Wonderful hosts! We received a super warm welcome and felt right at home straight away. A great place to stay, decorated with a lot of love. The breakfast is amazing, with a large selection of fresh items. The hosts are also always available to share great tips for excursions and restaurants.

Boende i en vacker gammal byggnad. Härlig miljö vid frukost och pool. Ligger i ett lugnt område med gångavstånd till restauranger. Kan varmt rekommenderas.

Super schöne Unterkunft, sehr netter Gastgeber, mega Frühstück. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich richtig gut! und das Frühstück hervorragend. So einen tollen selbstgemachten Obstsalat haben wir noch nie bekommen.

Wenn ich es eine Kleinigkeit gäbe -und das ist jammern auf ganz hohem Niveau - wäre es ein Schokoaufstrich zu den tollen Croissants und eine 'richtige' Verdunklungsmöglichkeit im Zimmer.

Ich habe mich noch nie so abgeholt gefühlt wie hier! Ein kleines Paradies, mit viel Liebe zum Detail in einer wunderschönen sicheren Gegend. Das Frühstück ist nicht zu überbieten. Henry und sein Team sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell - einfach großartig!

Phantastisch!! Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Sehr schöne Anlage mit Pool, die zum Seele baumeln einlädt. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der sich sich um seine Gäste kümmert. Zuvorkommendes Personal, leckeres Frühstück, bequeme Betten und alles liebevoll dekoriert. Vielen Dank für alles!

Das Frühstück war sehr delikat und reichhaltig, frische Speisen und leckere Getränke und perfekter Service. Die Lage war ruhig und vor allem am Abend fühlte man sich auch außerhalb der Unterkunft zu jeder Zeit sicher. Gute Restaurants waren fußläufig erreichbar und ebenfalls sehr gut. Der Besitzer stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und war auch bei Buchungen für Ausflüge behilflich. Er hatte jede Menge Tips parat. Rundherum ein "sorglos Paket". Jederzeit wieder und absolut zu empfehlen.

Entzückende Viktorianische Villa mit Pool und Garten in bester Lage! Der Gastgeber Henry betreut seine Gäste jeden Tag unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam und gibt einem das Gefühl, dass man hier Urlaub bei Freunden macht. Nach ein paar Tagen fühlt man sich bereits wie zuhause:-) Die Reservierungen für Restaurants waren ausgezeichnet, alle anderen Tips und Empfehlungen ebenso. Hervorzuheben ist das liebevoll servierte Frühstück mit hochwertigen Produkten vom Gastgeber mit Sorgfalt ausgesucht ! Wenn man es etwas persönlicher mag und den Charme einer alten Villa schätzt ist man bei Henry und seinen netten Mitarbeitern bestens aufgehoben.

Location near Kloof street. Pretty house with nice shaded courtyard with lemon tree, nice pool with plenty sunloungers in shade or sun. Big breakfast area. Excellent breakfast and good coffee. Henry very friendly and helpful advice. Lovely modern bathroom

The hosts were very welcoming and helped with enquiries about activities. Also helped to retrieve some binoculars left in the taxi after a trip around the Cape Peninsula. We loved the front courtyard and the pool area, although didn’t have enough time to use the pool. The two bedrooms, with en suite facilities, were very comfortable.

No dislikes. Neighbourhood and property felt safe and secure.

Excellent location: quiet and safe area, you can reach lions head and Signal hill with a 30min walk up from the house (beautiful views) and getting into town or out to explore is easy. The breakfast was fresh, and delicious - the scrambled eggs are out of this world! Finall, the host and staff and just wonderful. Helpful and funny 😁

Die Lage der Unterkunft und Sauberkeit der Unterkunft war sehr gut - das ausgedehnte Frühstück haben wir sehr genossen ! V.a hat uns Henris freundliche und fachkundige Art sehr geholfen- sein Insiderwissen ist enorm-dieses hat uns unsere 4Tage in Kapstadt optimal ausnutzen lassen ! Wir kämen immer wieder!!!

Einfach alles hat uns gefallen , kann man wärmstens empfehlen . Tolle Atmosphäre und immer gute Tipps vom Gastgeber! Jederzeit wieder ! Bis zum nächsten Mal !!!

Unglaublicher Gastgeber, man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause! Alles außergewöhnlich sauber, sehr nettes Personal, geniales Frühstück, top ausgestattet, neu renoviert - einfach fantastisch!

The included breakfasts were outstanding! Menu items offered in addition to a gorgeous spread of local delicacies. Simply wonderful. Our host, Henry, made this stay very memorable. Will absolutely return.

What an oasis! Beautifully decorated, peaceful and brilliantly located, with a lovely garden to relax in, and a brilliant breakfast. Host (and dog!) were very friendly and helpful, and we loved being able to hike to Signal Hill and Lion's Head directly from the house itself.

Für uns stimmt hier alles. Ruhige Wohngegend, freundlicher Empfang, ein Schmuckstück von einer Villa mit Pool und nettem Innenhof mit riesigen Zitronenbäumen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und liebevoll gestaltet, Blümchen auf dem Nachttisch etc. Dusche ausgezeichnet. Eine kleine Selfservice Station mit Getränken und Snacks , hier kann man noch ein Bierchen oder Wein kaufen und vor dem Kamin den Abend ausklingen lassen. Gutes Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Ein angenehmer Plausch mit dem sympathischen Gastgeber Henry, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Bij binnenkomst land je al meteen op de mediterrane binnentuin (zie foto). Ik werd daar overvallen doorheen diepe rust. Gastheer Henry verstaat de kunst je op een totaal natuurlijke manier te bombarderen tot zijn belangrijkste gast. Dit is thuiskomen, 10.000 km van huis. Goddelijke plek en uitzonderlijke gastvrijheid.,

Vriendelijke ontvangst, fantastisch huis, mooi ingerichte kamer, perfecte locatie en alle faciliteiten aanwezig.

We were amazed at the beautiful situation of the guest house so close to Lion's Head, with great cafés and restaurants within walking distance, yet absolutely quiet and safe high above the bustle of town. We loved everything about the beautifully restored house, our spacious rooms and bathrooms, the lounge and the breakfast room with the fantastic breakfast buffet. The pool in the palm-studded garden looked inviting, too, but it was a little cold still in August. Next time! A big thanks to Henry & his team for the warm welcome and for providing such a marvellous haven in the city bowl of Cape Town.

It doesn’t get better than this anywhere. The place is lovely, the breakfasts delicious and tailor-made to your taste, and the hosts, Henry and Andrea, friendly, entertaining, attentive, and ridiculously generous on your every request - to the point of going shopping for hardware for you and arranging transport around town. I’ll be back.

Superb location Great 'boho' relaxed atmosphere, especially in the main house. Exceptional breakfasts. Henry and Andrea are wonderfully warm and convivial hosts. Lovely to have fresh flowers from the garden on our towels and by our beds on arrival.

Amazing breakfast buffet - loved having breakfast over looking the beautiful garden with lush greenery and wonderful pool. The facility has several outdoor and indoor seating areas. Local cafe a few steps away and Kloof Neck and Kloof street within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

This is a gorgeous little guesthouse in a great location. The breakfasts were fantastic and very generous, and the staff were extremely helpful. It was also spotlessly clean.

Wonderful staff, great breakfast. Comfortable room and beds. Spacious and bright common areas. Nice location in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Used Ubers to get around. Parking is on the street but there is plenty of room.

Beautifully appointed villa- a feast for the eyes, soul and body. Breakfasts were fabulous. Karen and Henry, the hosts, were. exceptionally helpful and kind. We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable stay.

We had a very warm welcome from Henry since we arrived. We liked every areas of the guesthouse. The bed was comfortable and warm. The living room was nice and we can enter anytime. Breakfast was fantastic and I had an opportunity to make Thai style omelette in the kitchen. Henry also arranged for day trip and to see sunset for us. Very nice and professional driver guides , Kenny and William made our trips in Cape Town ..perfect!!! I recommended !

The Villa was beautiful and the staff were all really friendly. The owners made me feel extremely welcome. Although the pool was cold, it was also really refreshing and in a lovely garden.

Beautiful setting, decor, attention to detail.

The owner of this place, Henry, has nailed this property to the top of my mast. Everything was just perfect. I will never look anywhere else in Capetown.

Everything other than the room was a bit cold. There was a space heater but it wasn’t sufficient to warm the entire space.

Great location, great breakfast, comfortable bed, and very good service.

In the winter time when we were here in August, it was a little chilly in the room and the bathroom did not have a heater, which is apparently a South Africa thing so little bit cold but OK.

The attention to details, an excellent breakfast with home produced jams , organic granola etc the host's ( Henry) welcoming banter and good advice. The location, close to some excellent restaurants. What's not to love?

I really enjoyed staying at Mediterranean Villa Guesthouse. It's an intimate, very clean, beautiful establishment with lots of fruit trees and plants where local birds can visit and guests get to enjoy. The host was gracious, friendly, and personable, offering lots of information about the area and things to do. The daily breakfast spread is superb. It was plenty for me, offering fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, specialty coffees, and much more. In addition, a hot breakfast is offered as well. I appreciate the hospitality and will definitely stay again when visiting Capetown.

The very friendly and warm welcome from the staff. The amazing breakfast in a beautiful ambiance helps to make a superb start of your day in Capetown. From all the neighbourhoods in Capetown, we liked this one the most as it is relatively quite and it has quite some great restaurants on walking distance from the villa. The Lion's head hill climb is also very close!

Charming hosts and staff went out of their way to ensure my staff was good. Beautiful gardens and rooms. Extra touch of water and nuts as a welcome.

Breakfast only starts at 8am - for business or sight seeing an earlier breakfast would suit better.

I loved the breakfast, the garden, the bathroom, the staff, the bed, the towels. It was all perfect

The room itself was a disappointment: no airco. no television, no cupboard, blinds that could not be closed, no curtains, only a net curtain that came half off the rails. Towel rack in the room but two small for the towels. Energy lamp that should work during load shedding did not work.

Its a beautiful and truly Mediterranean get away in a nice calm neighborhood and very friendly persons (German speaking). The breakfast was extraordinary good and healthy, very good coffee, too. We would definitely recommend to stay here - also to be able to see sweet little dog Charly!

It might be more expensive than others, but with the breakfast included we liked the value getting for our money.
