Best Neighbourhood Apartment

Great spot for couples, both rooms are equal in size with a nice view in both. Two bathrooms and a small lounging area - despite really enjoying our view from our bed. We got to do some washing and have an espresso before exploring the city. We absolutely enjoyed staying here. The reviews aren’t very accurate and should be 10/10 as we had a very clean apartment, great facilities and a comfortable bed. Thanks Roberto!

La ubicacion. A 2 minutos andando de la Central Station y de todo el centro. La atención de Roberto a la llegada muy bien. Tuvimos suerte que el anterior huésped salió antes y pudimos entrar a las 14.00 Si bien el previo a llegar no contestaron a nuestros sms y tuve que contactar con Booking para confirmar que todo era ok. Pero una vez allí en todo momento atento a nuestras llamadas y sms.

Las escaleras de caracol internas que tiene. Son dos plantas y tanto para subir a la primera como a la segunda tiene escaleras de caracol. Tampoco tenía mucho menaje, pero alrededor gran variedad de bares y restaurantes para poder disfrutar de la gastronomía de Amsterdam. Pero si lo que quieres es aprovechar el apartamento para comer en el tiene muy poco menaje.

Location was excellent

The property is not fully set up for 4 people to stay. Only 2 large coffee cups @ wine glasses. One of the pans not suitable to use on induction cooktop. No bath mats. No tea towel to wipe up dirty dishes. No small teaspoons.

La ubicación es excelente si quieres estar en el centro de Ámsterdam. Está a 5 minutos de la estación central y la zona turística. También a 25 minutos caminando de la zona de museos, que se hace bastante ameno y agradable. La sorpresa de que nos recibieran en español y la disposición general para cualquier cosa.

No me gustó que los servicios de recogida de basura son bastante ruidosos de madrugada y actúan varias veces. Eso interrumpió el sueño dos noches de las cuatro que estuve. Es comprensible por el tipo de contenedores que tienen y la proximidad con las ventanas, pero no dejaba de ser molesto. Podía contar con más servicio de toallas en general, sin tener que pedirlas. Por ejemplo, toallas para el suelo de ducha en ambos cuarto de baño.

Roberto ci ha accolto di persona e durante tutto il soggiorno era disponibile ad aiutarci e a darci informazioni.e’ stato super disponibile.inoltre ci ha fornito un seggiolone nuovo in quanto viaggiavamo con un neonato. Non abbiamo mai incontrato host così gentili e pronti ad aiutarti.

1. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. 2. Pokoje zlokalizowane na różnych piętrach co dla grupy znajomych jest komfortowe. 3. Apartament jest przestronny. 4. Bezproblemowy check in ( właściciel umożliwił szybsze zameldowanie)

1. Brak możliwości pozostawienia bagaży po wymeldowaniu 2. Brak klimatyzacji ( są tylko mało wydajne urządzenia chłodzące 3. Można trochę popracować nad czystością. 4. Ostatniego dnia pobytu rozpoczął się remont ( budowlańcy przy samych oknach) co odebrało prywatność. 5. Te wady wypisuję bioràc pod uwagę, iż nocleg nie jest najtańszy więc i oczekiwania są odmienne od tych przy budżetowych lokalach.

Prima di tutto ci è piaciuta l’accoglienza e la disponibilità dell’host Roberto. Appartamento pulito, confortevole, situato in posizione strategica per raggiungere comodamente tutte le principali zone attrattive della città, sia a piedi o eventualmente con i mezzi pubblici.

La ubicación era lo mejor para mi del Alojamiento.

Considero que, por el precio que se paga por noche, deberían ofrecerse al menos algunos elementos básicos de menaje de cocina para poder cocinar en condiciones. Por ejemplo, faltaban utensilios esenciales y únicamente había dos copas y dos tazas para un alojamiento preparado para cuatro personas. Además, pasamos bastante calor durante la estancia, ya que el sistema de aire acondicionado no parecía estar bien instalado: en ocasiones expulsaba aire frío y caliente al mismo tiempo. Por otro lado, al abrir las ventanas para ventilar, el ruido de la calle era bastante molesto. A pesar de estos inconvenientes, conseguimos descansar y disfrutar de los dos días y medio que pasamos allí.

It was an excellent location, near tram and main station

It was super hot and the AC didn’t work. Owner did replace the unit but it needed an outside vent so it didn’t help.

After accepting my booking and taken full payment both the apartment owner and booking.com stopped responding to my messages and attempts at contact. I arrived in Amsterdam and took it upon myself to call the owner as the app gave me his phone number BECAUSE I HAD A BOOKING. Owner wasn’t interested, said he already had people staying and to call booking.com. I spent 2 hours on the phone to booking.com they blamed the owner, he blamed them. Either way, admitted it wasn’t my fault at all but that they could do nothing to help. Refused to let me speak to a colleague who could as I was now in another country with nowhere to stay. I had to sort other accommodation myself and find the funds as my refund for this property would take 10 days. Given an email to report a complaint to and again booking.com continue to ignore my request to have my complaint responded to and have not bothered to respond to my messages at all. BUT are sending me daily emails to rate this apartment so here it is and maybe someone will actually respond to me now.

The property was dirty (the towels had stains on them) , one of the electrical points was exposed with wires showing, the toilet seats came away, the staircases were very steep (this was not described)

The location was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we wanted to see during our stay. The host, Roberto, was awesome about letting us drop off our luggage early and even took all of it up the stairs to the apartment for us. It's a great setup for two couples since we each had our own apartment space. The convenience of the coffee machine with pods was appreciated.

Please take the warnings about the staircase seriously. We found many staircases in Amsterdam to be challenging but the one in these apartments is not to be taken lightly especially when navigating the stairs with suitcases (and ours were smaller carryon sizes). The units could use some new linens and please add some hand towels for the kitchen area.

The location was very convenient. Close to all the sights and tram stop was right out front to take you to further locations.

It was typically Dutch with very steep steps and the two bedrooms were in several floors. I would have liked to have a common space to gather and I didn’t realize that was hard to come by in Amsterdam.

Photos not realistic. Very steep, narrow stairs, no handrail to 2nd level. Perhaps ok for hand luggage only but impossible to take suitcases up the stairs safely. We went & found other accommodation nearby.

The property was very clean, at great location and the host was very nice and helpful. There are two floors and bathrooms at each.

Location was fab, Roberta the owner was very welcoming and pleasant. The apartment was so nice and clean.

The location of the apartment is excellent, just two minutes away from Amsterdam Central Station, which makes getting around the city very convenient. The apartment was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. In addition, the host was very kind and offered us great flexibility with luggage storage.

Location was the only good thing.

1. Front door was really old & the lock was extremely difficult to open. At 11pm, we were always struggling to enter the apartment. 2. Heating was not on, when we checked in. We had to ask the host to turn it on & he kept it really low. Overall, we were cold in the apartment. 3. The water in the shower was luke warm, not at all hot. Again, we told the host to turn up the water heater. This was really annoying for us. 4. No toiletries (no shampoo, no conditioner) were provided in the apartment. 5. Only 3 (extremely old & tattered) towels were provided, for 3 guests, in a 2-bedroom apartment. 6. On our check-out day, our train was at 6 pm. Since check-out was at 11am, we asked our host if we could leave our bags at the apartment in his office & come collect it at 5pm. He said that we could only leave it until 2pm. Since we were going to Zaanse Schans which is about 1 hour away, we ended up leaving our bags at the train station, in lockers, which of course was an added expense. Generally, hosts at Air BnB's let you leave your luggage, so this was definitely a let-down. We were 3 friends that rented this Air BnB. We all have traveled & stayed at multiple Air BnB's & this was definitely a disappointment. The one & only good thing about this apartment was its location.

Le ménage n’était pas bien fait. Attention à la configuration de cette location qui ne peut pas convenir pour des enfants en bas âge ou des seniors en raison d’escaliers trop pentus

Als je aan kom lijkt het bijna wel een kraak pand,oude gordijnen ,(schoonmaak) spuit voor het raam, Badkamer kastje wat helemaal uit elkaar valt,waar het bankstel staat wil je niet een avondje vertoeven

Снимките са изключително подвеждащи. Направо си бяхме в кулата на Рапунцел. Стълбите между етежите са тесни като коридор, с супер плитки и високи стъпала, който за бонус и завиват...

The property is located very centrally.

Although we contacted the property earlier in the day to confirm our arrival time, when we arrived, the property had been given to another family — without even checking the tenant’s name or ID. The family who received the keys actually had a reservation for 2026. We had to wait for an hour in the rain until the owner resolved the issue. When we finally got access to our reserved property, we found that the bathroom had already been used, and the towels were not fresh. The owner offered a refund as compensation for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, we have not received any refund or any response to our follow-up messages.

Demoras en contestar, las indicaciones para ingreso llegaron en forma tardía, la calefacción no funcionaba, la ropa de cama era insuficiente por lo que la primer noche hasta que al otro día llegó el abrigo pasamos frío y dormimos mal, teniendo en cuenta que estabamos con un niño. La vajilla es insuficiente, solo 2 vasos, 3 tazas, pocos platos, pocos utensilios de cocina. Hay un lavarropas pero no donde tenderla, la distribución del mobiliario es mala y te obliga a subir y bajar para comer, desayunar, etc. Las almohadas, es hora de cambiarlas, las fotografías no demuestran lo que realmente es.

Eingang nicht leicht zu finden, da an der Hausnummer kein Hinweis auf das Apartment, sondern auf ein nahegelegenes zu finden war. Kleinere Defekte (Lose WC Deckel, Unterbettklappen, Fenster etc), aber Preis und Lage machen das für 1-2 Nächte wett. Ansonsten alles super!

Very nice place to stay in ams. Super clean and modern, in a very strategic location. Highly recommended.

The property is close to Centraal station, so it’s very easy to get there.

- The property was not as advertised, there were two extra rooms leading to each bathroom, which are not in the photos. The host told us they were not advertised during check-in, which felt suspicious. - One of the bathrooms had a locked door which we were unsure where it lead to. This (and the two extra rooms) is a detail that should be disclosed in the listing because, like us, some people can be concerned (we were two couples staying in the flat). - The downstairs door to the lobby doesn’t have a lock, which didn’t make us feel safe. - The Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. But the bedrooms were dirty - there were stains and hair on the sheets, marks on the walls, the floors were dirty (sticky stains, dust, and dirt), the rooms smelled like smoke and we found insects on the bed frame. The towels were also unclean and stained. - Because of the location, it is very noisy (tram stop directly below) and the thin windows hardly insulated that noise. Avoid if you’re a light sleeper. - The stairs are very steep so this apartment isn’t for people who have mobility issues - The flat is cold (likely from the thin windows) Because of these points (especially points 1-3), We booked another place after one night because we wanted to get out of there. We would’ve left earlier but had to stay for one night as it was too late to find another accommodation with the plans we had booked on the day we checked in (gig tickets). All in all, this apartment is not worth the money and we felt very misled. We’re very surprised it’s so highly rated - it really soured the first part of our trip. We think other people should know these details, especially the aspects the listing does not mention (points 1-3). My advice to the host is to be more transparent about the listing (e.g. two extra rooms, doors in the bathroom), properly clean the bedrooms and have a lock for the downstairs door for our privacy and safety…

Perfect location for a stay in Amsterdam. The host communicated well and the rooms were very clean! I loved the decoration and the attention to detail with added toiletries! 10/10 would stay again.

Stairs are a bit narrow for those traveling with large suitcases, but it wasn't a problem for us.

wifi connection need some improvement

The only thing that was partly my fault was I didn’t double check whether there was wifi. So for anyone booking, just keep this in mind!! But otherwise it was such a nice stay and the location was ideal!

Stairs up to the property are extremely steep! A bit difficult with big suitcases but whilst staying in Amsterdam you shouldn't be too surprised by this. A bit noisy with the tram stop right outside the apartment but again, staying in central Amsterdam - this can be expected. The only thing we didn't really like was that the 'main' door up to the apartment doesn't have a lock so privacy felt a little bit diminished.

Very steep steps - you need to be steady on your feet! Communication from host before arrival was poor - no access instructions received so we had to wait. Also had to ask for WiFi code - could have been displayed in apartment.
