Sigiriya Paradise Treehouse

On nous a changé d’hôtel donc ce n’est pas vraiment celui ci mais ça y ressemble, il y avait d’autres treehouse à côté. Très bon petit déjeuner et très belle vue, nous avons passé un très bon moment

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour, toute la famille est accueillante, souriante. Il y a un ventilateur dans la chambre ce qui est agréable pour la nuit, on a une salle de bain privée et c’est très calme. Les petits déjeuners sont typiques et variés, avec des produits locaux. Le père de famille Wimale venait nous chercher le soir en tuk tuk, il nous a emmené à Dambulla et au rocher du lion pour le levé du soleil. Le centre est accessible à pieds, environ 20 min. On recommande cette très gentille famille.

We stay 3 nights and we loved it, especially my son. It was an experience for him to sleep in a treehouse. Is big enough, confy, bathroom is good and the family is wonderfull and very helpful. Very peaceful, fresh nights, we sleep like babies. It has mosquito nets on all beds.

Deze accomodatie was helemaal super! De host zijn enorm aardig en nemen je graag mee op tour. Het avond eten was ongelofelijk, daar zijn we jullie super dankbaar voor ❤️❤️

La famiglia che ci ha accolto è meravigliosa, la colazione e la cena che abbiamo fatto qui sono state deliziose. La casa sull'albero è molto suggestiva, tuttavia abbiamo trovato delle giornate molto ventose e la casa (com'è normale che sia) tremava un pochino. La camera era ordinata e dotata di zanzariere per ogni letto. In bagno c'erano delle piccole formiche solo sulla porta e il proprietario ha risolto subito il problema. Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile e ci ha accompagnati con il suo tuk tuk all'alba a Pidurangala. Lo consigliamo ma bisogna avere un po' di spirito di adattamento.

La posizione non è facilissima da trovare ma comunque vicina al centro (5 minuti di tuk tuk o 20 a piedi)

De eigenaren zijn heel erg lief! Als je een probleem hebt komen ze gelijk naar je toe, ook willen ze je overal naar toe brengen en zijn ze heel gastvrij!

Great hospitality

We had an amazing time at the tree house! The whole family took such good care of us and supported us with everything during our stay. They drove us everywhere with their TukTuk for very fair prices and gave us advice on what to do. They are the kindest people and we can highly recommend staying with them. The food was absolutely fantastic! Especially the home cooked dinner!

Very nice family owned homestay! Super nice people that made us feel so welcomed. The room was awesome (it being a tree house!) and it was a great experience. The homemade Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

My stay at Paradise Treehouse Sigiriya was truly wonderful. The place is enchanting, surrounded by lush nature, which makes it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, and the cleanliness is very good. However, the real highlight of this guesthouse is the warm hospitality of the family who runs it. Every member of the family contributed in their own way to making my stay special and memorable. They made me feel genuinely welcome from the very beginning. Another great aspect is the homemade food, which is absolutely delicious and prepared with care. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in nature combined with authentic and heartfelt hospitality.

Wij hebben 2 nachten overnacht in de boomhut. De boomhut is netjes onderhouden en uniek als ervaring. Wat een ontzettend lieve familie die alles voor je over heeft. De gastheer heeft ons overal naartoe gereden tijdens ons verblijf en de gastvrouw heeft een heerlijke maaltijd voor ons gekookt. Wij zouden deze locatie zeker aanraden bij iedereen!

On a été super bien accueilli dans cette famille qui vous proposera une chambre tout confort dans une cabane. Toute la famille est extrêmement sympa. Nos enfants ont même joué ensemble. Les repas étaient excellents et le logement est très bien situé.

Die Gastfamilie war wirklich super freundlich hier! Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet! Sehr praktisch, dass der Mann ein eigenes TukTuk hat, er hat uns überall hingefahren zu einem sehr fairen Preis und uns gute Orte empfohlen! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen weil wir uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Natürlich ist es in der Natur, also darf man sich über den ein oder anderen Käfer nicht aufregen.

We spent four wonderful nights in the company of Ramoli, Hironie and their family. They went out of their way to welcome us into their home from the very start and helped us organise our first few days in Sigiriya - safari, massage, trip to Polonnawura, cooking class and even driving us to our next destination. All the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka- truly exceptional cooking with all the specialities to try! We stayed in both the guest room and the tree house and both were very comfortable with mosquito nets. And a beautiful garden to sit in and relax, only about 15 / 20 mins walk from the centre

Assolutamente tutto! La casa sull’albero è iconica in un paesaggio incantato, circondata dalla natura e dal verde, bellissima! La famiglia è eccezionale, il signore ha un tuk tuk e può portarti ovunque tu voglia, escursioni o ristoranti vicini poiché La struttura si trova leggermente nella giungla, ma vicinissima alla strada principale… è stato tutto perfetto, ci tornerei altre mille volte <3

Dormire su una casa sull’albero é stata sicuramente un’esperienza interessante!! Totalmente immersa nella natura, potevi sentire e vedere tantissimi animali diversi! La famiglia molto gentile, ha preparato per noi delle colazioni tipiche e offrivano anche servizio tuktuk (utile perché la sera la strada per raggiungere la struttura non é illuminata e possono esserci animali lungo il tragitto), ottima posizione per esplorare le bellezze di Sigiriya!

La stanza ovviamente è molto rustica, noi ci siamo adattati bene ma ci sono insetti e la notte può essere parecchio rumorosa. La pulizia potrebbe essere più accurata, specialmente il bagno.

Location was fab for getting to areas of interest. The tree house is quirky but has the essentials that are needed. The family were very friendly and helpful. They gave us ideas on where to go as we were there for 4 nights. Spotted lots of wildlife from the balcony of the tree house.

Leaks in the bathroom pipe work leaving damp wood: results in a smell.

Abseits der Touristenpfade in der Natur gelegen, leckeres Frühstück mit Früchten und Omeletts, gut funktionierendes WLAN, sehr gutes Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis.

Leider hatten wir Flöhe im Bett, die hüpften und bissen. Frühstücksbereich und Zimmer unten am Haupthaus hätten sauberer sein können.

For the lover of nature it’s the perfect place. Tree house correctly manage in the middle of jungle, safe, peaceful and calm. The staff who are a family are very kind people, always here to make the stay joyful. They help me for all activities, transport and comfort. Une famille adorable, une cabane dans les arbres toute mignonne avec des petits-déjeuners et des dîners copieux et délicieux, le paradis quoi !!!!!!

Tolle Gastgeber, wir hatten ursprünglich nur 2 Nächte geplant haben dann aber eine Nacht verlängert weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Das Frühstück ist top und man geht nie hungrig vom Tisch weg. Die Hostfamilie is Super lieb und zuvorkommend, gibt einen tips und man kann sich gut unterhalten.

The tree house was well maintained and was clean. The host were very friendly and caring. We enjoyed our stay here. The last few meters to the property road is not suitable for cars, however the host offers to pick n drop in that case

So kind and always available, they give the best recommendations to make the most of your stay. Special mention to the delicious homemade rice and curry and the breakfast pancakes an absolute treat! Good value for the money! The family who run the place is so lovely and helpful, they have own tuktuk and they give good prices. Breakfast was different every morning and it was really good! :)

Consiglio a tutti questi posto, sarà un’esperienza magica. Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti nella casa sull’albero e sono stati i più belli di tutto il viaggio. La casa è immersa nel verde, sotto palme di cocco, a pochi minuti dal centro di Sigirya. Dotata di ogni confort, letti comodi, zanzariere, acqua calda nel bagno. Ma ciò che ha reso il soggiorno indimenticabile è stata l’ospitalità di Iruni, Sanju e di tutta la famiglia, le buonissime e giganti colazioni cucinate dalla mamma e la disponibilità del papà ad accompagnarci con il suo tuktuk in ogni posto. Non vi dimenticheremo mai ❤️

We had a great time at the Treehouse and can highly recommend it! The accomodation is really pretty (the garden, wow!) and with the windows open and the fan we slept like babies. You can easily walk to town, the nearby lake and Sigiriya. In the dark, be aware of elephants, but the host was so friendly to pick us up. The prices are super fair, for the room, the breakfast, and the tuctuc. All in all: we loved it and hope to come back one day!

Be aware that the accomodation is kind of in the jungle, so expect some bugs and frogs, but its nothing one cant handle :)

It was the best experience of the whole trip. The hosts were friendly and kind, and the owner took us on different tours in a tuk-tuk. I had a wonderful stay! The family is super lovely and made me feel very welcome from the start. I stayed in the tree house, which was such a unique and magical experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the location strikes the perfect balance—surrounded by nature, yet still quite central and convenient. One of my favorite moments was enjoying breakfast while playing with their adorable little toddler—such a cutie! Highly recommended for a peaceful and heartwarming experience.

Nice people, Calm Place and best Food !

A really cool and unique place to stay—literally a treehouse! It's quite basic but functional, which added to the charm. We absolutely loved sleeping here and listening to the rain at night—it was such a peaceful and special experience. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something different and close to nature.

We really like the family that live there, they are amazing, kind, available to help. The place is in the middle of the nature and the tree house is super. The food is really tasted and traditional. Wake up with the surrounded nature is like a paradise. Family who lives there is special!!

A lovely stay in a fantastic treehouse. A well-kept garden with beautiful flowers and fruit. Thanks to the mosquito net, we slept very well. The family was very welcoming and cooked us fantastic meals. The owner provided a tuk-tuk shuttle. Bike rentals nearby.

Fantastic place, well located with a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, nice comfy bed with fan, beautiful balcony, and best of all the food was incredible! Hariri and Kumari were so kind and fed us so well, we ate the best food here during an entire month we spent in Sri Lanka, don’t even bother trying to find dinner elsewhere, the best is here! We arrived later than expected due to some logistical issues, but the communication was amazing, and they arranged a tuktuk/taxi (their son Sanju) to pick us up from the bus stop in Dambulla; and still had dinner prepared for us despite our lateness. They also had the sweetest little kitty that we loved to cuddle with 😸

Water pressure would be off occasionally (I think through the night), but this wasn’t really a problem.

The owners of this accomodation are amazing, kind, helpful, and lovely people. We were greeted with a smile and fresh pot of coffee as soon as we arrived, the room was lovely, clean and the fan was enough to keep us cool through the night. Their food is home-grown, home-made and absolutely delicious! I absolutely recommend their place to anyone visiting Sigiriya!!

This is the prettiest place I have ever seen in my life. The garden is insanely beautiful and really looks like paradise. The family is so kind - definitely choose the dinner they offer you - it’s so good

Great location, close to Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock, many restaurants and shops nearby. Owner and his family are very nice and friendly, we felt like home during our stay. Local breakfasts were delicious and huge :)

When it rains it can be a little noisy to someone who has sleeping problems.

Very kind host, it was unusual experience to live in a tree house and we liked it! Delicious breakfast, very quiet and peaceful place, a little far away from the busy main road.

Probably our favourite experience of staying in Sri Lanka. The family who own this place are some of the kindest people we have ever met and they do everything they can to make your trip as good as it can be. The breakfast in the garden every day was lovely. The owner will take you everywhere you need to go on his tuk tuk. He even took us to our next location (4 hours away) for an extremely reasonable price

Location is bit backward to find out, need google help. Breakfast is basic with traditional Sri Lankan style.

Location is amazing in the Jungle Family owned Heartly welcomed by the Family Owner took care, organised Safari and made a private Tuk Tuk Tour with us for a reasonable price. Also his wife cooked traditional dinner for us (Not included in price, but thats completely ok) During night and day we saw and heard a lot of different animals. I would recommend the Tree House any time, especially for backpacker if you want to see the sri lankan Daily life.

It was a simple and rustic treehouse set further out of Sigiriya. It was quiet and lovely. The family where so lovely even giving us a coconut from their trees to drink when we first arrived. The breakfast provided was large and tasty keeping us full. The treehouse was fairly clean.

I think the images are fairly out of date as the property looks fairly worn and used. One of the mosquito nets had lots of holes in and we woke up quite bitten.

Our hosts were really nice. They invited us to their home and provided us one of the best meals we had during our trip.

We've had the most amazing stay here. The hosts are such warm and welcoming people. Absolutely recommended!

It was an outstanding experience. The treehouse is built with love and it is placed in the middle of palmtrees and plants. The family who owns the treehouse provided us with the warmest of welcome. They asked us If we want to have dinner with them and showed us how to cook. It was the best food we ever had in Sri Lanka and on top we had the most authentic cooking class with this beautiful family. Thank you so much for everything!

The host was super friendly and showed us around. He is a tuktuk driver and charges fair prices including many insider tips. The breakfast was super delicious and a big portion. They even brought a second breakfast, because it contained gluten and I am allergic. We would definetely come again!

This is a super nice place to stay with a calm environment. View is very beautiful and tree house,bathroom and balcony were super clean. Good hot water and wi-fi. Host Wimale has a good experience and knowledge about tourisum and the Sigiriya area. Host was always ready to help his guests. He has a tuk tuk and for his in-house guests can go with him to see the places what you want to see. very fair prices. Their food were amazing ...😍 organic vegetables from the garden..!! home made spices ...!! No words to tell about their breakfast , lunch & dinner 😍 Simply ...SUPERB..!!! Highly recommend this place and host ...!!!!
