Lontana dal centro rumoroso, in zona tranquilla ma abbastanza vicina da arrivarci a piedi.

Non c'era un cortile, le verande affacciavano direttamente sulla strada,anche se poco trafficata.

Die Lage

Tiene unos standares muy europeos este alojamiento. Muy comodo, gran puerta de cristal, entonces has de tener las cortinas cerradas si quieres intimidad. No son muchas habitaciones, es tranquilo. Está en una cuesta muy empinada, pero muy cerca del centro de ella, 7-8 minutos caminando ;) Cerca tienes de todo. El desayuno muy rico y completo. El Señor que se ocupa del lugar atento y comprometido, no habla mucho ingles, pero si tienes algun tipo de problema, el llana a la propietaria y puedes.

El precio es mas de la media que estuve pagando en todo el viaje pero el centro de Ella son los precios que rondan a esta "calidad".

El alojamiento estaba súper limpio y tenía muy buenas instalaciones. Tenía un ventanal precioso para ver la naturaleza en el exterior, veíamos monos en las copas de los árboles. La cama era super cómoda y el personal muy agradable

Nothing was happy with stay

Netter Gastgeber, bisschen ein lustiger Kauz. Zimmer war basic, aber soweit alles vorhanden. Frühstück lecker und reichhaltig. Eine solide Unterkunft mit gutem Preis Leistungsverhältnis, damit ich 9 oder 10 Punkte gebe muss mich eine Unterkunft, aber vom Hocker hauen.

Wasserspender fehlt. Schon eher am oberen Ende von Ella, ca. 10Min zu Fuß in die Stadt, hat uns aber eigentlich nicht gestört.

Endroit cosy et calme situé très proche du centre. La chambre est grande, lumineuse et bien équipée (bouilloire, frigo) et nous avions chacun une petite terrasse ! La literie est confortable.

Attention sacrée montée pour atteindre la guest house (pas accessible à tous mais comme beaucoup d’endroits à Ella) mais accessibles en véhicule et tuktuk. Il manque quelques prises, nous avons dû débrancher le frigo pour pouvoir charger nos appareils. Dommage que l’employé ne parle pas anglais, nous n’avons pas pu échanger avec lui. Mais il est très poli, serviable et souriant. Il semble vivre dans des conditions moindres qui contraste avec le confort de nos chambres…

Die ruhige Lage, abseits vom lauten Trubel Ellas. Die Zimmer waren einfach, aber ausreichend, Bad war groß und guter Wasser Strahl. Auch der kleine Kühlschrank hat uns gefallen. Gutes Bett mit Moskito Netz , kleine Terrasse auf der das Frühstück vom netten, älteren Herrn serviert wird.

Der Geruch des Zweiten Zimmers, leicht modrig/ schimmelig, durften die Zimmer nach der ersten Nacht sofort wechseln…, auch das man nur die Terrassen Tür öffnen konnte und es kein Fenster zum öffnen gab, war nicht so schön. Auch gibt es keinen Garten, wie die Fotos suggerieren.

It's up the hill far from the hustle and bustle, in a very quiet location. Rooms and large and clean, beds comfortable with the mosquito net. They serve a really delicious breakfast in front of your room, anytime in the morning. They even packed us some food at 6 am to go for the hike in Ella Rock. Price is higher than our average but it's quite normal in such a touristic town as Ella.

Tuktuk and cars don't come all the way up, there is a short steep road to reach the guesthouse, about 50 m.

Die Zimmer sind super sauber und auch sehr ruhig gelegen! Es ist cute, dass man einen kleinen eigenen Sitzbereich im Freien hat! Am besten ist jedoch der Besitzer selbst der jeden Morgen das Frühstück macht und serviert! Schrulliges Männchen, richtig liebenswürdig! Preisleistung ist absolut unschlagbar!

The property is just like the photos and is in a very quiet and peaceful location just a 5 minute walk from the shops and restaurants. Also it’s easy to walk to the Nine Arches Bridge from here. The bed was large, clean and comfortable and the air con worked well and we had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with coconut pancakes, fruit and home made daal. The owner and his assistant were friendly and wanted us to be happy with everything.

The only plug was across the room and the controls for the air con and lights too so you had to get out of bed to do anything.

The breakfast was very very good! Very tasty! Location was also good! The customer service was perfect and friendly. 🤩

There was a current leak in our room. I got shock two times.

Beautiful simple but modern decor, comfy bed, mosquito net, little terrace, close to the main road but very peaceful.

First of all the manager was very very rude and treats her staff member like slave. With the customer she wasn’t polite,annoying and rude. I can’t find words to describe but money minded . Regarding the room the toilet was not properly fixed it is very dangerous and it doesn’t work neither, the shower was leaking everywhere. There was a leak on the roof and the floor was wet in the bed room .They don’t provide with a proper bill or receipt .

The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.

The property is not really ready to rent. There are many things listed on booking in the facilities that aren’t actually available. There is no kettle, no hairdryer, no bath and the kitchen is not really available or set up for you to use, which was one of the main reasons we booked. Also, the shower was broken and the toilet didn’t flush properly. This could be a really nice place, but needs many things sorting to charge the price they do.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. Lelun and the family were incredibly kind and generous, ensuring we had everything we needed. Lelun went above and beyond, preparing delicious meals that perfectly accommodated my dietary restrictions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hospitality here exceeded all expectations—highly recommended

1. Location is close to Ella Market. And other tourist areas are close. 2. Staff and owner were great. They greeted us with Welcome Tea, helped us carry luggage on the steep hill to the accommodation, and arranged a takeaway for an additional charge. 3. Cleanliness and picturesque view. 4. Room size and bed was nice. 5. Balcony area for relaxing and dining. 6. Facility to use Fringe, kitchen and washing machine in a separate place.

1. Internet was not working. Very bad and not able to open Internet page. 2. Language barrier. The staff barely speak English. 3. The room looks empty with little furniture. Could improve with some furniture. 4. The toilet flush and sink tap were not working well.

A great place to stay near Ella. Your room has a mosquito net and en-suite. There are table and chairs outside (which I brought inside ... I needed a desk to work). Big shout out to Selvan, the 'super man' running the place. He cooks breakfast, cleans, calls a tuk-tuk for you ... and all done with a big smile ! The lodging is up a steepish hill ... but a tuk tuk to / from Ella is 500 each way (less than €2), and just takes a few minutes. There is a simple kitchen and fridge, which you can use. Tea and coffee available in the kitchen.

It was clean and quite. The employee: It is a little older guy. He is the reason, that anything works at this location. He is very polite, has a huge feeling for privacy and works really well. We could see him oftentimes, since we had some rainy hours. He helped us with every concern. He is the reason, why you can stay here clean and safe. Very trustworthy.

The room: The main problem for us was, that when you close the door, there is no chance to get fresh air. For this reason, the air is really bad when the doors were closed for a certain time. It smells damp and musty (you can see mold at the photo). There is only one plug. Make sure to bring Socket distributor. The manager: She has no sense for privacy nor service. She looks in the room even when the curtains are closed. She takes pictures of us during breakfast without permission. And she interupts the guests at dinner or breakfast for getting the stay paid Also I don't have the feeling that she treats the employee with the necessary respect.

It was a great location, just a short walk from centre of town. Both the manager Nelum and the gentleman who ran the homestay were so friendly and welcoming. Nelum was a lovely woman who made us feel at home, and the gentleman working at the property was such a hard worker. Breakfast was delicious and he was so proactive during our stay.

We loved the host, he was the most kind personen we meet in Sri Lanka. We loved the breakfast as well! 😍 The bed and bathroom were fine.

The breakfast was plentiful. The host was extremely friendly. The room was big.Up a very steep hill. Quiet at night.

The room had not been cleaned. The sheets were dirty, the sink in the bathroom was grimey, there was a piece of jewellery on the dirty shelf. The toilet paper was chewed presumably by a rodent. They offered us a different room but then didn't move us. We did get clean sheets and a fresh toilet roll.
