Easy to find. Secure parking. Warm welcome. All very clean. Large room with great view. Very comfortable bed. Good shower and products provided. Pleasant breakfast. Good value.

Ardsallagh Lodge ticked all the boxes for us ! A lovely peaceful haven to return to after finishing the Greenway from Youghal to Midleton & knowing our e-bikes were in a private secure place . The room & bathroom were so spacious and a very comfy bed after our day . Breakfast was so tasty with plenty of options . A return visit a must and I cringe at bad reviews as an A1 experience for us .

The breakfast was AMAZING beautifully presented and delicious. Our hosts could not do enough for us. The communal dining room was great as all guests chatted together. The table setting was beautiful and little extras like scones and muffins very much appreciated. Highly recommend great value for money. Thank you

Man braucht ein Auto, zu Fuß in die Stadt Youghal ist keine Empfehlung.

Stunning location and room and fab breakfast

Vor allem die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber, man fühlt sich wirklich sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben . Schönes, großes Zimmer, wunderbares Frühstück.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute gem – I can’t recommend it enough! This was my second stay here, and once again, it was absolutely wonderful. It’s such a beautiful B&B in a stunning location, but what really makes this place special is the incredible charm and, of course, the owners. Aniko and her husband are simply the nicest people — so warm, welcoming and genuinely lovely. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. And the breakfast… honestly, one of the most beautiful breakfasts I’ve ever had! ❤️ There’s just something really special about this place. It has so much character, charm and warmth, and you can tell how much love goes into everything. I absolutely love staying here and will definitely be back again. If you’re considering booking, just book it — you won’t regret it! 🥰

Plumbing was poor. Scaffolding in front of view out. Electrical outlets limited. No breakfast menu. Driveway was an assault course. Property felt tired and in need of some TLC. No option for a fan, despite warm night.

A very kind, welcoming, and informative family. We had a very large quadruple room with a huge TV and a lovely, efficient shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, featuring traditional Irish products. If I were to return to the area one day, I would definitely book again. Bravi.

La sala della colazione è molto elegante e con una bella vista sul giardino esterno. Colazione abbondante tutta a base di prodotti fatti in casa.

We received a warm welcome from John on arrival, lovely spacious room & bathroom, beautiful breakfasts daily & we really enjoyed Anikos wonderful home baking.

There was an issue with the water in the mornings at that time but obviously that's a council issue & not the hosts fault

The staff were friendly and gave really good local knowledge of the area. Very good breakfast.

The accommodation is a little way out of local restaurants so we had to travel for meals, but we had our car so wasn’t a problem. Restaurants are very busy so you would need to book in advance.

Nice location if you have a bicycle or a car to get there. Lovey staff. Great breakfast (including home made baked goods).

Les personnes qui nous ont accueillis sont extrêmement gentilles et aux petits soins avec un petit déjeuner généreux. La maison est assez originale, un vieux style, avec de la vaisselle et une décoration d un autre temps mais beaucoup de chaleur et de bienveillance.

La salle de bain et surtout les toilettes avec une cuvette en bois, qui est en mauvais état, et pas très hygiénique.

Slight noise from the nearby main road but a very small price to pay for such a great location.

The Host were perfect and very friendly , we had problem finding the property due to not getting email from host, The room and view was to die for , even with water turn off due to road works, did not place the host at all, I would recommend this hotel to all travellers

Die herzliche Begrüßung durch die Eigentümer. Wir konnten sofort unsere Zimmer beziehen die sehr gut waren. Wir wurden gefragt was wir zum Frühstück für besondere Wünsche haben oder ob Irish Breakfast okay ist. Die Hausherrin hat für die Kinder Muffins und Pancake, also besser gesagt die ungarische Variante, Palatschinken gemacht. Das war eine super Sache. Beide haben uns viele Ausflugspunkte und auch Restaurants empfohlen. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut das wir so herzlich aufgenommen zu worden.

Leider ist die Straße etwas laut zu hören.

This House is so comfortable .We were on the ground floor and the garden with the seats under the tree were just so relaxing .However the best was yet to come the following morning when we entered the amazing Dining Room for Breakfast complete with white linen , china delph and delicious home cooked breakfast with lovely hosts .A hidden gem

Just back from a weekend away in Youghal where we had a very enjoyable stay at the Ardsallagh Lodge guest house. Everything was perfect, the location just a stones throw from Youghal itself,the wonderful breakfast and the lovely couple who welcomed us into their home. We stayed in a kingsize room with a view over the water where we could see the lights of Youghal at nightime. Would highly recommend the property to anyone staying in the area for comfort, cleanliness and value.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Location mit einem großen wunderschönen Garten- die Zimmer sind geräumig- die Gastgeber sind unglaublich liebenswürdig, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend- der Gast mehr als König und richtig man kommt als Gast und geht als Freund- sehr empfehlenswert

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The homemade scones and muffins are a lovely personal touch and very tasty. Best poached eggs we've ever had too. We would definitely return.

Nous passé un excellent séjour dans cet endroit typique de l'Irlande. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et attentionnés et donnent plein d'informations pour les lieux à visiter aux alentours. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux et excellents. Le chambres sont très propres, spacieuses et confortables. Nous vous recommandons sans hésitation cet endroit pour votre futur séjour en Irlande. We had a wonderful stay at this quintessentially Irish spot. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive, providing plenty of information about places to visit in the area. The breakfasts are excellent and very hearty. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We would recommend this place without hesitation for your future trip to Ireland.

Anikó and John are very nice hosts. They gave us some tips about restaurants, some nice places to stop for a walk or relax. The irish breakfast delicious, also Anikó offered home made muffins and special scone for coffee. The room is quite big with comfortable beds. I am sure, I go back again.

Friendly helpful messaging prior to my stay. Great welcome. Lovely to enjoy a seaview from my bed. Handy location along the Eurovelo 1 cycle route and the off road location meant it felt safe to leave my bicycle outside.

For me, breakfast would have been more in keeping with the friendly homely vibe with real brown bread rather than factory white-sliced and real jam & marmalade rather than portion-control plastic packets.

Bed was extremely comfortable and room had a beautiful view over Blackwater estuary. John and Anniko were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a range of options. Dinning room had lovely character, charm and views. .

Bedroom decor was slightly dated but was outweighed by the bed.which was the most comfortable I have slept in.

Spacious and clean room with en suite. It was a little outside Youghal but a good location for us as we were driving to Ardmore the next day for the St Declan’s Way hike event. Excellent breakfast!

Our hosts, John and Anna, made us feel like we were in a home away from home. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were so large and spacious, and each room had its own very large bathroom. The breakfast was devine, and Anna's freshly baked muffins were a fantastic treat, set us perfectly for our journey home. The lodge was on a hill with a beautiful big garden, in a stunning location overlooking the sea. If I ever won the lotto, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Thank you both for your hospitality.❤️

That we only stayed 1 night. Could have easily spent a week exploring the beauty of Youghal.

The hosts were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. This accommodation is in a good location. The breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

The host might consider a replacement mattress on the double bed in the downstairs bedroom.

Location excellent but entrance to property a little tight. Large room with massive bathroom including spa bath and separate shower.

Breakfast arrangements a little odd, seemed almost over organised. Lack of any heating was an issue for us. Bathroom was too cold to take advantage of wonderful bath and towels still damp from night before. Owner countered by saying he thought previous evening had been "mild", locals obviously hardier than us visitors.

John and Aniko were fabulous hosts. John even offered us a lift into town. They were friendly and chatted and seemed genuinely interested in where we were from etc. The breakfast was fabulous and even had freshly baked muffins. Fabulous view from our room. Room spacious yet homely.
