Reviewed May 26, 2026La casa es tranquila y el entorno es encantador. El pueblo es bonito y tiene opciones de compras y restauracion a unos 10 minutos. La anfitriona, Roxane, es muy amable, dejó 3 toallas por persona. El baño es amplio, la ducha va perfecta. Dejó amenities varios, incluyendo pasta de dientes, desodorante, etc. En la cocina tes y café para todos los días. Tiene espejo de cuerpo entero. Las ventanas del techo permiten ver las estrellas.
Por contra está lejos de Amsterdam, un paseo largo a estación de tren y la vuelta estás condicionado con los horarios de los trenes, aunque ya lo sabíamos es algo a valorar. La cama se hunde un poco en el centro y las almohadas no son de viscoelástica y mis cervicales sufrieron un poco. Eché de menos un pequeño sofá, pero no cabe porque es pequeñita. No supimos abrir las ventanas, pero imagino que es posible hacerlo.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026L’ambiente interno ed esterno. La cura della proprietaria nel dotare l’alloggio di tutti i confort. Il letto comodissimo che consente di recuperare al meglio
L’unica nota di demerito sta nella distanza con la stazione di Zaandam, è a 20min a piedi o altrimenti c’è un autobus ma bisogna stare attenti agli orari. Per il resto tutto veramente bello

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Ein wundervoller Ort an nem kleinen Kanal gelegen. Superschöne kleine Unterkunft mit allem drum und dran. Eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin mit viel Charme. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Ich komme wieder!!
Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind schwierig, dass liegt aber eher an der Lage des Grundstücks und den kleinen engen Gassen. Das ist aber Meckern auf ganz hohem Niveau. Mir sind sonst absolut keine Mängel aufgefallen.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2025Quirky little hideaway, situated down a quiet canal path. The property is characterful outside and in: the kitchen is very sweet, quaintly decorated with an efficient little oven, seating area and fridge. Very nice modern downstairs bathroom. Spiral stairs lead up to the loft-style bedroom which has velux windows. A few minutes walk from a decent supermarket and only 15-20 minutes walk into Zaandam centre. Very comfortable, large bed :-).
Getting off the drive and across the very narrow bridge was a little hair-raising at first! Low head-room on the stairs caught us out a few times and due to my creaky (old!) knees, I found the spiral stairs challenging after a long day out.

Reviewed May 19, 2025The location it's very nice, one of the best streets in Zaandam I think. The house has everything you need, a small kitchen a bathroom and the bed upstairs.
I would suggest changing the mattress of the bed since it's not that firm anymore and let's say this would improve the sleep of the guests.

limited cooking facilities , could use a washing machine and clothes dry rack for travellers. spiral stairs to bedroom a bit tricky. would love a TV
