HITrental Marktplatz Apartments

We loved the apartment, it felt very calm and relaxing. The balcony with the view over the courtyard was particularly beautiful. Everything was super tidy and comfortable.

It would be good to have a bread knife added to the selection.

Good location in the old town. But that's about it. Basel is a lovely city though!

The bathroom sink was totally clogged, really gross. Imagine brushing your teeth or washing your face with a sink full of dirty water. Yuck! Also, no fan in the bathroom and it smelled terribly of mold. The same for the kitchen sink, totally clogged. Hard to do dishes in a clogged sink. No paper towels for the kitchen, we had to buy our own. Who doesn't have paper towels in the kitchen? But the trip started off on a bad note, which did not help The email instructions on how to arrive at the apartment were wrong. The tram stop they said to get off at,"Marktplatz", has been closed for 5 months due to construction. So you have to get off at the next stop after Marktplatz. Way, way too long of a walk. But that would have been nice to know in advance. How is it that the owners could not make the smallest effort and update the instructions on how to arrive at the apartment? This is an apartment that is remotely managed. There is no one on site. If you need something, you need to telephone someone, but there is no one there after 21:00. This is a very poorly managed property.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of the old town, and it was very easy to get to from both the airport and the main train station. The apartment was extremely clean! Honestly, the cleanest apartment we’ve ever stayed in :D It was spacious, with plenty of beds in all rooms (great for a family with 2+ kids) and the beds themselves were very comfortable. The kitchen was also really well equipped with everything we needed, including pots and other essentials. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the host was super nice, responsive, and very easy to communicate with.

We really have nothing negative to say. The only small thing worth mentioning is that the booking information didn’t say that a baby crib was available, so we didn’t request one in advance. However, we contacted the host the day after arriving, and they were very quick to bring one for us.

Excellent location in the middle of the town but still quiet.

The customer service team were responsive and supportive in every request that I made .

A bit spartan

Nuostabi vieta, centre viską galima pasiekti pėstute. Apartamentai švarūs, yra visko ko reikia, wifi stiprus. Dvigubi langai apsaugo nuo triukšmo, be to būtų tikrai sudėtinga.

Nakčiai buvom palikę atidarytus langus, tai buvo triukšmas: apie vidurnaktį žmonės garsiai kalba šalia esančiame bare, tai apie pirmą nakties šiukšles pradeda vežti, apie 5 val. ryto veža šalia esančiam barui/restoranui kažkokias prekes. Todėl atsidarius langus sunkiai būtų galima ramiai miegoti. Na chek-in galėtų būti lengvesnis, nes laiškais komonikacija greita, paprasta ir aiški, tačiau vietoje galėtų būti ir sklandžiau :) Jei niekur neskubi, tai viskas ok :)

Excellent location. Close to everything, and very quiet. Good little area to sit in the fresh air. Plenty of space and good kitchen facilities.

De huis was heerlijk groot en netjes de bedden waren lekker schoon de dikbedden waren heel netjes de woonkamer had slaapkamer banken mijn zoon slaap heerlijk op en de badkamer was heel groot en lekker wij waren echt blij in de huis .

Alleen grote probleem was parkeren die had niet was heel moeilijk en de dichtbij parkeerplaats was heel duur en wij waren met kleine kind we konden niet bij de ingang van huis komen met auto maar gelopen gekomen en was ook regen helaas en de badkamer stanken door te dicht was had geen raampje of iets de vers lucht binnen komen helaas

Ca o sugestie: nu funcționează ventilatorul din baie și ar trebui niște agățătoare pt prosoape. De asemenea sunt camere video la intrarea în clădire și la etaj la intrarea în camera (și pentru cealaltă cameră).Unde este intimitatea?

The location is superb, the bed is very comfortable and the facilities are good. It is close to nice restaurants and only a short walk to the river and other attractions. Despite being on a pedestrian thoroughfare, it is very quiet.

The television (which we did not use or need) is poorly located and the corners protrude into the room.

يمكن العيب الوحيد ان السياره ما توقف تحت البيت تحتاج مشي خصوصا لو سياره خاصة بس لو تاكسي بازل اتوقع عاذي

The apartment was wonderful—spacious, clean, very comfortable, and perfectly located in the heart of Basel. It had everything we needed, and we truly felt at home. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly stay here again!

Dobra lokalizacja do zwiedzania miasta.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top, zentral und dennoch angenehm ruhig.

Die Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien, so fehlt ein Brotmesser oder ein Krug/ Kanne.

Trevlig lägenhet med mycket bra läge. Mycket prisvärt för Basel.

Dålig ventilation i lägenheten, speciellt badrummet. Mycket varmt och instängt med stängt fönster. Vissa delar av köksutrustningen var ganska slitna och hade kunnat bytas ut (exempelvis teflonpannor och mycket slöa knivar som behöver slipning).

No me gusto que me enviaran una informacion de los medios de transporte para llegar al apartamento sabiendo que no funcionaba ninguno por estar de obras en ese tramo de la ciudad. No me gusto que al recoger las llaves del buzon que me dijeron con la clave correspondiente no dijeran que para entrar al portal habia que utilizar un sensor incorporado en la cabecera de la llave y no me gusto que no hubiera ninguna luz en la puerta de entrada al edificio y de noche no se se ve absolutamente nada.

The apartment was great. Wide, safe comfortable with a wide bathroom. The location is fantastic. We definitely recommend it!

I believe the check-in process could be smoother, as we spent too much time on paying for the city taxes.

Location, size, cleanliness, price wise . Easy access with a code to get the keys. Everything near the apartment. The only downside is the parking, if you come by car. I parked our car in the “Fine Arts Museum car park”. Maybe not the closest, nor the cheapest and it can be a hassle with big baggage. But it’s quite good car park (big and bright). But overall I would definitely stay here again!

Konumu şehrin tam merkezinde, Rathaus vb. 5 dk yürüme mesafesi, ana tren istasyonundan tramvayla çok kısa mesafede. Girişte şifre ile kutudan anahtarımızı aldık ve kolayca giriş yaptık. Alt katta çamaşır ve kurutma makinası olması çok iyi oldu, tabi kendi deterjanınızı getirmeniz gerekli. Ama odada kahve, bulaşık makinası deterjanı, bez, banyoda sabun, şampuan vardı. Oda oldukça sıcaktı ama iki adet vantilatör vardı. Ütü, kattle, kahve makinası, pişirme gereçleri mevcut, kahvaltılarımızı odada yaptık. Balkonlu odada kaldık 4 kişi için gayet yeterliydi, balkonda oturmak keyifliydi.

Mutfakta tavanın içi oldukça yıpranmıştı, yenilenmesi iyi olur. Yastıklar fazla inceydi, ekstra yastık bırakılabilinir.

We had a pleasant stay overall and were happy with the hotel.

The bed was unfortunately not comfortable at all. There is no headboard, and the pillows are very thin and quite poor quality. Because there is nothing behind the bed to support them, they literally keep falling behind the bed during the night, which makes sleeping quite uncomfortable.

Klima yok

Nice big windows. Spacious room. Well equipped kitchen. Good to have use of a washing machine. Very helpful to have plug adaptors provided, because we didn’t know Switzerland had different sockets to other countries in Europe!

It was super hot when we were there, and although there were fans, air conditioning would have been amazing. The shower tended to flood the bathroom so couldn’t have it on full power, although it was a nice shower nonetheless.

Stanze spartane . Arrivati alle 16 la stanza non era pronta . 38 gradi a Basilea e 30 gradi nella stanza , che a nostra sorpresa era sprovvista di climatizzatore. Abbiamo contattato la struttura per un altro ventilatore e ci hanno risposto che nessuno poteva portarcelo , Ci siamo accorti che mancava un guanciale lo abbiamo richiesto e non ce l’hanno Portato ! Di seguito le foto anche della chat senza nessuna risposta . Il bagno disastroso, senza ventola senza finestra senza aria rimasto bagnato tutta notte . Posizione ottima . Struttura SCONSIGLIATA

L'appartement était trop petit.

Pas de climatisation

Net i cèntric.

Un únic espai per quatre persones. No té aire condicionat. Era imprescindible amb la calor que feia. Amb els estius que fa,caldria adaptar la climatització.

De ligging en het feit dat het ruim was.

Airco, of het ontbreken ervan. Het was zo warm dat we nauwelijks konden slapen.

Rent og pent. Gode senger, stor uteplass. Enkelt å sjekke inn med kode. Veldig sentralt og supert med Basel-card som gjør at man reiser gratis med buss mm.

Ingen ventilasjon i funksjon på badet eller i leiligheten forøvrig.

Dat je er niet met de auto in de buurt kunt komen, en dat je vanaf 5 uur niet meer kunt slapen vanwege de vrachtwagens die overal gaan laden en lossen met extreem veel herrie.

In het appartent is geen airco aanwezig. Wel een ventilator.

Très bon emplacement au cœur de la vieille ville.

Appartement très chaud et pas de climatisation. Impossible de dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes alors que les restaurants en bas de l'immeuble sont très bruyants. La housse du canapé-lit était sale. Communication compliquée pour régler la taxe de séjour.

De locatie is uitstekend, midden in het centrum en de voorzieningen zijn geweldig. Heel attent dat er ook adapters aanwezig waren voor de Zwitserse stopcontacten, dat zullen veel toeristen niet weten en dan sta je bij HITrental niet voor verrassingen.
