Un peu loin du centre mais au calme

Elke ochtend kregen we weer een sri lankaans ontbijt wat net anders was dan de dag ervoor. Elke dag was het weer even lekker. Onze kinderen speelden graag met de kinderen van Himansa, ze vonden het zo leuk, ze wilden eigenlijk niet meer mee de omgeving ontdekken.

Goed om te weten dat er een hoge trap belopen moet worden voordat je bij het huisje bent. Himansa brengt zelf je koffers naar boven, dat doet hij super snel. Het uitzicht boven is prachtig.

Uzasna rodina, ktera se o nas skvele starala, kazdy den po navratu z vyletu nam pripravili caj, kavu a susenky. Snidane jsou vyborne a velice stedre Ubytovani je prijemne, hned vedle bydli majitele, do centra 20 minut pesky. Pan majitel ma tuk tuk, tak nas svezl z mesta a odvezl i na delsi vylet. Urcite doporucuji.

Such a lovely family that looked after us so well. Hidden away high up on the hillside, nature surrounding, big tasty breakfasts and the host has his own tuk tuk also to make things easier!

Lovely family, peaceful setting in the hills, amazing view of Lil Adam's Peak. Downhill 25 min walk to town or owner can drop you off by tuk tuk as well. Abundant & delicious breakfast. Spacious & clean room.

Very pleasant accommodation in the middle of truly wild nature, where you can watch monkeys and squirrels during breakfast. It is amazing in what place they manage to build accommodation and that even in such conditions the accommodation is clean and very nice. The hosts were very nice and their children of course too. For us, used to European standards, it is interesting to see what space is sometimes enough for children and yet they look very satisfied. The breakfasts were very good and the portions more than sufficient.

The breakfast was amazing. Cool view with monkeys and birds.

Beds and floors were not clean. After we asked for new sheeds we got new ones. Sometimes there was no water.

Super stay in a cottage among greenery with beautiful views of Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak, great breakfast and dinner. Hosts very friendly, we felt like visiting family.

- real authentic homestay, you'll live next round the family - price is very cheap, compared to other homestays in the area (5 dollar pp) - hosting family is absolutely heartwarming, especially the kids. You will have no choice but to play with them and jump around :). They will give you lots of flowers and conquer your heart at once 🥰 - location is good, quick ride to the city (you can rent a scooter there for a fair price) - nice view through the trees to the valley, you can observe monkeys and lots of squirrels - classic, rich Sri Lankan breakfast

- just be aware to climb some steep steps to the location - one double bed is a bit smaller than the other, but good for a couple or if you like to cuddle - the place is nice but not super spacious

Amazing experience in a lovely home stay. A local tasty breakfast and comfortable clean room. The family thet live nextdoor is really cute and do everything to make you fill like home. The place is far from the centre but the owner arranged scooters for us in the best price thet we found in ella and this make our experience even better 😉 Great value for money 😊
