No account for decaff drinkers in the room No filter coffee at breakfast Breakfast good but needs to be elevated,no choice of jam if allergic to Strawberry. 1 choice of fruit with yoghurt, 1 choice of a small danish pastry. only 1 of everything rather than doubling up which one would expect.in a full English. Seemed breakfast was served as a chore not to give a good experience. No asking of food allergies. The breakfast room needs to considered to maximise the use of it.

Very clean room, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Happy to look after our luggage for a while after checkout. Couldn't have asked for more.

We didn't avail of the early check in as it was £20 extra.

1. Breakfast was tasty. 2. Good location in Eastbourne by the sea, city centre and cultural centre. 3. Room was adequate and had a kettle with teas and coffees.

1. Limited choice at breakfast (no buffet). 2. Water pressure stopped working at around 09:30-10:00 when everybody had a shower before check out. I had to ask the hotel to call a plumber. 3. 10:00 checkout. (Making check out 11:00 would solve the overuse of water at around 09:30-10:00).

The bed was terrible and thin. Could feel the springs through the mattress.

The mattress is thin and was a very very small double not big enough for two people. We didn't actually stay we booked somewhere different after checking In

Not as clean as a 4 star should be . There seemed to be a problem with migrants which also made us feel uncomfortable. Room was quite noisy with adjacent rooms.

Only wanted a continental breakfast, we thought £15 each for a full breakfast was a bit expensive when we only wanted a snack. No information of any sort in the room apart from from the Wi-Fi details.

great location, we took the partial sea view room and it was beautiful, we saw sunrise from the room.

The only problem we faced was we lost the keycard & were charges 10 pounds for a keycard which is costs free for the hotel

The team working at the hotel were lovely and so helpful and polite and happy. The room was large and had a great view of the sea, beachy head and the Pier. Bathroom was up a few stairs and lovely and big,

The room we booked was a double but with single beds. The head board banged on the wall every time I moved and my mattress was sunken so I had an awful nights sleep. I advised the lady on reception who said they would look into it. The room was quite dusty, table with water marks on it and the towel drier in the Bathroom. The eggs were runny at breakfast even though I ordered hard but to be fair was rectified quickly. Even with these issues we would go back as the staff were so lovely but improve the cleanliness and sort out the mattress please.

The room is quite small. We arrived at 2pm and the staff at reception simply told us it is hotel policy to check in after 3pm. She didn't bother to check if any room is ready. While we respect hotel policy, it would be nice if the staff is willing to make a bit of effort.

Quiet location. Our room was newly furnished and spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking permit £2.50 and lots of spaces on the road nearby.

El sitio es ideal, en el mismo paseo marítimo, un entorno muy agradable y tranquilo. La habitación amplia con una pequeña zona de estar que nos resultó muy práctica. El baño estaba reformado, con ventana, muy luminoso. Para el desayuno podíamos elegir distintas opciones entre desayuno inglés y una variedad de tostadas, excelente! El personal muy amable.

Bed uncomfortable, needs new mattresses or maybe mattress toppers. Toilet seat was loose fitting and not the right shape for the pan. Toilet roll holder was broken. Shower tray was slippery so could have done with a bath mat.

Une literie propre et confortable avec des sanitaires particulièrement propres (même si pour des raisons de place, le lavabo est séparé du reste de la douche et WC). Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner : vegetarian english breakfast qui était parfait !

Bathroom 310 was exceptionally tiny and the toilet stank of urine. Being told I had parked correctly with my permit and then receiving 2 parking tickets!

How close to the theatre

This was my second stay at this hotel. No one available for check-in and other people waiting to check out. The breakfast had uncooked sausages so not a great experience this time.

La chambre était très agréable avec vue sur la mer et grandes baies vitrées. Le personnel était charmant! Environnement très bruyant mais du à la préparation de la foire et du meeting aérien qui commençait le 13 aout.

La taille de la chambre et surtout de la salle de bain . L’absence de climatisation. Les produits de toilette très limités et le ménage fait à la va vite .

It was a standard room,but view was terrible,so if you stay we recommend a sea view and book months ahead for airshow

The location is superb, beach is nice and the stuff is very helpful and thoughtful (Winston, thank you!). The breakfast room was nice. There was plenty of parking around even despite some road closures, and hotel sells you very cheap permits.

The room is super tiny (tripple, or family room), there was literally no place to put the suitcases or if you do, you can't open the door. The room was accessible passing through the bar, which was not the best thing with the child in the evenings (nothing that bad, but it was noisy and smelled like beer). The breakfast had way to little options that included vegetables, and you had to wait for a really long time.

Very comfortable single room, with everything I needed for a 2 night break. Friendly staff. Both room, reception, stairwell clean and well presented.

Locatie was super, leuke restaurants en zee voor de deur.

Niet schoongemaakt tijdens verblijf. We hadden een oud bed wat kraakte en er zaten vieze vlekken in het tapijt

First of all I am surprised you have this place on your website that was the reason I booked it was because it was through your website .... but I will be more mindful next time.....we stayed in room 102 went in it was hot so went to open windows could only open one window WHICH is where the kitchen vent was and kept making a noise the other two windows was jammed and couldn't open them windows had cracks in them.. so then we went to put the tv on that kept buffing and bbc 1and2 wouldn't come on at all then in the toilet seat was broken and the blind on the window was dirty the breakfast wasn't good everything was cheap I wish I hadn't paid extra for that breakfast and just went out for breakfast... I WOULDN'T CLASS THIS PLACE AS A HOTEL...... MORE A BED AND BREAKFAST....

My second stay and a great hotel

Buona posizione per visitare il centro e i dintorni. Vari parcheggi nei dintorni (a pagamento).

Stanze senza a/c quindi molto caldo, con le finestre aperte entravano troppi rumori. Colazione base, solo inglese. Bagno molto piccole (standard in Inghilterra).

Posizione comoda sul lungomare e comoda per percorso delle Seven sisters che era quello per cui siamo venuti

Struttura un po' datata e non proprio pulita. Abbiamo trovato le tazze e cucchiaini sporchi. Hanno rifatto la stanza solo svuota doni cestini, senza rifare il letto.

No Air Con or fans in the room. The room I was in was on the ground floor at the back, there were lights on in the bathrooms of other rooms which kept my room light, as it was hot I had to keep the curtains open to let some air into the room !!

Die Lage ist super. Zur Promenade und dem Strand muss man lediglich die Straße überqueren. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Bei Sauberkeit und Ausstattung darf man keine zu großen Ansprüche haben.

Lovely people. Great view from our sea view twin bed room. Addressed both concerns - kettle and water issue - very quickly.

The original kettle we had was not up to standard. The room was very nice but a bit overpriced. The bed I slept on was not great and the duvet had a big red mark on it, but it wasn’t anything sinister so I didn’t complain. TV a bit small and not the most modern for a room that price.

the room was hot, the lady on her 40s was so unfriendly! it wasnt written in their policy that visitors wasn’t allowed! she was acting like a parent that no visitors allowed! like i wouldn’t ask a stranger to come to my room of course! i had to leave the hotel and booked another hotel coz i felt like i have a guardian on my vacation! like a curfew🤮 my friend who i asked to bring me stuffs coz i wasnt feeling well wasnt allowed to go up even i called the reception.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing view of the sea close to beach and nice shops and bar nearby but not in the main town but that was good. They offer a permit you can buy to park righr outside which is super helpful would stay again.

Room was very small with no air con although it was on the second floor and very hot. Had to sleep with the window open which made it extremely noisy until early hours of the morning due to very noisy neighbours. Reception obviously knew about this but still let the room which was disappointing.

First morning good but the following morning the requested poach eggs were hard and uneatable. Even with very few guest in the restaurant we were given a very small table, hardly room for four and certainly no room for the food.

We requested two Double room. The bed was not a double, more like a large single. The same for Both rooms.

We had a great stay! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Exceptionally clean, historical building, great location at the seafront with almost no distance to Eastbourne tennis tournament.

The bed was short and narrow, the room was rather small.
