wet wipes, but they refused to allow me to do so. They also attempted to charge me because a window had been secured with tape. Ironically, this had been done by a member of the hotel staff after I requested assistance in locking it.

I then overheard the inspection team leader mentioning that the telephones in the rooms were not working, seemingly suggesting that my family had caused the problem. In reality, the phones had never worked from the moment we checked in. Since they were unusable, I had been visiting the reception desk in person whenever I needed assistance. I chose not to complain about this during my stay, and that was my mistake. My advice to future guests is to report every issue immediately and ensure it is documented. On my final day, I asked if I could leave my car in the hotel parking lot until the afternoon. The parking area was almost empty, yet the hotel refused, saying parking was not permitted beyond 1:00 p.m., despite the amount I had spent during my stay. In total, I paid approximately CHF 6,500 for three rooms for one week. This is comparable to the rates of many luxury five-star hotels that offer spacious rooms, excellent dining, and exceptional service. Unfortunately, this hotel did not deliver a comparable experience. Even when I specifically requested that my room not be cleaned at a certain time, I returned to find housekeeping inside anyway, apparently more concerned with completing their checklist than respecting guest preferences. Overall, the service had a negative impact on what should have been an enjoyable holiday. If you are traveling with children, I recommend thinking very carefully before booking. If you are on your honeymoon, I would not recommend this hotel at all. Solo travelers who spend most of their time outside the hotel may have a better experience. The hotel's culture seems focused on identifying opportunities to impose additional charges rather than providing a welcoming and customer-focused experience. I also noticed that management has been responding to negative reviews with the same generic message for several years, apologizing for not meeting expectations. I encourage the management to benchmark themselves against leading hotels.

Une salle de remise en forme!!!! On se moque de qui!. Petit déjeuner dans une salle ou il manque de la luminosité naturelle. Nettoyage des chambres aux aurores... impossible de dormir et si on peut appeler cela du nettoyage!

La terraza es lo.mas lindo del hotel y se valora la atencion del personal de la recepcion, especialmente de un joven argentino muy bien predispuesto,atento y cordial

El baño un desastre, no tenia puerta!! carente de intimidad, aunado a ello la habitacion solamente tiene un ventana de dimensiones pequeña dificultando la ventilacion.La otra cuestion negativa es que se trata de una ventanal vidriado y los edificios proximos permite la vista de unos con otros.Razon por.la cual las cortinas deben permanecer cerradas los que.resta luminosidad natural.a la habitacion.El fregobar estaba en el baño.

3 kişi konakladık, iç hacim yeterli ve çok konforluydu. Yatak ve yastıklar çok iyiydi. Metro istasyonuna 5 dk kanala 2 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Akşam otele vardığımızda gerçekten kendimizi dinlenmiş hissettik, çatı barı da geceyi sonlandırmak için hoş bir alternatif sunuyor. Lobide görevli çalışanlar çok kibar ve yardımsever, özel bir teşekkür de kendilerine… Teşekkür ederiz.

Our room was on the 6th floor right under the rooftop Bar we couldn’t sleep as you could hear the music, tables been moved ect… the reception told that it was because of the 1st August celebrations…. Which can’t be the case as it clearly says in the bar information that they are open every Saturday till 3.30am…. In the morning the reception told me to write a email to complain and when I asked for the GM name got told they are not allowed to give the name…. Seems strange however up to them…. We will surely not stay again

Upon arriving at the hotel you will notice the exterior leaves much to be desired. It appears shabby in its off white concrete that could use a bit of cleaning. A large, rather tacky and temporary looking plastic sign advertises the upstairs bar. To get to the front desk, you take stairs or a tiny elevator. The check in id describe as average to slightly aloof. It’s the type of place where the front desk staff seems to have a great rapport with each other, but less so with guests. Honestly, this lobby looks like something id expect to see for a conference center hotel, un-pleasing, thrown together and somewhat shabby. The hotel staff seems proud of it though. Rooms: smallish which is fine but no closet doors, no mini fridge, and very low quality sheets. Very clean however so that’s good. I have several shirts that need an iron and there is no iron or board in room, when requested I was told it is a safety issue but they have an iron and board set up in a conference room I could use. Very odd, as of the 4 hotels we’ve stayed in across Europe they all have an iron. Most have a refrigerator and many of the much more budget rooms had much nicer bedding. Honestly, my family and I were very disappointed in this hotel and would not recommend. We booked 2 rooms and they were each nearly $600 per night. Lucerne is expensive and I don’t mind paying for quality but this is not that.
