Nous sommes restés 5 nuits au Santosha Place pour notre voyage de noces. L’hôtel est bien situé et propose un service de transport. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, le personnel est très agréable et aux petits soins. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la propreté de la chambre, le petit-déjeuner ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. Nous avons eu une chambre tranquille, nous nous sommes sentis très bien. Merci à toute l’équipe pour leur excellent accueil, leurs conseils durant notre séjour et leur disponibilité 🙏🏼🩵

Great location and excellent value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and always greeted us with a smile. I really can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming the staff were. The property was very peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again!

Absolutely STUNNING property. The energy with the temple and the gardens were incredible. A beautiful pool, nice water features everywhere. Beds were super comfortable. Room was beautiful and peaceful. I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable. My room was always cleaned. The family that runs it are SO nice. I felt very taken care of. I had leftovers and the stove in the kitchen wasn’t working and Wiwik cooked my leftovers for me. I hit my head and they brought be tea. It was very kind.

Wiwik was amazing, the whole staff was amazing and really welcoming. The hotel was really clean, you could really see there was the care of a family business behind it.

The location wasn’t excellent, but still great!

La struttura è accogliente e le camere sono pulite. Il personale è estremamente gentile e pronto ad accogliere qualsiasi richiesta. Abbiamo provato il massaggio balinese in camera ed è stato molto piacevole. La posizione è comoda per raggiungere le principali mete turistiche ma non ha vicino ristoranti. L’hotel tuttavia offre la possibilità di cenare in struttura e il cibo ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Personale super gentile e disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. Possibilità di fare colazione direttamente in camera e pulizia della camera giornaliera da parte dello staff. Abbiamo avuto due piccoli inconvenienti in stanza riguardo alla luce e hanno lavorato tutta la sera per mettercela a posto, offrendoci anche un piccolo dessert per l’inconveniente. Everything was beyond amazing, the staff is the sweetest we loved the stay

Everything about my stay was wonderful. The room was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the property was exceptional. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, and the Wi-Fi was strong. I also appreciated being able to book an in-room massage and loved that it was within walking distance of the Pyramids of Chi.

The only downside for me was a nearby rooster that started crowing EARLY each morning. I'm sensitive to that kind of noise, so I slept with earplugs. Even so, I enjoyed my stay enough to extend it from two nights to ten.

Tipica casa balinese, con tutti i comfort. Lo staff accogliente e cordiale. Le stanze comode, con possibilità di aggiungere un letto extra. Vetrata panoramica con possibilità di fare colazione direttamente sul balconcino. La struttura è dotata di poche stanze, quindi ambiente intimo e familiare. Abbiamo prenotato direttamente con loro un tour per visitare Ubud: Agus ci ha accompagnato per tutto il giorno facendoci non solo da driver ma anche da guida locale. Una sera ci hanno servito la cena tipica in stile balinese. La struttura ha anche un tempio di famiglia, molto caratteristico. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa.

La struttura non ha una stanza spa quindi i massaggi vengono eseguiti direttamente in stanza. L’acqua della doccia ha una capacità limitata quindi bisogna attendere qualche minuto per farsi più docce (noi eravamo 6).

I had a wonderful stay. The Balinese family made me feel at home from the first day. Agus was incredibly kind, friendly, and always happy to help. Being invited to a traditional Balinese full moon purification ceremony made my stay truly unforgettable. The room was newly renovated, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable.

I had a really lovely stay here. The staff were very warm and welcoming, they did amazing room service and even brought me ginger tea when I was sick. The bedroom is really bright and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very nice. Both super clean. I liked the guest book which had lots of great information about Ubud history in there. I liked that it was in a quiet area, out of town but only 10 minute scooter ride away from the chaos of Ubud.

This guest house is run by a wonderful family who are incredibly kind, helpful, and polite. They genuinely care about their guests and always do their best to provide exceptional service, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I think I had the best sleep of my life here. It wasn't just because of the comfortable bed, the excellent facilities, or the soothing sounds of flowing water, birds, and nature. There is also a peaceful energy in this place that is difficult to describe but easy to feel. It creates an atmosphere of complete relaxation and makes it truly special. I couldn't recommend this guest house more highly, and I would happily stay here again.

Siamo state sin da subito accolte con gentilezza e disponibilità. Ottima posizione poiché poco distante dal caos del centro, .ma raggiungibile in pochi minuti con taxi. Santosha Place ti fa immergere da subito nell'atmosfera tipica balinese. Molto tranquillo, pulito e le stanze sono molto luminose.

Rooms have the most beautiful views, immaculate clean and elegant. Guest service was beyond great! Agus welcomed us with the most hospitable atmosphere. He took time to proudly show us around his family Temple explaining every detail. Couldn't have been better!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre nuit dans cet établissement. L’accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux, avec un personnel attentionné et disponible. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Un grand merci encore au personnel pour leur accueil !

Petit bémol : le débit d’eau dans la salle de bain était assez faible. Cela ne nous a pas vraiment dérangés pour une seule nuit, mais sur un séjour plus long, cela pourrait poser problème. À noter également : l’emplacement peut être un peu isolé si vous n’êtes pas motorisé — cela peut impacter le bon rapport qualité-prix si vous devez multiplier les trajets.

L’environnement et le cadre était vraiment très bien. Les chambres étaient comme sur les photos grandes propres. La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel qui était tous au top. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Dommage que pendant la période de notre séjour il y avait des travaux donc un peu de bruit et compliqué de stationner. Le repas du soir dépanne mais ce n’est pas de la grande cuisine.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Le petit-déj’ est très copieux et peut être changé chaque jour. Le personnel est également très à l’écoute.

Quelques coupures d’eau dans la chambre, tout en haut, sûrement à cause de la pression. Si vous avez peur des lézards ou des Geko, cet établissement n’est pas votre ami, il rentre dans la chambre et passe la nuit avec vous.

The location is actually pretty remote. It's in a village. To get there by a car you either took a narrow short cut. Or make a pretty long detours.

A localização não é a melhor em Ubud, considerando o centro. Mas é boa. Perto da pyramids of chi.

Se vuoi soggiornare lontano dal traffico e la confusione di Ubud non puoi non andare al Santosha Place. ( con la macchina circa 10 minuti) Stanze pulite e confortevoli che sia affacciano su un bellissimo giardino che potrai ammirare mentre fai la tua colazione in camera. Lo staff gentilissimo ci ha organizzato il transfer dall'aeroporto e per il porto. Ci hanno anche preparato una colazione da asporto l'ultimo giorno nonostante andassimo via di mattina molto presto. Nous étions au dernier étage, je recommande. Une vue sur les toits, sur la forêt. Un logement typique balinais (pour nous). C'est un vrai dépaysement. Cet hôtel familial est tenu par des personnes charmantes et accueillantes.

Les aboiements de chiens errants la nuit et le réveil des coqs le matin sont des bémols.

Simple, clean, quite: the perfect solution to escape the confusion of Bali. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a couple of nights. We highly recommend the driver who drove us where we wanted and explained us culture and habits of his beautiful island.

よく掃除されていてきれいでした。 スタッフの方もにこやかで、過ごしやすかったです。 トイレはウォシュレット付きでした。（トイレットペーパーは流さなかったですが。） お腹ゆるいので飲み水を心配してましたが、部屋に置いてあるペットボトル、朝食(コーヒー含め)は全部もんだいなしでした。 蚊はそこまでいませんでした。 以下注意点。 ・ホテルのエントランスはちょっとわかりづらくて、通りから入ってすぐの左側の扉。 ・冷蔵庫とセキュリティボックスはありませんでした。(盗難リスクがほぼない感じだったので、困りはしないです) ・網戸がないのとドアに隙間があるので、フルーツや花などが部屋にあると、小さい虫、ハエが集まってしまう。 ・トカゲとコウモリがまぁまぁいました。 ・夜10時までは出歩いて大丈夫とのことでしたが、9時過ぎくらいに歩いてたら野犬に追いかけられてちょっと怖かった。(地元の人が追い払ってくれました。ウブドの人は優しいです） ・朝方、道路には大型犬のうんちがたくさん落ちてるので、歩く時は要注意です。(1時間後くらいにはバイクとかで全て潰されてました笑 日本みたいに犬のフンは拾いましょう的な文化はなさそう。)

1階は、ホテルでゆっくりする予定の場合は避けた方がいいかもしれません。 2部屋あるうちの奥側でしたが、プールから丸見えの位置だったので、目隠しがあるといいなと思いました。

Lekker rustig buiten Ubud, zeer vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt op het balkon bij onze kamer.

Klein bed waarin je iedere beweging van je partner voelt. De ramen van onze kamer waren erg smerig en de kamer was kleiner dan wat we gewend zijn. Ook de wastafel in de badkamer was erg klein en daar hing een muffe lucht.

Suksma🙏we enjoyed our stay. Everything especially the food was very delicious, comfy beds and their hospitality is just amazing going above and beyond for their quests. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay and enjoy ubud.

Santosha Place was just perfect for our family. Accommodation in a true Balinese atmosphere, clean rooms, and an extremely kind and accommodating staff. Agus and his team put their best efforts for meeting our expectations and accommodating some last-minute requests. They organised many tours for us, including massage in the comfort of the room. The breakfast was simple and delicious, as was everything else there. My family and I had an amazing time at Santosha.

Although the hotel is not within walking distance of Ubud center, Agus and his team always managed drop-offs and pick-ups at all times. I have also suggested that it would be great if the room were equipped with a little fridge.

Room was nice but the concrete stairs were four flights high and not good for elderly knees

Everything was amazing, the room was clean, the staff were super helpful, respectful and kind, made us feel right at home. Food was also amazing, as a foreign, we didn’t have any problems with water or food here. The Location was quiet and nice, everything was close. We also had a laundry service and our clothes came back fresh and smelling amazing. Rented scooters with them and everything went perfect!

I traveled around Bali for 6 weeks and Santosha place was the best accomodation I had. I’ve stayed in room 905 if I correctly remember,second floor,a lot of light,amazing view of the houses/temples around,the sky,nature. The place and the room I had had an amazing energy! I had the best sleep. I loved the beauty of the early mornings and the amazing light of the sunsets. I am grateful for my time here!

Maybe at the beginning I was not happy with the long stairs to take but as I got some help to get my luggage up and down,in the end it was not a real problem.

A true Balinese sanctuary! Everything about my stay at Santosha Place was absolutely beautiful. It’s a small, family-owned boutique hotel, and they truly make you feel like part of the family. The service was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating – every detail felt personalized with care. I had an in-room massage and facial (seriously, the facial was heavenly), and the food, laundry service, and overall hospitality were all superb. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful location, just 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ubud – close enough to enjoy the town, but far enough to relax in total serenity. If you’re into wellness, there are lots of options nearby. I especially recommend the School of Unified Healing, which offers free daily practices, and the Pyramids of Chi, just a 5-minute walk away. The infinity pool across the street offers a gorgeous view – perfect for a lazy day in the sun. And breakfast… oh, how I’ll miss the Balinese porridge I became completely addicted to! I saw a few reviews mentioning the portions were small, but honestly – how much food do you need for breakfast? 😳 Thank you, Santosha Place, for making my time in Bali truly unforgettable. I already miss the tranquility and can’t wait to return. Namaste.

Santosha Place is a lovely and budget-friendly option just outside the center of Ubud. I chose it because I wanted to experience something more grounded and flexible after staying in resorts, and this was exactly that. The service was exceptional , the daily care, kind communication, and attention truly touched me. It’s an ideal stay for travelers who plan to explore Ubud and the surrounding area

Wonderful staff!!! Great clean Room!!!! Comfortable bed. Our flight was delayed, and got to the hotel at 1am!!!! And the staff welcomed us with a big smile and our Room with the AC on!!! Really appreciated that welcoming!!! Breakfast is brought yo your Room where you eat in your balcony!!! Would recomend this place 100%

I struggled to find reception initially in the pouring rain, but once sorted and found my way, I was lead to my lovely room up a set of stairs with a lovely outlook. A comfortable bed and room. Beautiful breakfasts each morning, sitting outside on the balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Traditional Balinese design, with rooms overlooking the family temple, within a family atmosphere. The rooms were so neat and cleaned daily.

The location was a bit far from Ubud Center, so we had to order grab or gojek for most of our activities. But I think that location is what makes it quiet and cozy.
