Buena ubicación y personal muy amable.

Habitación muy vieja, ducha incómoda metido junto a la cama pero separado del resto del baño.

Beliggenhed. Ro på hotellet. Ikke larm fra gaden.

Gammelt. Dårlige faciliteter. Den ene seng var ved at falde fra hinanden. Vægge og gulve bar præg af at være meget gamle og lidt beskidte.

The room was surprisingly modern and clean, given the condition of the rest of the hotel. A new clean bathroom clean bedding and towels

the general state of the building was dirty and neglected. The carpet in the main entrance area was dirty, there needed to be a vast amount of redecoration, the paintwork was in a very bad state. The stairs were very steep, very narrow and circular. We were on the top fourth floor with no lift. My friend has asthma. It was a struggle. No help with anything. I am surprised it conformed to H & S REGULATIONS. I was relieved we were only staying 1 night. If a fire had broken out, we wouldnt have had a chance. One of the lights in the bedroom flickered off and on all night. It disturbed our sleep. The caretaker said he didnt have the tools to fix it. We were told shortly beforehand that breakfast wouldmt be avaialble on site, as planned.

The location is great. The room is comfortable and includes everything I need.

When I booked, breakfast was included. When I arrived I was informed there was new management and they'd closed the kitchen at The Parkwood. Please bear in mind I would have paid for the breakfast in the overall bill. In compensation I was offered either a late check-out or breakfast in a property 15 to 20 minutes away. Late check-out is just annoying. I had to be at St Pancras station to catch a train by 9 am. Parkwood management would have known a late check-out offer was unlikely to be accepted. Re going to the other place for breakfast: come on! I average walking 18 kilometres a day in London, yes I've measured it. Do you think I want to start my day by walking 15 minutes in the wrong direction for a breakfast I'd booked to eat on the premises of Parkwood Hotel? No! A small refund would have been fair and appropriate. A measly 20 pounds refund would have been enough to earn my loyalty but no. My room wasn't cleaned the day before I was due to leave and I found a long, coarse hair on the sink. Not my hair. Finally, the staff were very nice but I asked if a taxi could be called to take me to the station. In the past Parkwood Hotel has had contact with reliable drivers. I was told to call an uber or just go down to the main road and hail a taxi. I'm not using my mobile phone. I'm from Australia. Every time I use my mobile my telco charges me $12. The final detail: it was raining.

Koselig lite hotell i stille område. Gammelt og ganske slitt, men veldig sentralt nær Marble Arch og rent og ordentlig. Hotellet har også en liten patio med stoler og bord hvor man faktisk kan sitte ute i fred ro.

Omgjøring kvelden før ankomst til at det likevel ikke var frokost pga. nye drivere. Litt vel knirkete dører og senger. Minus for vask i gangen og ikke på badet.

Hôtel vétuste , pas de produit de toilette dans la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner était compris dans la chambre, mais à prendre dans un autre hôtel à 25mn à pied.

Att de avbokade frukosten på hotellet. Vi blev erbjudna att gå 20 minuter enkel väg och äta frukost på ett annat hotell

Should of been told well in advance about the change of ownership and that breakfast was in a different hotel

Location and staff were great. BUT this is dark, dirty, run down, teeny tiny rooms

Room is for 2 but we had to climb over the bed to get past each other, bathroom sliding door doesn’t close all the way, tiny shower stall with gross plastic curtain, dark, hot, awful mattress lump and squeaky , smells like cheap stinky cleaning chemicals.

The shower, which was so small that we (unaffectionately) called it THE DRIP.

Die Lage ist großartig, das Personal ist freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wenn die Treppen herausfordernd waren.

Eigentlich nur, dass der Kühlschrank nicht wirklich gekühlt hat. Aber es war dennoch besser, als die Sachen draußen zu lagern.

It needs modernised throughout

Felt so welcoming and everyone was very kind to us, the location was great and so was the breakfast!

Due to an issue I decided to cancel my stay after a few hours, the staff has been extremely helpful.

Rooms and bathrooms are very old and need revamping.

Das Personal ist so unglaublich freundlich und liebenswert gewesen. Außerdem war alles soweit sauber. Aufgrund der hohen Hitze haben wir gleich zwei Ventilatoren im Zimmer gehabt. Die U-Bahn Station ist nicht weit weg und in wenigen Minuten waren wir auch zu Fuß schon in der Oxford Street oder im Hyde Park. Direkt in der Nähe gibt es auch mehrere gute Möglichkeiten fürs Abendessen oder den schnellen Einkauf für Zwischendurch.

Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber noch okay. Die Matratzen waren schon deutlich durchgelegen, da wäre es gut, wenn in neue investiert werden würde.

This is a very good location with good access to central London.

The breakfast area was a bit rundown. Spongey floors and the food was average.

Ret beskidt !!! Møblerne beskidte, mærkelige lugte, skimmelsvamp på badeværelse, interiør ødelagt/i stykker, tv virker ikke, dørene kan ikke åbne helt, afløbet tilstoppet. Men altså - personalet er mega flinke og beliggenheden er god.

The staff and the location were brilliant very close to Hyde Park and multiple tube stations and Paddington a short 10/15 min walk Bedding was fresh and had fridge, wardrobe, and TV but we didn’t stay to spend time in the room was just a stop off place to sleep and keep our stuff while we went out around London. Short 15 min walk to Marlybone good for access to Wembley

It was very hot the week we stayed and even with the window wide open it was absolutely boiling in the room, the whole room was tired and run down, skirt boards rotting, very dated decore

Breakfast was ok. The location was the best thing about this hotel

The bathroom and shower were awful. Once you managed to squeeze through the bathroom door by squashing up against the toilet, you had a trickle of a shower in a very old marked and worn tiny cubicle. Lots of limescale and bad attempts at patching grout and sealant. The sink which was in the entrance hall was also badly marked.

Shower didn’t really work. Tv didn’t work. V aged inside and needs a proper tidy up and deep clean. Breakfast room felt like a cramped dungeon!

No aircon and 30 degree heat wasn’t the best. Shower in room was terrible zero water pressure. Property needs work and updating drastically too many shoddy repairs. Even ironing board was broken.

Very friendly and excellently located hotel. We were upgraded and given room on ground floor. 20 minute walk from Marylebone. Good breakfast and hotel has everything you need. Would recommend and definately come again

The property was a very good location for the event at Hyde Park.

The property was dated in decoration, furniture old and the shower was located in a cupboard space in the bedroom. The shower head needed replacing, with a water trickle.There was an outdoor patio area from the room, which was useful as the windows wouldn't open to offer some air.

Location was great for Hyde Park. Breakfast was ok for a buffet full English. External terrace was a bonus.

The room was a bit dated. Breakfast could be better with more choices e.g mushrooms, hash browns.

Perfect location for accessing Hyde Park. Friendly staff. Rooms clean & comfortable. Small fridge in room was useful. Nice breakfast.

Bathroom was in serious need of updating. Shower was just a trickle. Shower door had been replaced by a curtain which couldn't be moved but let water out on to bathroom floor. Steep stairs inside property, including down to breakfast room in basement, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. More choices needed for breakfast to compete with other hotels.

De ligging van het hotel, zijstraat Hydepark en op loopafstand van Oxford Street en de metro/bus en evt fietsen voor de deur te huren via een app. Heel leuke, nette buurt. De koffers kunnen worden achtergelaten bij uitcheck zodat je deze niet met je mee hoeft te nemen als je nog de hele dag van de stad kunt genieten voordat je naar huis gaat. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, heel relaxed.

Geen airco, ramen niet vergrendeld... Het waren twee extreem hete dagen in Londen, dus we konden/durfden het raam niet open te houden als we weg waren omdat als iemand zou willen, de kamer ongezien kon binnentreden aan de achterkant- en de zon stond de hele tijd op het raam, dus een zeer benauwde kamer bij terugkomst laat op de avond ...

UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING AND WE HAPPENED TO STAY IN THOSE EXTREMELY HOT DAYS. THE BATHROOMS NEED A SERIOUS REDOING. CLEAN BUT .-... ALMOST UNUSABLE. THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE NEED SERIOUS RENOVATION

Tout le personnel est adorable. L’hôtel est un peu rétro mais confortable avec tout le nécessaire. L’emplacement était parfait pour nous et très centrale.

We kregen zeer oude kamer in de kelder. Onderhoud kamer was niet goed. Geen airco (stond wel in beschrijving), maar met 40 graden niet doenbaar zonder airco. Andere kamer waar deur open stond zag er beter uit.

At 3-rd floor level, water pressure in the shower was really weak, after all day walki g and dancing at festival, good shower is needed. But every different part was great, staff, breakfast, localization, clean room etc.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Previous reviews said about the place being run down slightly but the areas we saw looked amazing. The bed was firm but very comfy to sleep on. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast tasted amazing with plenty of toast brought to the table. We stayed there for BST Hyde Park and it was literally a few minutes walk away. Even if we just wanted to visit the area, we would choose this hotel again. Staff are very friendly and managed to meet the cute little dog before we left.

The hotel was not what we were expecting, it’s quite tatty and shabby. Our room looked dirty and in desperate need of renovation. No air conditioning so it was hot and the room had a bad smell. In the end we left after 10 minutes and booked into a different hotel. I can’t recommend this hotel as we didn’t want to stay there and left.

If you want more than a basic en suite room and breakfast this hotel is not for you. If you just want a place to crash and can accept going up a few flights of stairs this place is great

The location is excellent, quiet but really central. Just across the road from Hyde Park and close to bus services as well as Marble Arch Tube station. Walking distance to Oxford street. The linen, towels etc were clean and good quality.

Its London and it's an old building, so it was a bit wonky, you can expect that. However, in our case that meant the bathroom door would not stay closed. The breakfast was very basic, not much variety.
