Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The hosts were the nicest people. They had left us the basics, bread, butter, coffee yoghurt etc. Which was really appreciated. The place was spotless and was very comfortable.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we had to leave after only 2 days!

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Ein absolut herzlicher Empfang und nicht nur das, es lag mit Milch, Butter, Brot und Kaffee ein Willkommenspaket für uns da, vielen, lieben Dank dafür! Das großzügige Haus und die ruhige, entspannte Lage, herrlich. Das Badezimmer riesig und schön hell, besser als manch 4 Sterne Hotel. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung. Das Auto konnte direkt vor dem Haus parken. Und was für ein Ausblick , wenn die Containerschiffe vorbei ziehen. Wir haben uns willkommen und wohl gefühlt, Danke!
Beim Backofen waren wir nicht in der Lage ihn heiß zu bekommen, die Grillfunktion war unsere Rettung. Nächstes mal werden wir das mit dem Backofen auch schaffen ;)

Reviewed May 24, 2026Incredible hosts. Showed such kindness to our family. Travelled with two adult boys with special needs and when they found out we were going to Tayto Park came by with a goodie bag for us. Beautiful house. Stunning views. Will be back again.

Reviewed May 19, 2024Beautiful home away from home stay in the peaceful area of baltray. The experience I’ve had with the host was one I’ve never had before. Emer is extremely kind and easy to talk to. The house was beautiful with so many different and unique furnishings. It was extremely private and kept to such a high standard. We had fresh brown bread and jams and items such as butter, milk tea and coffee and biscuits to name a few in the kitchen waiting for us. Emer made sure everything was catered for even down to washing powder. We didn’t travel far from home but there was no need to as this was the perfect spot and we will be back again. As a local from Drogheda I have often admired this area in baltray and the houses in the area so to get to stay there was beautiful. Thank you to emer and her husband and daughter for being so friendly.
Not being able to take the dog Marley home. What a cutie. Marley is very proud of his surroundings.
