The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and room service were also good, and overall we had a pleasant stay.

The food could definitely be improved. The chicken fried rice had very little chicken, and the seafood mix rice hardly had any seafood. The seafood pieces also looked more like chicken, which was disappointing. Apart from the food, everything else was good. With some improvement in the food quality and portions, this place could be even better.

The girl who does everything there showed exceptionally good...other facilities too were not too bad.

There was an Electrical short circuit at their garden lighting. So garden lights went off for the whole night. We had to use our phone flash to walk in the garden.

Our stay at Vidisa Villas, Hikkaduwa, was absolutely wonderful! ❤️ We had complete privacy, and the room was neat, clean, and very comfortable. The service was awesome, and everything was well taken care of. The food was also really good, and the prices were very reasonable. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. Thank you to the wonderful family at Vidisa Villas for making our stay so special. We would definitely love to come back again! 🥰 Highly recommended!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like about the property. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the privacy, cleanliness, food, and the warm hospitality. Everything was well taken care of.

Великолепное расположение - в тихом уютном месте вдали от шума дороги, но в 10 минутах от лучших пляжей. С утра одно удовольствие прогуляться, наблюдая обезьянок, варанчиков, красивых птичек! Персонал дружелюбный и старается помочь в любом вопросе. Мы прожили на вилле целый месяц и это было как будто приехали к родственникам, настолько уютно и по-домашнему! Каждый день были вкусные и разнообразные завтраки, отличный кофе! Огромная благодарность хозяевам и процветания! И отдельное удовольствие- играть с самым чудесным псом Бруно и 6ю прекрасными котиками!

Отдичное место ! Тишина и красота ! Красивая ухоженная территория, чистый бассейн, в котором может и взрослый охладиться. Снимали семейный номер, все удобства, все что должно, то работает. Огромный плюс - отсутствие телевизора и наличие исправного кондиционера. Завтраки сытные, меню меняется каждый день. Завтрак подавали очень быстро, не смотря на количество гостей. Организовпли трансфер от и до аэропорта. Любые просьбы по проживанию исполнялись очень быстро. Без вопросов дали утюг, сушилку для белья, дополнителтный удлинитель для розетки. Можно постирать одежду.. До пляжа пешком 10 минут по тихой улочке. Поездов не слышно. Рядом несколько кафе, но при необходимости девушки приготовят любое блюдо. Отдельно хотел бы сказать огромное спасибо всем сотрудникам !!! За ту помощь, которая была оказана моей супруге, когда у неё начался приступ аллергии. За секунды организовали транспорт и лично отвезли нас в госпиталь, где была оказана медицинская помощь. Если когда то вернусь в Хиккадуву, буду здесь жить снова И самая главная достопримечательность это пес Бруно. Милейшее и добрейшее создние ! Если решите тут заселятся, привозите ему мячики или другие игрушки. Игры это его любимое занятие, с листочком в пасти он готов часами бегать от вас по вилле ))) Одна не большая просьба - давать меню с названиям еды которая подается на завтрак. Ешь вкуснятину и не знаешь как она называется. Так и не понял, что это была за каша с орехами и фруктами )))

A notre arrivée, deux adultes un ado, on nous a laissé attendre 1h30. Nous avions réservé deux chambres vue sur jardin et on nous a proposé une chambre avec un lit de 1,40 mètre pour nous trois. La deuxième chambre n'était pas disponible car soit disant un client avait cassé le lavabo. Le client a prolongé son séjour à notre détriment. Après de longue négociation nous avons été relogé chez l'habitant sans piscine. Aparement ce n'est pas la première fois que ça arrive. Malgré la mauvaise fois de la propriétaire, elle a voulu que j'annule la réservation, mais néanmoins nous avons payé le prix avec une petite remise. J'espère que ce commentaire aidera d'autres personnes à ne pas tomber dans le même scénario. Pour nous la piscine n'était pas à la hauteur de nos espérance.

- ordered taxi driver to meet us in airport. he was late by 2 hours. the whole road was 2.15 hours. so it took us additional 4.5 hours to get to the room with small baby. - once you switch off aircondition it is so hot in the room that it is aprx impossible to sleep

The hotel is beautiful. Nice and cozy bungalows and a very friendly staff! The food was very tasty and you only have a shirt walk to the beach. Also Bruno the dog and his kitten siblings are all adorable and very friendly!

We visited during the off-season, so there was less staff than usual. We also had a few bug encounters since the room hasn't been occupied for a little bit. Not a big thing though and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Amazing lady offering us all we needed and even made us take away pancakes 🥞 for early check out. Very friendly we highly recommend. Very calm too away from traffic

La piscina súper limpia, no hay hamacas pero creo que tampoco las necesitas, tiene un jardín espectacular y las habitaciones son cabañas con nevera!! Relación calidad precio inmejorable

Quizás que la nevera estaba muy vieja pero por decir algo “negativo”

W obiekcie było bardzo czysto, woda w basenie również była czysta choć dość mocno chemiczna. Na pewno dużą zaletą tego obiektu jest bliskość do głównej plaży. Obsługa była bardzo miła i pomocna, przygotowali dla nas fajne śniadanie.

w pokoju żyją sobie mrówki, choć są również rozsypane trutki na nie, widać że obsługa walczy z tym problemem

Belle grande chambre avec climatisation, ventilateur et grand frigo. Petit déjeuner copieux et très varié. Hôtes très gentils. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Hôtel un peu loin de la rue principale mais cela se fait bien à pied quand même. Piscine agréable, beaucoup de chlore dedans. Qu’un transat présent et inutilisable (moustiques ++).

Отличные хозяева, просторный номер, вкусные завтраки, можно поплавать в бассейне, милая собака на территории :) до океана не так далеко

Lovely family, best dog called Bruno. Authentic home cooked Sri Lankan breakfasts every morning. Absolute legends.

Amazing place! So friendly and helpful family, wonderful breakfast and a perfect spot in Hikkaduwa. I can not complain on anything. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Hikkaduwa.❤️

The hosts are very nice and friendly. Location is pretty good, about 400 m to the beach and very close to the main street with restaurants and shops. I really loved the territory, you live in a tropical garden. We even saw a monkey :) There was a different breakfast every day, everything was tasty.

I would appreciate if there was a fridge in the room. We used the shared one in the shared kitchen but it was not very convenient. Wi-fi is working only next to the reception, our room was far from it and the signal was very poor.

-The location is great. Far enough from the main road, train track and beach etc so it's nice and quiet, but a short walk away -Staff are extremely nice and helpful. The owner in particular is very helpful. Any issues are quickly resolved -The room is good and the bathroom is very spacious. The kitchen/fridge as well as the washing machine are a huge bonus, especially of you're travelling around Sri Lanka and need to was clothes regularly. - The swimming pool is handy to cool off. It does get filled up with dead bugs but at the same time it does get cleaned every other day - Bruno the dog :D

There were a few issues that arose throughout our stay. For instance the bed sheets needed to be replaced on arrival as they were dirty, there was still sand in the bathroom from previous guest, the wifi didn't work and the cooker was a bit dodgy. All of these issues individually are not a big deal and any time I asked for help I was given it. But when I'm paying $166 for 3 nights, I expect a certain standard, and I don't think it was met. There are 2 street lights outside, and the neighbour keeps his porch light on the whole night, so it gets very bright in the room at night

The Staff at Vidisa Villas is just lovely. They are always friendly and keep the place in great shape. The breakfast is exceptional and includes some part continental and also some local dishes. We spend 4 nights here and we received a different local speciality each morning. The main beach in Hikkaduwa can be reached on foot easily. Thank you for hosting us, we will definetly return if we ever manage to come back to Sri Lanka!

Most Friendly stay ever had. It’s like a home 🙃 really enjoyed the stay. Service given by the staff was exceptional.Foods also delicious 😋. Highly recommended!

The best hotel we have been in so far, after one month of traveling in Sri Lanka, from the range of the affordable places! The owner and the hostess offered us fresh juice as a welcoming gesture! There is a refreshing pool where you can enjoy some peaceful moments. The hotel is located quite far from the main street and the beach, around 10-15min walking but that’s what we mostly liked, how relaxing, quiet and pleasant our evenings were! The rooms are really big and comfortable, very clean as well. The bathroom seems very renovated and modern, with a nice smell and an actual separation border between the shower and the toilet! There is hot water (rare in the country) and also mosquito nets if needed. There are also bed lights that you can regulate! We had an insanely delicious breakfast, really big and tasty, with a big variety of savory and sweet treats. We had a great time in the hotel, I highly recommend it!

We had a very nice stay at this place. The owners (they alsoo work as archaeologists) are very friendly, the setup of the whole place is perfect, the breakfast is very nice. It’s a small walk to the beach, and at Villa Vidisa it’s quiet, you can hear the birds. We did also have dinner, which was perfect: nice curry and rice. The room itself was well designed with a good working AC. We made a day trip with a tuk tuk, which gave us the opportunity to see a lot more, then when we had done it at our own. Next time, we certainly come back.

This vila is absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and took care of all our needs. I went with 21 friends of mine and the Vila welcomed us warm heartedly and made sure that the stay was comfortable for us during our stay. There is a kitchen and staff to prepare delicious meals. Breakfast is very delicious. The pool is clean and they provide equipments for BBQ on request. Overall 10/10.
