Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. A shuttle service from the parking area or from the train station can be provided upon request by the hotel between 8 am and 5 pm and against a surcharge.
In the mid-season (May/June and October) the elevator to the village center may have limited use.
There is currently a construction site with a crane in close proximity to our hotel. The work may temporarily affect the view from some rooms.

الافطار غير غني كونتيننتل، المسبح مياة غير ساخنة على الرغم ذكر انها ساخنة، الساونا غير عاملة كل الوقت يجب طلب مسبق قبل بيوم وتحديد الساعة.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Situation calme, avec vue. Ascenseur pour rejoindre le centre de Zermatt très pratique, à 5 mn de la gare et de la rue principale. Grand balcon au sud. Bon petit déjeuner. Avions réservé deux chambres et une à été upgradée gracieusement, merci. Décor très chalet suisse !
Un petit réfrigérateur manque. De petites bouteilles d'eau dans la chambre pourraient être mises à disposition chaque jour et pas seulement le premier soir ...

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Das Hotel bietet eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Matterhorn – bei gutem Wetter ein echtes Highlight. Das Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich, und das Personal durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders praktisch ist der Lift vom Dorf Zermatt, der den etwas abenteuerlichen Zugang deutlich angenehmer macht und einen anstrengenden Aufstieg erspart – gerade mit Gepäck ein großer Vorteil. Insgesamt: Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit fantastischem Matterhorn-Blick, gutem Frühstück, freundlichem Personal und einer cleveren Liftanbindung. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026There is a small lift! Breakfast is provided! Theres an indoor area that I can sit with my dog at for breakfast! There’s also a nice sauna and pool that I didn’t use.
The location is not amazing if you are leaving/arriving at your hotel past 6pm. The lift from Zermatt station doesn’t work past that time. I arrived in zermatt at 12am and hiked up the rocky roads with my luggage and dog in tow.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Par malchance une grue de travaux était juste devant notre fenêtre, altérant la vue que nous souhaitions sur le Cervin.
Ce n'est pas de la faute de l'hôtel mais sur la terrasse des voisins, le premier soir ils sont rentrés à 3h du matin et se sont mis sur leur terrasse en parlant trés fort, le lendemain soir c'était la terrasse du dessous où les gens fumaient en continu et nous étions vraiment génés en ouvrant les fenêtres alors que nous dormions les fenêtres ouvertes.

As a booking.com customer I feel I was given the worst room in the hotel. I had a view of a brick wall and the room smelt mouldy. At breakfast my designated table was behind the coffee station next to a Dyson vacuum cleaner. This is despite better tables remaining unoccupied. I generally find the facilities and service in Swiss hotels to be excellent, but not on this occasion.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Friendly staff, great shuttle servie to/from train station. Geat breakfast selection. Use of elevator to access the Zermatt town level made it an easy walk to central Zermatt.
Disappointed the pool and hot tub were only open to 8pm. Between daily activities and dinner times was not able to relax in the hot tub. If could be open till 9:30 pm would make the area more accessible.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Had 3rd floor room and the location to view the Matterhorn, even though there is a construction crane that is building a hotel nearby. Very clean with great staff!! The light breakfast was very good as well as the pool and hot tub. Easy to get town using the hotel tunnel. Call ahead and use the complimentary shuttle from/to the train station.
No complaints.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026高台にあるため、マッターホルンを綺麗にみることができる。2026年6月末時点で、目の前に工事用クレーンがあるが、少し横にずれているので、気にならなかった。 また、ツェルマット駅に10分で行ける。高台からは、隣のホテルのエレベーターを使うことができ、スーパーに行く時などとても重宝した。

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026兩年前住過景觀很棒，躺在床上可以看到馬特洪峰，這次訂之前其實知道隔壁剛好在蓋房子，會有起重機擋住馬特洪峰，訂房時飯店有圖片提醒，雖然如此還是定了，果然起重機完美擋住馬特洪峰，但因為早就知道了所以不以為意，只覺得很好笑，也是期間限定的特殊經驗~ 飯店位置不太需要再走去觀景點了，飯店位置已經很高了，飯店前一段路風景也很好拍，飯店旁邊有電梯可以直達山下，回飯店只需按隧道門鈴，跟他說你是alpenroyal的旅客就會幫你開了。入住跟退房都有免費接駁電車，但要在服務時間內，搭乘接駁車不用自己提行李上來很棒
好像有兩棟，裡面那棟沒電梯，剛好住到比較裡面的，還好才搬兩層。早餐如果有熱食就好了

The crane - however the bow you had of the Matterhorn was still good. And everything else made up for it.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026the view of the room facing Matterhorn was amazing. the room was very spacious and well-equipped for our family (three travellers). there was ample space for us to sit and enjoy the view. the buffet breakfast had a variety of local delicacies. the staff on-sites were friendly and always ready to answer questions. most importantly, when we experienced power loss - staff member responded to it very quickly. the indoor pool spa and sauna were very pleasant. we had a huge balcony with an amazing view.
construction nearby that obscured partially the view of the matterhorn (this was communicated in advance by the hotel though) and some may find getting to the main street is a bit of a walk (through passages)
