We booked 3 nights and were all allocated rooms downstairs which wasn’t too pleasant. My son and daughter were moved upstairs to a better room. Not sure why we all weren’t upstairs. Shower wasn’t great.

The location is very beautiful.

Tucked away on a quiet little street, there is a wonderful guesthouse with a truly home-like atmosphere. We experienced genuine hospitality, openness, and very high quality. The owners live on the property and are always available, responding positively to every request. On our first night we arrived at 3 a.m., and the owner was waiting for us and answering the phone. One evening, they even taught us a traditional dance. The rooms are clean, and the local food is absolutely delicious — the best we had in Sri Lanka. We highly, highly recommend this place.

这里的老板是我见过最好的老板，每天笑嘻嘻，有求必应，房间干净整洁，值得一提的是热水洗澡特别舒服，早餐丰富又美味，晚餐我们自己买了鱼，老板允许我们用他的厨房，非常感谢，下次来我们还会住这里。

山里有蚊子和蚂蚁，这不是他们的错，有蚊帐不影响睡觉

Todo está limpio, tienen baño en las habitaciones. El desayuno estupendo (lo puedes pedir sin picante). La gente muy amable! El entorno muy tranquilo, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta que la ciudad es muy turística.

La chambre familiale est très humide et se situe au sous sol sans fenêtre

Vue magnifique pour le petit déjeuner et petit déjeuner lui même très bon et copieux. Les chambres du haut ont vue sur le paysage et ont l’air agréables. Gérants à l’écoute et sympathiques.

Nous avions deux chambres à l’étage inférieur et elles étaient sans fenêtre avec une forte odeur de moisi. Le wifi dans les chambres était très lent voire inexistant par moments. Nous devions remonter d’un étage pour nous connecter. Très bruyant, tant le soir avec les autres occupants que certains matins tôt… L’hôtel est très excentré d’Ella.

Pretty new place with an excellent view. We had delicious breakfast and dinner also. It’s a bit far from the city but with a TukTuk you can get there in 5 mins. Recommended😊

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Viyanga Home Stay for a 1-day vacation, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable accommodation experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the resort's location as well as the owner Mr Sampath, the view from my room was absolutely breathtaking. The resort itself blends modern luxury with natural elements, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious room was decorated in calming tones, with large windows that allowed natural light to flood the space. The beds were incredibly comfortable. In conclusion, I highly recommend Viyanga Home Stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the area!

Such an amazing home stay at Viyanga! Beautiful welcoming family. Delicious breakfast with a view each morning and an amazing cooking class with Pabasara. I have stayed here twice now and I have been very impressed both times

Our stay at Viyanga homestay was simply amazing! Rooms were clean and spacious, communication was easy, breakfast was rich and tasty. Owners of the homestay were super helpful. They prepared tasty typical Sri Lanka food for dinner for us (for a decent price) and helped us to arrange transportation to the east coast. Can highly recommend 😊10/10

The hosts were very nice and kind people. They cooked dinner for us and it was delicious! The breakfast was also very good. We really enjoyed our stay here!!
