La gentillesse du personnel, la propreté et la literie. L’emplacement dans le centre proche de tout. La chambre avec fenêtre.

Bruyant toute la soirée 5 jours sur 6 avec le temple indien juste à coté. Des guest très bruyants malgré les panneaux disant de respecter. Les sanitaires très proches des chambres, L’impasse où donne la chambre, repaire des alcoolos du quartier qui viennent boire,se disputer, parler très fort et uriner tout au long de la journée.

Eugene è veramente gentile e disponibile! La struttura è vicinissima al centro storico,si raggiunge velocemente a piedi. Camera pulita e spaziosa, molto gradevole il terrazzo, possibilità di usufruire gratuitamente della lavatrice, a disposizione anche the, caffè e dispenser dell'acqua. Consigliato!!

Gem of a place to stay. Perfect location - totally central but on a quiet, residential street. Only a 5 minute walk from Little India and street art. Has two free (!!!) washing machines and detergent on a spacious and sunny deck. Great for backpackers like us. Has free hot and filtered cold water, tea and coffee, and a fridge. Check in was easy (they came to meet us) and communication was great. The room is small, but it’s cosy, clean, and comparable. 10/10.

C'est une super guesthouse très bien située. Les espaces communs sont chaleureux et bien équipés (machine à laver (gratuit), petite bibliothèque, fontaine à eau avec café et thé en libre service, évier et vaiselle, terrasse). Les chambres et les espaces communs étaient très propres, et la déco est très sympa (peintures murales). Les différentes personnes qui nous ont accueilli étaient très sympas :) Nous recommandons cet endroit, c'était vraiment très agréable d'y séjourner ! :) Encore merci !

La habitación es muy pequeña, no tiene mesita, ni enchufe al lado de la mesa, no tiene sábanas.

Washing machine was very handy for travellers and was in a great location. Reception staff was friendly and reachable via whatsapp. Fridge and cold water available at all times

El alojamiento está muy bien situado para explorar la ciudad a pié. Tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para pasar cómodamente una semana en él (habitación amplia y limpia, aire acondicionado, buen wifi, pequeña cocina con una nevera, microondas, dispensador de agua para rellenar tu botella, té y café gratis y lo mejor de todo, una lavadora que puedes usar cuando lo necesites). La lavadora es un plus si llevas tiempo viajando por el país. El personal que nos atendió es muy amable, lo que hizo la estancia aún mejor. Super recomendable. Sin duda volvería a repetir.

Auch bei unserem zweiten Aufenthalt war hier alles perfekt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und praktisch, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Küche sauber und gut ausgestattet, die Terasse gemütlich und die Waschmaschine darf gratis benutzt werden. Das Bad stinkt NICHT und die Dusche ist heiss.

Sunshine House was a great place to stay during my time in Penang. I arrived much later than expected because of the traffic, but the hosts were very accommodating and made the late check-in process quick and hassle-free. The location couldn't have been more convenient. Chulia Street Night Market is only a short walk away, and many of George Town's must-visit spots are within 5 to 15 minutes on foot. It made exploring the city easy without constantly needing to book a ride. One thing I always appreciate when traveling is having access to a washing machine. I like doing laundry before moving on to my next destination so my clothes stay fresh and my luggage doesn't end up smelling. And Sunshine House had that covered. What stood out most was how comfortable and hassle-free the entire stay felt. Everything I needed was within easy reach, and the thoughtful touches made it feel more like staying at a home than just another place to sleep.

Su ubicación es inmejorable y a pesar de ser un sitio bastante pequeño y cutrecillo, estaba muy limpio, es de agradecer Además podías poner una lavadora y tender en la terraza gratis

Nos hicieron esperar 25 min en el hall hasta q hicieron el check in porque no había nadie para atendernos a pesar de haber escrito previamente cuando llegábamos y que era un poco cutre pero nada más allá

Sunshine House is a very well-run place with helpful managers. I liked its central location, as well. It is also relatively quiet being in a side street.

I wish the bed linen were made of cotton and the room had a small bed table lamp, not only the two sharp ceiling lights. But not a biggie, I still liked my stay and would happily return.

Me ha gustado mucho lo bien que estaba organizado, todo pensado para descansar, calentar la comida o guardar lo que sobró en la nevera, se podía lavar la ropa y secarla en la terraza, un 10/10, muy recomendable

This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The real game changers are free access to a washing machine with complimentary detergent, a fridge to store food, and hot water for tea or coffee, which you can enjoy on the roof terrace. I also really appreciated the little things: a plug next to the bed with a small table, a softer evening light, a small desk, and a mirror. The location is excellent, and the place is quiet. I also never had to wait to use the shared bathroom, which was right next to my room.

A very minor issue: Check-in coordination may require some communication in advance, even if it's within regular check in hours.

一如乔治城大多数的老房子，隔音不好，有时可以听到其他住客上下楼梯和关门冲厕所的声音。 靠近小印度，有几个印度人晚上喜欢在附近聊天，平时还好，但是周五晚上附近街道的印度人可能会狂欢，大声外放音乐到半夜扰民。

Host was amazing and very helpful. The room is big and comfortable. The rooftop common area is a nice place to have a coffee or cigarette and do your laundry for free. Overall, a great location and a great host and a perfect place to lodge while you're in amazing George Town.

In my room, there were electric outlets in every corner EXCEPT the one where the desk is located, lol. I had to move the desk to get any work done on my laptop. This is a very small issue, and it's workable, so it definitely should NOT keep you from staying here.

Très bon accueil avec pleins de petits conseils afin de visiter l'île de penang et la ville de georgetown et rien que çà... cela fait toute la différence. Très bon emplacement à quelques pas des lieux de visite du centre. Lit confortable et partie commune très propre. Thé, café, eau à disposition et petit bonus, rooftop avec machines à laver. Allez à sunshine house sans hésitation, même avec les chambres aveugles.

Lo que menos me gustó fue que la ducha estaba dentro del propio baño. Pero como estaba todo tan limpio realmente no fue un problema.

Le personnel sympathique. L'accès à de l'eau potable, réfrigérateur, la terrasse avec machine à laver ❤️ permet d'étendre le linge facilement. La climatisation. L'emplacement. Douche chaude. Pas de bruit.

Alargué mi estancia y por falta de disponibilidad tuve que quedarme una noche en una habitación con baño compartido. En general, no hubo problemas de limpieza.

La habitación es bastante pequeña y no tiene ventana.

Nette Atmosphäre, sehr freundliche Inhaber und Mitarbeiter, tip -top sauber, schöne Dachterrasse, gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile, Kaffee und Tee umsonst, 2 Waschmaschinen zur freien Benutzung. Sehr zentral gelegen. Wir konnten am letzten Tag (obwohl wir schon ausgecheckt hatten) unser Gepäck deponieren und sogar noch einmal die Duschen benutzen. Vielen Dank!

Zimmer sind schon ziemlich klein, aber die Dachterrasse macht das auf jeden Fall wieder wett.

Struttura pulitissima, accogliente, staff super gentile, una bella cucina ed una terrazza a disposizione. The, caffè, acqua free. Sono stati talmente gentili di con sentirci l'uso della lavatrice gratis e messo a disposizione le docce ed asciugamani prima di partire. Super consigliato!!

Perfect location, a <5 min walk from the main area. The room was very simple. A box with a bed basically. But it held us alright for 4 nights. Shared kitchen area (sink, microwave, water dispenser, fridge). I’d definitely recommend!!

Great location in the centre of town with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are small but functional with good AC and very comfortable beds. Everywhere is clean & secure. Small kitchen area with fridge & drinks dispenser is very handy as is the free use of a washing machine. Nice rooftop terrace & ground floor areas for relaxing in.

We had a great stay, the room was spacious, clean and bright. (we had two windows!) No issues with the shared bathrooms, hardly needed to wait and they were cleaned regularly. The kitchen area was very handy to refill filtered water, there was a fridge, hot water and microwave too. Great location on a quiet side street, short walking distance to the main attractions. The rooftop is a nice place to sit and the free use of the washing machine was excellent. We would stay here again.

The hostel is well-located, a 10 minute walk from the ferry and close to bus stops and most of the main sights. Although rooms are small & mostly windowless, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms quiet & the AC works well. I slept very well. Bathrooms are clean & have good showers. The small kitchen has a fridge, microwave & a water dispenser. There is an upstairs terrace with free use of washing machines. Both the owner & cleaner are friendly & approachable and will help sort out any problems you may have. I will be returning. Highly recommended.

Is a comfortable stay. I booked the room with attached toilet and was glad to have a comfortable stay. Sunshine House is away from the main road and ensure quietness. Although the basin was leaking in the toilet, it was repaired almost immediately after feedback. The only thing that I hope can be improved is to provide a kettle in the room. I can therefore boil my beverage anytime instead of going to the pantry climbing the steps up and down. Feeling rather uncomfortable to hold hot liquid in my hand while climbing up the steps. It spilled and scalded my hand while doing so. Feel bad to wet the floor as well.
