Reviewed Sep 5, 2026The hotel is in a perfect location next to the river and a few minutes walk from the main train station. The staff is friendly and were accomodating to our special requests. The breakfast was also very nice. There was a nice view of the matterhorn from the balcony along with the sound of the river! The hotel reception closes at 9pm but the key system works perfectly. Overall a great value stay in Zermatt.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Conveniently located less than ten minutes walk from the train station, the hotel overlooks the (channelized) river. The staff was professional, helpful, and gracious. The breakfast was good and ready to go without delay. It’s a five minute walk to the central shopping area. We were pleased with our decision to stay there.
Other than a narrow staircase to the second floor to bring your suitcase, no criticism. It’s a good choice.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026何よりも、部屋からのマッターホルンの眺めは最高でした。朝晩、ベランダで、マッターホルンを眺めながら、時を過ごしました。 スイス鉄道、登山鉄道駅からも近く、スネガ方面への乗り場、村内バス乗り場は目の前と、大変便利な立地でした。
あえて言えば、エレベーターが無く、荷物を3階まで運び上げることです。

Our room was on the 4th floor so it’s a shame there isn’t a lift although we were aware before arrival. It would also be nice to have a refrigerator in the room.

Pas télé en Français (on dit écran plat un vieux poste de 30 ans)nous sommes pas à Zermatt pour la télé mais finale de tennis la réceptionniste est venue règler dit que c'est réglé mais vous n'avez pas de son!!!! Équipement sommaire mème pas un petit frigo pour l'eau-juste propre pas acceuillant du tout pour le prix mème pas le petit déjeuner si on veut faire part de notre mécontentement on nous répond bonne journée pas d'ascenseur

Bad war nicht gänzlich repariert. Klobrille etwas kleiner als der Klorand, Frühstück nicht abwechslungsreich, kein Lift, Bett/Matratze sehr weich.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026・フニクラの駅まで徒歩0秒、ゴルナーグラード鉄道の駅&Zermatt駅まで徒歩10分！ ・朝ごはんはパン、チーズ、フルーツのほかに、スクランブルエッグやソーセージの温かいメニューもあった🥯朝ごはんは朝7時(冬は7時半)からだが、お願いすれば朝6時半にサンドイッチとフルーツのボックスを用意してくれる。 ・部屋には無いがフロントにお願いすればケトルを借りれる。 ・バスタブがある。 ・マッターホルンビューではない部屋にしたが、Zermattに滞在すれば必然とずーーっとマッターホルンを眺めることになるし、Zermattは360°高山ビューなので、問題なかった。 ・東アジア系の宿泊者が多かった。
・エレベーターがない(Zermattの宿泊施設は大体無いみたい) ・部屋に冷蔵庫がない(フロントの冷蔵庫で預かってもらうことは可能)

The beds were squeaky which made it hard to sleep through my partners tossing and turning; the shower was annoying in multiple ways - low ceiling, clogged drain and no place to put the handheld shower head; 4 flights of stairs gets old; the furniture looks last updated in the 90s

Reviewed May 16, 2026The room was terrible! The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on! It was basically two beds joint together instead of a proper double bed. They gave us a room on the 4floor which had no lift and we had a 21 month old with us with whom we were climbing up and down the stairs. The staff wasn’t really warm or welcoming. They didn’t even really talk to us atall. For the price the hotel was a terrible choice!
Everything was horrible except the breakfast! The beds are especially bad.
