The studio room is in a great location and has been beautifully decorated. The hosts supply a yummy breakfast of home made muesli and yoghurt. *If you're a couple with large suitcases, just be aware there is not a lot of space to store the cases.

Home-made muesli and delicious yoghurt provided. All mod cons. No microwave but close to numerous cafes. Elegant and well-thought out decor.

Getting in was a bit of a problem but hosts were very helpful.

It was set on a beautiful estate with the historic Freemason’s Lodge front and centre. Kowhai Studio is off to one side. Gardens are spectacular. It’s a short walk in to town with a nice park close by.

Located in a beautiful garden. Thoughtfully appointed studio with everything you need for a short stay. Friendly helpful hosts. The perfect place to stay if you are spending time riding the Hauraki Rail trails.

No espresso machine.

Beautiful building and grounds, private entrance and the studio was perfect for a couple of nights. Paeroa pulled out all the stops with an amazing fireworks display just across the road. Home made muesli for breakfast was a real treat.

Loved the heated bathroom floor! The place was super cozy - we visited during a cold snap and really appreciated the owners turning the heaters on before we got there. It's very neat and tidy and close to everything. Cute town - highly recommend this accommodation

Beautifully presented and clean accommodation contained within an historic building. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Great recommendations for local eateries.

Only that if you need to eat food in the room the table provided is not really designed for this - small and difficult to sit at comfortably.

A very cute, self-contained apartment at the back of a converted Masonic Lodge, Kowhai Studio is in a great location, handy to town, and the start of the Hauraki Railtrail. It is very clean and comfortable, surrounded by a beautiful garden with its own private deck and outdoor seating area. We also really appreciated the homemade museli and yogurt for breakfast. We didn’t get to meet our hosts as they were out of the country, but communications were clear, and there were no problems. Loved it!

Continental breakfast so it was simple but fresh. Walked to restaurants for dinner. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and bird life which we love. Close to rail trail. The studio was spotless and comfortable.

The studio was so clean, neatly designed. The location was perfect to get to the main road, as well as other sights such as Karangahape Gorge and Waihi Beach. The place has an amazing history definitely worth to hear! The host, Linley and John were so amazing and lovely- showed us where to go for coffee etc, I am very thankful how kind they were while we were there.

Beautiful studio, quiet, comfortable and clean. Very homely and warm and well maintained. Will not hesitate to rebook same place when I’m next in the area.

The studio is in a great location just behind the main street of Paeroa so close to many cafes and shops. It was super clean and well equipped with everything I needed. Linley is a kind and thoughtful host, checking to make sure I'd settled in and showing me through the Masonic Lodge. It is a special place. I highly recommend staying at Kowhai Studio.

Location of Kowhai Studio was excellent along with the setting and very comfortable unit. Lynley and John are great hosts and ensure their guests are well looked after.

Wonderful location, walking distance to town, warm, comfortable well appointed accommodation. Exterior landscaping provided a private garden between the accommodation and the street. Excellent host. I highly recommend this accommodation for a single person travelling on business (as I was). It would make a great launch point for a couple at a weekend looking at local attractions.

The first night, a guy at a hall across the road struck up his bagpipes for an hour from 6.30 to 7.30pm. The first 15 minutes were fine. Just not my type of music really. Other than that, I couldn't fault the property or its location.

Hosts were super friendly and the unit was exactly what was pictured. We would definitely go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Very beautiful setting.

Stylish, well equipped studio in a very convenient position. Close to cafes and restaurants. Private parking and easy access. A class above local motel accommodation.

Great central location in Paeroa, very comfortable unit with everything you need. We stayed here while the highland games were on, and it was super handy to the domain. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
