Von all den Hotels während meiner Sri Lanka Reise war ich hiervon sehr enttäuscht. Bevor man das Zimmer überhaupt betritt, läuft man unter einem alten Kondensator und bekommt das eklige Wasser erstmal ab. Das Zimmer hat schlecht gerochen, Schimmel im Bad, alte Klimaanlage lies sich nicht umstellen und Ameisen im Bad als auch im Zimmer, welche ich im Nachgang noch in meine Sachen gefunden habe. Unter Ausstattung wird ein Fernseher aufgeführt, welcher einfach gefehlt hat.

The location was good and easily accessible. The room was clean and sheets and towels were clean.

The breakfast could have more choices, Cupboard in the room could have been bigger . there was a smell in the toilets.and no proper ventilation.

Fantastisk manager som hjälpte oss på bästa sätt. Stort rymligt rum. En bra frukost med stort fruktfat, Sri Lanka pannkakor etc. Nära till strand och restauranger.

Am așteptat pana seara la 20.00 sa preiau camera. Curățenia se face doar dând cu matura, nu exista igienizarea băii, toaletei. Geamurile sunt atât de jegoase ca abia vezi prin ele. În descrierea camere8 exista facilități care acum ma fac sa rad când citesc despre ele. Nu exista , pur și simplu sunt invenții.

Tout était bien, surtout le personnel. L'emplacement est bruyant à cause de la main road proche. Mais c'est comme ça tout le long de la côte. Les hôtel en face côté plage sont hors de prix

Personel was great! Very flexible, helpful and super chill!

Simple place close to the beach and different places to go out. We had two big beds room, it was spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh every morning. The pool is very warm and nice to sunbath. The staff is friendly and nice. We especially appreciated help of Kharuka who was very friendly, talkative and was helpful if we asked for some tips or arrange something for us.

It’s a simple place and would be better if it would be maintained better. The wifi almost never worked or had very poor connection that was only available outside of the room. The room had ants and very high humidity. It gets cleaned only if you ask. The place itself is on the main road so it’s noisy all day long, we slept with earplugs. Our room was on the ground so was not possible to open curtains otherwise everyone who walks in the hotel area can see through snide.

Nice location, big rooms.

There was no staff present in the property, you had to phone them if you wanted assistance, the rooms were bare without even tiles in the bathroom, no toiletries, no tea kettle to make TEA/ COFFEE, electrical switches also not properly designed, no reception or lobby in the hotel . Breakfast too limited choice.

De locatie is wat ver van het centrum af. Het hotel voelt niet af. Het is een betonnen blokkendoos zonder aankleding. In onze kamer stond letterlijk alleen een bed en een kledingrek, geen kleden of aankleding aan de muren.

Zeer ruime kamer met geweldig bed, goede badkamer met heerlijke douche.kamer 5 Waanzinnig ontbijt , zeer behulpzaam personeel

Accommodatie wordt verkocht als zijnde aan zee, dit is echter niet het geval. Ligt op een kleine 100 meter van mooi strand. Hotel ligt aan de hoofdweg welke je moet oversteken. Geen uitzicht op zee dus.

The room was facing the hall and close to the parking lot with big windows, even the room door had transparent glass, every noise sounded like it's in the room. The room had two twin bed, one was very comfortable but the second was very uncomfortable and we couldn't use it. The room was clean but with lots of bugs and ants.

Grande chambre familiale confortable. L'hôtel n'a pas spécialement de charme (il jouxte la route) mais il est très proche de la plage et la piscine est très chouette. Bonne opportunité d'un hôtel avec piscine à tarif raisonnable.

We experienced several issues during our stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, the staff seemed surprised that we had booked a room, and communication was difficult due to limited English skills. Although we had booked superior rooms, we were only provided with deluxe rooms. The general condition of the hotel and its facilities was disappointing, as everything appeared rather run-down and unclean. This was particularly noticeable at the pool and the surrounding chill-out area. During breakfast, only tap water was offered to us and our one-year-old child; bottled water was provided only after repeated requests. The carpets in the room were also in very poor condition and noticeably dirty. At check-out, we were even asked to leave a positive review because other guests had previously given negative feedback, which felt unprofessional. In addition, several of the advertised amenities did not match reality. The windows were described as soundproof, but as the hotel is located directly on a busy main road, this was clearly not the case. A flat-screen TV, which was listed as part of the room equipment, was also missing. Overall, our experience did not meet expectations, and we would not consider staying at this hotel again.

Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker.

Ligt wat verder van het centrum van Ahangama, maar wel op loop afstand langs een drukke weg.

Excellent breakfast and super comfortable beds. Staff was really attentive with a small issue we had in the room and solved it at the moment.

The room doesn’t look like the picture they have in booking

the location has a very nice pool with a shallow area where our daughter (1.5 years) could play. You can walk to the beach and restaurants are within walking distance. Ahangama is 1.5 kilometers away. With the tuktuk maximum 5 minutes. Room also nice and spacious and not much trouble from the very busy road.

Our air conditioning made a lot of noise. That was not ideal. Also the location has much more potential. The staff that walks around is helpful if you ask for it but the place offers a lot of space to make much more of it. If there was a little more attention for the people and the beautiful terrain, they would score much higher. Still a very nice place and good value for money.

We loved our stay at the Crystal Oceanic. We had a family room on the first floor, two king beds in there, spacious room. Breakfast was super good!! The guys running the place did such a good job! The most beautiful fruit plate to start off and then other goodies to follow. Location was great!! Super close to the best Ahangama beach. Literally less than 5 mins walk. About one km away from the hustle (the busy bit) in Ahangama. Really enjoyed our stay! Definitely would recommend and go back there next year :) Thank you!

Amazing breakfast and the staff very kindly accommodated me checking in early after arriving straight from the airport. Super friendly staff, clean, big room!

We are so pleased we booked Crystal Oceanic. We stayed in the deluxe family room which was very spacious. The beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful which is often not the case in SL! The breakfast is great too. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to a large beach. There are so many great restaurants around, every meal out we had was incredible. The best food in SL so far. (Townhouse, Dad & Sun, Little Bang Kitchen, Ceylon Sliders) We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for another 2 nights.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious and very generous. They assisted me with my luggage and were always there for anything I needed. The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower was great—everything you could hope for in a stay!

Room was big. Breakfast was decent. Staff were friendly and beds were comfortable.

The property in general didn’t feel very clean. It seems that some maintenance, small repairs are needed here and there around the hotel. Also, the noise from the road is a bit bothering.

The staff is outstanding. I spontaneously asked them if they could do anything special for the breakfast the next morning since it was my partners birthday and they provided a cake and candles and didn't even charge me later. Beds are very comfortable and they had turned the AC on prior to our departure which was a nice touch

It’s so clean and the rooms are very large with big balconies too! You get a lot of choice for breakfast and the staff are super friendly. It’s right in the middle of the all the fun, a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the shops, but the resort itsself is so tucked away and pretty you don’t feel like you’re on the main strip. Would definitely book here again!

The pool could have been cleaned more often and more sun beds or sun loungers to chill on! Definitely an easy upgrade that would make the place even more amazing.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The bedroom was clean and spacious, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. We had a few setbacks with the door lock, AC remote, and the room fan, but it was all sortrd out within minutes. Excellent service.

New are v comfortable & showers really good. Loud noise kept us awake the first night but it was fixed & they moved us to a better room. Breakfast lovely lots of fresh fruit & eggs with toast. Staff excellent.lively young guy running it , can’t remember his name but he speaks great English & is willing to fix any problem.
