En réservant cette villa, c’était dit avec la piscine privée !!! Nous avons chercher la piscine inexistante !! Encore aujourd’hui nous avons trouvé votre annonce avec piscine privée !! Il n’existe pas votre piscine …. Encore une fois je constate que Booking ne visite pas les lieux qu’il propose.

Uns hat wirklich alles sehr gut gefallen. Besonders die wunderschöne Lage, die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und die gemütlichen Möbel haben uns begeistert. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, sauber und einladend. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt.

Es gab für uns nichts zu beanstanden. Alles war top und hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen.

View of the lake, easy check in , easy check out

Het huis heeft een mooi balkon en mooi uitzicht over het meer van Genève. De ligging ten opzichte van het centrum is prima, al ligt Montreux natuurlijk wel tegen een helling...

Het huis was kleiner dan verwacht. We waren met 4 personen en dan is het op zich prima. Maar je kunt ook met 6-8 personen in het huis en dan is het wel klein. Er staan bijvoorbeeld maar 5 stoelen aan de eetkamertafel. De tweede badkamer is niet gefotografeerd en bij aankomst is duidelijk waarom. Het is een smal gangetje met een paarse badkuip in de grond, half onder de trap. Er waren wat zaken defect, zoals de droger, voor ons best wel cruciaal. Helaas heeft de eigenaar gedurende ons verblijf totaal niet gereageerd op Whatsapp, op mails en ook niet via Booking.com. Het (opblaas) zwembad was half leeg, er stond maar een kleine laag water in en hij was vuil. De tuin is groot, maar bestaat voor 90% uit stukken kunstgrasmat.

Die Lage oberhalb des Sees wurde mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick honoriert, auch wenn man zu Fuß 15-20 Minuten bis zum See gebraucht hat. Zudem war es herrlich ruhig, weder gab es Verkehrslärm noch sonstige Geräusche.

Die Ausführung kleiner Reparaturarbeiten wie lose Fußleisten und der Ersatz des Holzeinsatzes über der Eingangstür würden das Gesamtbild perfektionieren.

A nice family Villa with plenty of space and fabulous views of the lake. It was up a steep hill from the town centre with few shops/restaurants nearby.

The villa was advertised with a pool. This was a joke as the 'Pool' was a glorified kids plastic paddling pool that was dirty and almost empty with no instruction on filling and located in a small shed in adjacent property. Considering we had cycled all day along the Rhône it was disappointing not to be able to jump in the pool on a very hot day. This misrepresentation should be taken from the Booking.com com site.

Lovely Villa for family stay

We happened to be there on heatwave so sleeping was hard with no proper air conditioning.

bit of a climb up from beach, but we warned of this in advance. also somewhere along the line we were expecting a hot tub in garden, must have been an old photo on the website site as there was none.

The location is quite far from the center and less convenient than expected. The jacuzzi, which was one of the main reasons we booked this villa, was not working during our stay. We contacted support immediately and were told to try troubleshooting it ourselves, but nobody came to fix it. In addition, it was impossible to use the upstairs shower because the drain was blocked and water leaked everywhere onto the bathroom floor. There is also no air conditioning in the villa. During our stay, it was extremely hot inside, and although there were fans available, they were not sufficient to cool the property and made sleeping uncomfortable. I also requested compensation because of these issues, but my messages were completely ignored. It is very disappointing to pay for amenities that are advertised but unavailable or unusable.

Wir haben die 3 Studios nicht übernommen, weil einerseits ist es nicht abgemacht gewesen ist, dass ein Studio 300 Meter entfernt ist, wo doch 2 kleine Kinder dabei sind, dass ist so nicht akzeptabel. Zusätzlich haben wir es stark empfunden, dass die Studios und das ganze Haus unsauber sind und auch stark riechen. Deshalb haben wir die Studios nicht übernommen. Wir bitten sie die Kaution über 500 Franken sowie auch die  vorausgeleistete Zahlung für die Studios umgehend zurück zu erstatten.

There’s a steep slope up the location before u find the house. With luggages, it’s quite hard.

Loved the location and the view. The beds were comfortable, & the upstairs bathroom was very nice.

The guest instruction book should be front and center when you come in and say read me first -we spent 30 min looking for washer and dryer. Then messaged asking for location which wasn’t answered for 3 hours. The living and kitchen area could use to be redone. The kitchen should be better organized with the basics such as olive oil salt and pepper and extra paper towels and baggies or containers for leftovers -I know this sounds small but to travelers this is something small that goes a long way. The kitchen felt chaotic. Also the rugs need to be replaced or cleaned they gave the property dirty feel. As well as the furniture and pillows in the living space. It cheapened the feel and it was a gorgeous property with the best views -just needs a bit of refresh in these two rooms.

Le cadre est merveilleux , l’établissement très jolie et comfortable. Le personnel est adorable et se plie en 4 pour nous rendre service . Un petit dej incroyable ! Vraiment emballé

The view is stunning! If you travel as a group it is a much better option to stay in this villa rather than a hotel. Fully equipped kitchen, a dishwasher and a washing machine outside of the villa in the common area. 3 bedrooms, comfortable beds. 15 min walk to the railway station but very uphill.

While there are 2 toilets on each floor, the shower is factually only one (the one on the ground floor can hardly be used, uncomfortably placed). The door in the main bathroom is very noisy (old?) so everyone on the upper floor is awake if somebody is using a toilet at night. The staircase is not very convenient for elderly and kids, no railings. The host is not very responsive: we were struggling to find a washing machine as it is outside and this is not mentioned in any instruction, and the host never responded to my text.

Alles war äußerst Sauber. Die Küche hervorragend bestückt. Die Sicht auf den See zum Träumen. Sehr bequeme Betten. Top Swisscom TV mit qualitativ hochwertigem Grossbildschirm. Schnell im Zentrum und doch ruhig gelegen.

Isolation? Ich könnte mir vorstellen dass es schwierig ist eine konstante Raumtemperatur zu haben.

The proximity to downtown Montreux was perfect, the views were stunning, the house itself was beautiful and well kept, the neighborhood was charming.

The property is not properly maintained. Broken chair and door knobs. The second bathroom is very inconvenient and the toilet not properly flushing. The rubber hot tub outside was not working and very difficult to get to. Car parking space is very challenging and difficult to exit into the street. The villa is not conveniently located to downtown for walking.

Beautiful villa with a great view on the lake. Has everything travelers may need for a restful time. Comfortable and clean house.

The upstairs bathroom door is too loud and squeaky when opening.

The house is very nice and overall clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The view over the lake is absolutely amazing. The balcony is the perfect location to enjoy an evening drink and a breathtaking view.

The upstairs bedrooms get quite hot when the outdoor temperature goes over 28-30C. The ventilators in each room are not super unhelpful, though appreciated. The cheapest/easiest solution would be simply to have some blinders on the outside of the windows, to prevent sunlight from hitting the windows at all. The thick curtains block the light, but have no effect in preventing heat, which builds up strongly when the sun hits the glass directly. There are several vacuum cleaners in the house - we only tried the handheld one, which seemed to "spit out" dirt rather than sucking it and only lasted for 1-2mins before the battery died. We suggest to remove it, as the normal ones are likely much better.

The property listing (and photos at the time) showed an outdoor pool when we booked. It was the main reason we booked. There is no outdoor pool so this should be removed from the listed amenities.

it is one of the better accommodation options to choose from. fantastic views, convenient location based on a walking distance to the village, brilliant host and well organised space for a family.

They falsely advertised that the property had a swimming pool and it was the main reason why I booked it. My kids were disappointed and we didn’t get what we were lead to believe we were getting.

The view beyond the property was amazing! The host took great care of us and offered a bottle of wine/champagne as a gift. The house was charming and had great character.

The door wasn't working in the guest room which would have been nice to let in some breeze.

The woes are to die for. Parking was a plus and the house is very clean and well maintained.

The house does not have a pool as is prescribed in the booking.com. The other thing is the house is very hot no a/c in the house.

Terrible experience with the host. They did not give us the code to the lock box until 2 hours after check in and would not answer the phone when we tried to contact him. The pool is not in operation despite the listing showing it and we contacted them well in advance to ask if it was and were told to ask on the day, when we got there they said its not open till June so was never going to be open during our stay in May, the pool was the reason we chose this place and the fact that is was never going to be open is unacceptable. When we finally got into the property the blinds in the 3rd bedroom were broken making the room unusable for sleep, the host said they were not aware of this and that they would send someone the next day to fix it but no one came and no further contact from the host. When we got home we checked the previous reviews who said the same thing so they were aware and did not fix the issue before we got there. Had we known it was not going to be fixed we would have made other arrangements! We were then offered a refund of 150CHF which still has not been paid and I don't expect it ever will as with everything else the host has been dishonest. A real shame!

We had to cancel this reservation. We showed up a few hours earlier than check in but we had not been given the code, there was no place to leave our bags and the host did not respond to us for over 45 mins. We were standing outside on the side of the road with our children and all our luggage. The location is far away from the town and train. We had to uber there and back (I would not recommend if you want to walk to everything ) We only had one full day to spend in the area and could not waste it waiting to drop our bags. We booked a lovely hotel right on the water and that was close to everything and a much better fit for us. We received zero refund or understanding from the host.

Room was great, views spectacular.

It was a long walk up the hill from the train station! We didn’t realise quite how steep Montreux is.

The villa was spacious and had everything we needed.

The location of the parking space is slightly awkward and can be a hassle for large SUVs/MPVs. But this is not a big deal for normal sized cars

Beautiful Villa overlooking the Lake Geneva. Great and kind host whom reply your message and queries instantly. Everything was perfect. My boys enjoyed especially there’s PS5. A short drive to Chillon Castle and to the town. Beautiful Montreux 😍

Smell of smoke in master bedroom. Downstairs bathroom weird style/design with unusual bathtub set below ground level.

We lived the location with stunning view and the handy parking right outside. The house had lots of beds, was clean and cosy.

The window coverings let through a lot of light, and one window on the children’s room had no covering at all. No sleeping in!

The shower seemed to be blocked and therefore flooded the bathroom. The towels weren’t of very good quality having to make our own bed which was a double with two single quilts

The pool was empty on arrival, which was a huge disappointment as this was the main reason we booked this place. I would have preferred the owner to give advance notice about the pool needing to be emptied and cleaned prior to our arrival, but instead, we arrived after a long flight hoping to jump into the pool and freshen up, only to find it empty. The pictures of the pool are very deceiving. It is an above ground with no surrounding deck. The only place to lounge is on a patio in front of another resident's windows. The main shower upstairs was also being repaired and was not operational.

Strongly recommend this villa. It has a Great Lake view, nice decoration, well setup for checkin and friendly welcoming. Thanks for the hospitality and wish to come back again.

The washer/dryer did not work well. It would be helpful to have the instructions in a couple of languages. We were unable to get the dryer to work and had to travel with wet clothes. Other than that, the stay was wonderful and we LOVED the location!

The view is spectacular, really enjoyed watching the sunset/sunrise with from the living room and balcony. It was absolutely perfect 🤍🤩

Comfortable apartment with the view of the lake Geneva was fabulous. Quiet location and comfortable apartment, It was reasonable walking distance from the lake and the shops and restaurant.

We only stayed one night and would have loved to have stayed a bit longer at Montreaux. Property is at the top of the hill, which brings the fantastic view of the lake, if you have large luggage, you need to book a taxi to/from the train station. Without the luggage it is a comfortable walking distance from the central district.

Location was fantastic, and the property beautiful. Had everything we needed within the property, as well as a beautiful view from the Villa - a truly memorable stay. The perfect location to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The property wasn't suitable for 6 people, simply because the duvet in one of the rooms was a single rather than a double, meaning for an uncomfortable night's sleep for me and my partner. We also recveived smaller towels in our room. Double duvet provided in other room, and single duvets on single beds, as to be expected.

The Villa is really cute. We were a family of 4 and it was very comfortable with 2 bathrooms. The views of the lake are lovely. They have a PS2 so kids had a great time.

You need to have a car as Bus stop is 350 m feom the villa.
