Amazing location in the heart of Chipping Camden! The room itself was large and comfortable and very clean. The instructions for arrival and getting in were very clear and easy to execute. And the staff were lovely.

The breakfast was a great touch.

La habitación era muy acogedora con la cama y muebles muy bonitos. El baño grande nuevo y cómodo. El personal atento y el desayuno y su forma de organizarlo me parecieron fantástico. La ubicación excelente.

Quizás la habitación algo pequeña para tanto mueble. Y la entrada al alojamiento un poco escondida aunque te explican muy bien el acceso.

The room was immaculate, large, great view over the street. Staff all friendly , and we enjoyed having breakfast delivered to our room. Location spot on. No problem parking.

The beds were so tiny and uncomfortable. The room had no ventilation.it is next to a restaurant and as you walk in it wreaked of burning fat.

Overall everything the owner, was nice and professional. The property was clean, well decorated. The only issue we found the vanity unit in bathroom damaged. Im sure at some stage it will be replaced. The breakfast was excellent. We planning to stay there again.

Beautifully presented and decorated hotel with a sumptuous breakfast. Perfectly situated in the heart of Chipping Camden. The room also featured a fridge which we were not expecting and which was much appreciated.

Just a couple of tiny points...a light would be useful outside of the property so the key safe box is visible when dark. There was no dedicated dressing table in the bedroom which would have been much appreciated along with improved lighting for doing hair and makeup.

The location in the village was excellent.

There was no sign. When we inquired at the Wool Market's restaurant, we were given a surly and sarcastic response from the person working there. Rather than telling us where the reception was he mocked us for trying to check into a restaurant. As we had just made a sweaty +10km hike from Broadway in 34 degree weather, he could have opted to be more helpful. It was my fault that I hadn't carefully read the description. This is more of an air bnb, not a hotel. We arrived on a sunday afternoon and there was literally no one there to assist us. A fellow traveller helped us. The amenities were fine, but for the amount being charged it is overpriced. We had just come from an outstanding historic hotel in Broadway with exceptional service and after walking all day, we arrived at basically a self-serve airbnb which cost us the same amount. This was our last stop on the cotswold way and it was very much a denouement.

Everything about the stay was perfect. It was a nice room with the veranda outside. Really cute. it was in the high street, walk into the street where it is quiet but quaint. really lovely village. the ladies who bought breakfast were lovely. i was just a nice stay. perfect!

Couldn't get in for 45 mins due to no key left for us no-one answering the telephone numbers we tried very expensive for what it is, misleading on description of the view we thought we'd have no underfloor heating

Alles was prima in orde. Als ik toch één opmerking zou geven: het tafeltje waarop het ontbijt werd geserveerd in de kamer was aan de kleine kant hiervoor. En onze 2de kamer had geen afstandsbediening voor de tv omdat er geen batterijen in zaten.

Stayed at ground floor with limited air circulation. The hotel’s restaurant has dining tables outside our room. So opening the windows are not possible due to the noise and smell. The breakfast was ok but not a nice experience since we had to eat at our dark and hot room.

Coqueto hotel en medio de un pintoresco pueblo de los Costwold. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y cuidadas al detalle. La bañera para sumergirte después de un caluroso día fue fantástica. El restaurante que hay a la entrada de comida griega es maravilloso, la comida riquísima y sus camareros ( algunos españoles) fueron encantadores. El desayuno es de otro planeta, servido con un gusto y un mimo enorme ademas de estar delicioso. Todo el personal fue encantador y la dueña tuvo un detalle precioso cuál fue darnos unas botellas de agua fresca para el viaje ( hacía un calor horrible). Para repetir sin duda.

Que solo pudimos estar una noche, nos hubiéramos quedado más días.

Great breakfast; rooms very comfortable. Great way to start our hiking trip - as Cotswold walk literally right outside the hotel front.

Ask where specific room is in advance - if you want quiet - one of the rooms we had was right against the outdoor restaurant and guest noise till 10:00 pm - our other room very quiet.

Words can't express how wonderful this accommodation is. Such a beautiful room with thoughtful little extras. Hosts were very easy to communicate with & the location is perfect for exploring Chipping Campden & the Cotswolds Wish we could have stayed longer

We loved the whole set up. Our rooms were so sweet and the staff that brought us breakfast were so warm and full of hospitality. It’s a unique place, having to walk through the patio part of the restaurant, but we loved it!

The bathroom vent in my room needed a VERY good cleaning.

Everything was well thought out, felt quaint yet luxurious, the breakfast table was so pretty with great options. Check-in was simple, the property was quiet at night, and we had a good mattress. The owner, Sarah, was very friendly and nice to chat with.

The Woolmarket house was a perfect start point for our journey on the Cotswold way. The start point is literally outside the front door. The breakfast was phenomenal and the room was quaint and so lovely. Would totally recommend staying.

Unfortunately downstairs room is situated right next to the neighbouring restaurant's covered outside seating area. This can be very noisy with chatter, and music from the speakers.

Woolmarket House is in an excellent location in Chipping Campden high street, with free parking nearby. The business consists of a B&B and a Mediterranean restaurant, which is a great combination. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The bed was a bit soft for me - if you like a firm mattress, check with the staff before booking.

It’s the second time we’ve stayed (the first being 5 years ago) and we hadn’t realised that the room booked this time was above the restaurant. There is also a bedroom above. It’s a very noisy room as a result, so not incredibly relaxing.

The whole stay was absolutely wonderful. The owner and staff are great, the bed and the whole room were excellent, breakfast was top notch, the location in Campden was perfect. Street parking was plentiful at least in March when we went. We can't wait to return.

The only thing we didn't love was having to leave.

We loved the whole experience, the room was fabulous, it had a small patio area outside which we did use even though it was quite chilly being March, the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and spacious and had nice touches included like cake, the coffee machine was good, the bathroom was lovely with a heated floor. the bath in the room was not to our taste but it looked lovely ands I'm sure would be fun if you like that sort of thing. We decided to have our breakfast in our room and it was delivered bang on time and was delicious. We ate dinner at Michaels Mediterranean restaurant which is connected to the rooms and that was wonderful as well. All in all the whole experience was wonderful. we will return in the future.

Woolmarket House was absolutely the perfect place to stay. Situated on the high street in the heart of Chipping Campden, it gave us chance to see everywhere and enjoy the scenery outside of our window. The room was stunning and exceptionally clean with everything we needed. The instructions on finding our room and the goodies left were a lovely touch and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. We ordered it for 9am to our room and it arrived hot with all the extras at exactly 9am. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for making our stay so perfect. We will definitely be back!

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious with the option of room service which was ideal for us. Location is superb, with free on street parking and a good variety of good quality restaurants and pubs.

Heating in the room was temperamental but the hotel are aware of this and in the process of trying to resolve it so I expect it to be a short term problem. Electric heaters were available in the room as a back up if required.

Very clean and comfy room, lovely underfloor heating and shower. Bit of cake on arrival and excellent breakfast.

Beautiful rooms, everything is very well maintained and the whole property is simply stunning. The staff were extremely kind and helpful — they warmly welcomed us and helped change everything we needed without any problem.

A fabulous property in the centre of Chipping Campden. A beautiful bedroom in a very pretty Cotswold village. Great options for food and drink nearby. Close to beautiful gardens and villages. Friendly staff and a truly delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic breakfast, great central location and a gorgeous room

Great options for the breakfast and served in the room, which felt so luxurious. Room was beautiful, we loved the private patio. Very central in Chipping Camden, parking was easy to get.

Great location in a typical Cotswold village. If you are not from the Cotswolds / UK and aren’t sure where to base yourself, Chipping Camden ticks all the boxes and you will be at most an hour away from other popular Cotswold villages and points of interest. The Woolmarket B&B itself is on the Main Street and accessed via a passageway next to Michael’s restaurant. The building is lovely and although has been restored/updated, really does a great job of keeping the rustic and traditional Cotswold vibe, as well as having tonnes of original features which keeps the history of the building. We were in the Chasleton room which had a massive (no longer in use) furnace/fireplace which I assume was an original feature. The breakfast in the morning which we could select to have brought to our room was genuinely 10/10. The food itself was perfect and the staff couldn’t have done a better job and were very friendly and professional.

This is not a dislike as didn’t bother us, but perhaps something to be aware of is that Michaels restaurant has an outdoor terrace area which is also where you access the B&B from and our room on the bottom floor was literally adjacent to this, however, the room windows are frosted and there is plenty of blinds/curtains and decorations in the terrace that means it is impossible for anyone eating at the restaurant to see into the room BUT it did get a bit noisy. Again, it didn’t bother us really but if you were looking to get an early night (I.e before 10pm) and it was busy in the terrace you may find it a bit disruptive. After 10pm when staff were cleaning up there was quite a lot of noise, mostly glass bottles etc being cleaned up/recycled, which I do feel perhaps something could be done about - it’s difficult as it’s no-one’s fault and I think overall having the restaurant so close is a positive (we ate there one night and definitely recommend!) but it is quite an unusual setup.

Locatiion , breakfast was amazing! Welcome drink and cake was thoughtful. The owner politely acknowledging the problems with cleaning and staff workload prior to Christmas. However we would need to return again to receive any compensation.

Room wasn’t cleaned well. Very dusty for asthmatics - headboards, lights, skirtings etc. affected our next day, cut our vacation short. There is no blind in the bathroom. You are fully on show to neighbouring properties when showering or washing.

Well maintained in a beautiful old property.

The bed was 2 singles joined together (we booked a double) and the join was not seamless so was really 2 Single beds. Also, as this is not a hotel, there were not enough milk ’thingies’ for more than a couple of cups of tea. We like a cup of tea or two and so between us we could only have 1 cup each.
