Lovely staff, beautifully renovated unit

Desperately needs new beds, felt every bit of movement. Only thing that let it down.

clean, spacious bathrooms, rooms recently upgraded and redecorated all well set up.

The staff were amazing...very helpful providing a garage to park my motorcycle in...and the room was very nicely presented and clean... having Pak'n'save on the next corner was great as well...VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED..

The shower is great big and powerful.

Would be good if there's a tissue box and provide shower gel instead of soap.

A clean and comfortable room in a great location. Very central to town with plenty to do nearby. Room was modern and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Would prefer less deodorizer to be used in the rooms… the smell was very strong on arrival. The office for checking in was very unwelcoming - just a bare room with a small slot behind a plastic barrier for talking to the staff.

Great location, off street secure parking

Had booked in for 2 nights. When the cleaner (male) came to clean he just opened the door without knocking. It would have been courteous and customer friendly if the cleaner had knocked on the door and identified himself. I’m okay but a line female may have found the situation uncomfortable

Super handy location to Pak n Sav and a good selection of takeaways. Centre Place mall a few mins away. Perfect for our short stay

Couldn’t fault it

A young man in the Office was super welcoming friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and well maintained painting inside and out was clean and fresh, everything that you need and want in the rooms. Was really affordable and a great experience 10/10

Our room was comfortable and very clean. The location is very handy to a supermarket and a KFC, also there are several restaurants within walking distant.

Our room was on the road side of the motel, so traffic noise was a bit disturbing for our light sleeper.

Bathroom and facilities were nice and clean. Outside somewhat dated looking but in character, I guess.

Bed was extremely soft with roll together and very low to the ground. Coffee option was aweful. Would like nicer coffee option in the room. Would also have liked extra pillows. Only had one each for myself and teenage daughter. There were no spare pillows so we used the blanket from end of bed and rolled up to put under our pillows. Didn't try phoning reception for more but I guess that could have been an option

Location great for FMG Stadium. Warm cosy room. Easy no fuss checkout. Great value for money.

This is by far the best value for money motel I've ever stayed at. I've stayed at 5-star hotels all over the world, but this motel was probably cleaner than most. The staff were very friendly, great location in Hamilton, lovely air con during a cold July evening, comfy beds, and good size bathroom with fabulous shower/bath.

First room we had the beds were rock solid but our bigger room when we upgraded due to our kids was much much better.

Close to CBD, we were able to walk to restaurants, and centre place mall (20 mins walk). Room we stayed in and friends room in another block were recently renovated, Water pressure in the shower was so good the first time we used it water went everywhere. Front desk staff was very helpful during our 4 night stay. Rooms were very quiet, did not hear any other occupants even the nights when motel was fully booked.

Bed was a bit springy for my liking but did not disturb my sleep. A little more milk and coffee would be nice, but we always run out wherever we go. It was replenished every day.

The black chair has very loose screws. I did manage to screw them in a little with my finger. We tried to park outside our room (6) but we could not get in there as the hedge scraped the car and you would not be able to get out the side of the hedge

Great location for the rugby, only a couple of minutes from town by car and the room was good sized and clean and tidy. Great having the toilet separate as well.

This motel served its purpose for us. It was a convenient place for an overnight stopover in Hamilton. We had a spacious room with two beds. The single bed was comfortable, but the double bed was saggy. The bathroom/toilet worked well.

The carpet was old and there were tacks protruding near the bathroom door. After getting stabbed, we placed a folded towel over the area.

I loved the safe parking, the big TV, amenities such as kettle and fridge, spa bath and general cleanliness. Good price and very friendly staff!

I thought the bed a bit hard, but I guess it depends on what a person is used to. Our spa bath leaked, so we had to keep topping up, which is a bit wasteful. We would have also liked more milk, as for 2 people the milk was a bit sparse as there was no milk for the morning.

Friendly, polite reception. Room was warm on arrival. Clean. Sufficient room for 3 people for an overnight stay.

Taking a $200.00 payment on arrival (as well as payment for the room) which was returned immediately after leaving. Kitchen area was limited so not suitable for long stays. The bath tended to not drain efficiently and we had to wait between showers. (Did mention this to reception)

No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Had to wash my hands with dishwashing liquid. Had issues with the lock on the door, couldn't unlock it without help from staff.

Staff member that greeted us was friendly and helpful. Supplied extra milk at our request. Room was basic, but met all out needs. Room was warm with a heat pump. Shower had great water pressure. Parking was right outside room. Supermarket and food places are nearby. Facility was quiet. Room had a fridge, microwave, and electric kettle.

There was no hair dryer. There were no extra pillows or blankets.

I had a great stay at Grosvenor Motor Inn, the location was perfect, just a short walk or drive into town and close to plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. The unit itself had everything I needed, it was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with all the facilities right there, including reliable Wi-Fi, a good shower and great parking. The team were friendly and welcoming, making check-in easy

The only small issue was that the shower screen could have done with a clean, but this didn’t take away from an otherwise pleasant stay.
