My room is nice, comfortable and clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was a nice experience staying in a quiet and relaxing place 🥰 I love the garden.

Habían bichos en la habitación y baño: bastantes hormigas y lo que se podía meter. No estaba limpia la habitación y la cama de arriba era un colchón en el suelo y no dejaron ni sábanas. Está totalmente apartado, no hay nada cerca.

Great food cooked by the Mum. Chicken curry was on point. Accommodation clean and the son was very accommodating when needing support to get to places. Friendly family atmosphere.

Rooms are very dark and hiring a bike Would be more beneficial to help you get to places rather than having full reliability on the staff.

A really nice stay in the calm nature in the neighbourhood of Sigiriya. A little bit further away from all the touristic attractions, but the hosts are really accommodating in helping with transportation options.

The staff were incredible. So friendly always ready to help organize every activity seamlessly and the food was so delicious! The breakfast was just perfect! It’s always about the people for me, it’s what shapes your stay and makes the memories you’ll keep with you.

Era and his wife are wonderful hosts who work incredibly hard to make sure every guest has everything they need, and it really shows. We truly felt at home during our stay. We traveled as a family of six with four children. We booked one A-frame cabin for the kids and another for ourselves, and it worked perfectly. The cabins are charming, clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The hotel is located away from the center of Sigiriya, surrounded by the jungle, which creates a unique and peaceful atmosphere. At night, you can truly experience the sounds of nature—it feels magical. Because the hotel is located in a quiet jungle area, I highly recommend having a driver to get around and visit the nearby attractions. Era can also help arrange a reliable driver if you need one. The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi connection, but I'm sure Era will have it fixed very soon. And honestly, who needs the internet when you're in paradise? Highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay and amazing ppl! Era and Niru- great host, they look after everyone personally. Phoebe- cute 🐶 Breakfast sumptuous! And they keep track of your liking and it is served accordingly on your next meal. Era even made a masala chai on our request. Don’t miss out on their fruits during bf, fresh and refreshing.

Such a great spot while staying in Sigiriya, you truly feel you’re immersed in nature, the road out is pretty bumpy though and there’s a chance you meet an elephant on that road at night. The pool is great and clean, and the hosts are very friendly.

Some shelves to put clothes out of the suitcase would be nice.

The breakfast was so good.

May be if we had a small cupboard to put our belonging and hang the clothes ,would be much appreciated.this is just a suggetion.

Amazing staff. All of them gave us an excellent job. Nice breakfast.

Room can be more confortable. There was poor natural light inside.

Staff is amazing specially Alwis. They will make you feel at home. Cabanas are different design in a good way. You got everything you need in it and very comfortable. Small pool is perfect relax. Can’t remember a place that adds more value for money than this.

We had a wonderful stay at Pahana village at first we thought it was a bit far out but Hozan the son of Nilu the owner had a tuk tuk and would take us to wherever we wanted to go and wait the whole family were amazing and helped us with everything we wanted to do while we were there. Nilu is an exceptional cook breakfast was outstanding and two out of three nights we had our evening meal there and it was so delicious even our fussy son ate.

Mooie rustige ligging in natuurlijke omgeving. Ontzettend aardige en behulpzame eigenaren! Genoten van een heerlijk getrakteerd diner, gemaakt door de gastvrouw! Lekker ontbijt.

Hygiëne in de badkamer, kans op wat insecten. Voor- en eventueel nadeel wat verder af van eetgelegenheden, niet op loopafstand. Kibissa ongeveer 10 minuten met tuktuk, Sigiriya ongeveer 30 minuten met tuktuk.

This is a difficult one to rate. It all started well we arrived, were given lovely welcome drinks and a garland and shown to our cabin. We had a lovely swim and as the weather cooled went for a run. However, on return from the run at around 7pm the owner told us that the price we'd booked through booking.com was wrong and he wanted 3 times the amount. Long story short after an expensive international call to speak to booking.com we were told the next day that Pahana couldn't accommodate us and we had to find alternative accommodation. In the end we weren't charged for the first night and I think if we hadn't had this issue it would have been a lovely stay though the cabins are very dark/not many windows with little outside shaded space to get away from the heat and their estaurant prices expensive compared to other local places. Breakfast was fine - not the best we've had but satisfactory. In the end we found an amazing alternative accommodation so all worked out for the best but was quite a stressful evening (especially as we have 2 kids) for something that was not our fault.

The stress of having to find alternative accommodation last minute and being made to feel that the mix up in price was our problem.

It’s a beautiful family run village. The unique style of the cottages. I felt at home immediately. The swimming pool was a welcome relief. The meals were reasonably priced and made with love, we could pick any time to eat with no issues.

It was an amazing stay!!! Everything was lovely. The hotel staff is very welcoming and hospitable. The area is beautiful🤩 and peaceful. The secluded location gives an impression of lost in the jungle😍😍 Little charming 2-storey houses are very cosy.
