Mi hanno accolta alle 7 del mattino perché il mio volo è arrivato molto presto, mi sono fermata 2 notti L’hotel è vicinissimo alla spiaggia e la sera ci sono molti locali proprio a due passi per mangiare e fare festa Il proprietario ed il signore che lo aiuta sono stati super gentili e disponibili in tutto!! Ho prenotato poi direttamente con loro il mio spostamento a galle
L’hotel non è segnalato dalla strada, è al fondo di una via e serve avere connessione internet per trovarlo, il taxi non è detto che conosca l’hotel Dalla finestra del bagno entrano le formiche ma è molto comune in Sri Lanka avere animali indesiderati in camera, e la struttura è un po trasandata

The one I picked was very spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately I could only stay for one night but I'll happily stay here again if I'm in Negombo in future.

The bathroom could do with a very good clean. The solar heated water was not warm at any time of the day or night. Some people may not have a problem with a cool shower due to the hot, humid weather.

In unserem Zimmer waren sehr viele Ameisen auf dem Boden und dem Bett. Als wir nach einem neuen Zimmer gefragt haben wurden wir zunächst gefragt, ob wir etwas gegessen haben, das die Ameisen anlockt (die Schuld wurde auf uns geschoben). Anschließend wurden die Ameisen mit dem Besen entfernt, was nicht viel gebracht hat. Ein neues Zimmer haben wir wegen Ausbuchung nicht bekommen. Absolute Frechheit. Als Entschädigung hat er uns die Fernbedienung der Klimaanlage gegeben, die er uns vorher weggenommen hatte, da wir keinen Aufpreis dafür zahlen wollten. Zudem war einige Fenster kaputt, weshalb Eidechsen hineingekommen sind. Für kein Geld der Welt würde ich dieses Hotel nochmal buchen.

One can also sit on balcony. Located in small side street. Very close to beach with some beach bars and many mostly upmarket restaurants around. Good value for money
Room could need a bit renovation, paint is coming from the wall.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026Location is great. Receptionnist was super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. He also shared a ton of great recommendations that really helped us make the most of our stay.
The rooms are only 5000 roupies, you get what you pay for: don't expect more. There is no fridge in the room, you will have a small bottle of lukewarm water to last you all night. There are no curtains on a large part of the window, so you'll be woken up at 6 a.m. by bright sunlight right in your face.

Mosquitos were a pain. It happens I know but they were infinite and just kept coming. The host offered spray but they must be entering the room from somewhere

Die Zimmertür ging direkt auf einen Vorhof mit starker Geräuschentwicklung in dem regelmäßig ein Motorrad vorfuhr. Auch das Fenster hatte einen "tollen" Ausblick, nämlich direkt auf eine ca. 2 m entfernte Steinmauer.

环境比较一般，其中一个不带阳台的房间有一股发霉的味道。两个房间的水都不是很热，洗澡并不是很舒适。床头的插头是3个圆孔的，我们带的转换器都无法使用，只有一个插驱蚊液的口子可以使用，所以我们只能在充电和驱蚊里面二选一了。

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Correct pour 1 nuit. Le lit est confortable, eau chaude dans la douche, la wifi marche bien. C’est à 30min en tuk tuk de l’aéroport donc pratique pour ceux qui arrivent ou partent du pays. Le check-in est très rapide.
- L’emplacement n’est pas exactement celui que vous trouverez avec l’adresse indiqué dans booking. Il faut taper « villa marilyn » pour avoir l’emplacement exact. Le propriétaire m’a contacté peu avant mon arrivée et m’avait envoyé la localisation par whatsapp donc je n’ai pas eu de souci à retrouver. - C’est un peu excentré du centre-ville (3km que vous pouvez faire à pied ou en tuk tuk, mais ça ne m’a pas dérangé) - La clim fait beaucoup de bruit, heureusement que j’avais mes boules quies mais malgré ça on peut entendre

I have a large room with big bed, bright toilet and AC with a very good price. The host is also a wonderful part here. He helped me a lot with his honesty and kindness.
