Its good option if you want to stay near the air port.Its just walking distance.But to experience Leh city vibes you have to take taxi or public transport which is Rs.10/- per person.Hotel is good,rooms are clean and staff is also very polite.You can definitely give it a try.

i like the location

I was disappointed with how they handled the cooling. Apparently, the cooling for the entire floor was switched off at the request of just one guest, without considering the comfort of the other guests staying on the same floor. Instead of turning off the cooling for everyone, they could have simply adjusted the temperature in that particular guest’s room. What made the experience more frustrating was that even after we requested them four times to switch the cooling back on, it was still not turned on. The hotel itself is good, but I hope the management handles situations like this more thoughtfully in the future and considers the comfort of all guests rather than inconveniencing an entire floor.

We had a wonderful experience at Charmwood Hotel, Leh. From the outside you may not realise how beautiful the hotel is, but the moment you step inside, it has a completely different feel. The interiors are elegant and luxurious, the rooms and bathrooms are beautifully done, and most importantly, everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, obliging and helpful throughout our stay. During our first stay, our room didn’t have much of a view, but when we returned for our final night, they kindly gave us a room with a beautiful view. Extra beds and our other requests were also handled very smoothly. The location is another huge advantage—Leh Airport is only about a 5-minute walk away! Without luggage, we could have easily walked to the airport. Overall, an exceptional stay—beautiful interiors, excellent cleanliness, comfortable rooms, very good staff and an unbeatable location near the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Charmwood Hotel to anyone visiting Leh.

Breakfast was good and the Indian food was excellent. Since we stayed for around 4–5 nights, however, the options started becoming repetitive. It would be great to have a little more variety, particularly some continental options alongside the Indian breakfast. One useful tip for future guests: checkout is at 10:00 AM and late checkout can be difficult, as many new guests arrive on morning flights. We weren’t fully aware of this initially, but the staff were kind enough to give us an additional 30–45 minutes to pack and check out comfortably.

Located 2 mins from the airport. Very well maintained business hotel style. Our family room was spacious and comfortable. There is no AC in the rooms but thats normal for Ladakh.

15 mins away from Leh Market.

The property is clean and the rooms are well designed.

There were issues with the bathroom drain. It was not repaired even after complaining. Property is not located in Market or tourist area. It is very close to the airport though.

Hotel enterance at roadside, poor parking space which ia badly managed causing much inconvenince . No outdoor space ( garden ) at the hotel. Only few rooms have outside view, for other rooms , view is either compromised or no view at all. The pictures provided by hotel on websites are thus decpetive. Breakfast buffet had very limited options.

Das Zimmer hatte eine ansprechende Größe, ebenso das Bad. Ausreichend Stauraum und Ablageflächen vorhanden. Bequemes Bett, vernünftiger Schreibtisch, WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei, Beleuchtung tadellos. Das Restaurant bietet tadelloses Buffet am Abend und beim Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The hotel is very nice, the location is right next to the airport and the restaurant food was also very good.

First - I confirmed before hand that we will get both rooms on the ground floor. Still when we got there, they assigned a room on first floor. We had to show them the communication proof, and get a little aggressive and were then given the room in ground floor. On checkout, we were handed a bill of 12,000. Once again, we had to show the booking .com rate to receive a revised bill. So, clearly they are not aligned with booking.com. The bathroom shower was spreading water all over the bath - I did not complaint, as we were there only for a day, and did not see the necessity of getting it fixed.

LOCATION NEAR AIRPORT WAS AN ADVANTAGE TO REACH AND EXIT WITH COMFORT BUT OFF THE MARKET PLACE. BUT BEING SMALL TOWN DISTANCE WAS NOT A MATTER.

Breakfast arrangement is good and Breakfast quality is good. Location wise. Rooms are above average. staff is very supprtive. Washroom is clean and good. hot water is working and available in the washroom only.

Location wise , the hotel is not good. hotel site is there where other hotels are in under constrction. roads are not good. no good parking facilities. Rooms are average ans small in size. we hired a family room for 4 person which is not comfortable. for this kind of hotel room price for one night as i paid approx 4750/- included breakfast is not worth.

Excellent location within walking distance of the airport. We stayed here on our final days in Ladakh before taking an early morning flight home. Really helped us get to the airport in time by just walking over. The hotel has tastefully designed and well maintained interiors. Staff is very polite and helpful.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. great view from the window. the staff were super helpful. breakfast was excellent, there was one guy in the restaurant who packed fruits and faratas for us for our long journey, which really helped us. what i loved most about the hotel is that the staffs did not stay within the parameters of rules and regulations. They helped genuinely and cared. not money minded hotel. thank you charmwood ..

The rooms look legit like a proper 5 star hotel and the washroom is very modern. The bed was very comfortable and a good view of the Leh airport. The food at the restaurant was also quite delicious. The location allowed us to walk to the airport to catch our return flight and the staff were quite courteous

Door jam was a pickle and distance to town centre market was little too much. Other than that everything was spot on.
