Süße Unterkunft mit guter Lage! Die Gastgeberin ist super nett und hilfsbereit! Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr gut, um seine Zeit bei schlechtem Wetter rumzukriegen!

Es war leider sehr kalt im Zimmer und die Bettwäsche war etwas klamm. Das liegt wahrscheinlich einfach daran, dass es in Nuwara Eliya generell viel regnet und eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit ist!

This place was amazing. Comfortable beds and an exceptionally clean room. The hostess was the kindest and sweetest person we've ever met. We also had an amazing lavish breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Cottage during our recent trip to Sri Lanka. The host gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful atmosphere and excellent hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the kindness and care shown by the host throughout our stay.

The loveliest hosts! So kind and had lots of recommendations for us. They came to pick us up from the station for very reasonable price. Amazing laundry service, turned it around super quick, very fresh and for a great price. The family room was a good size and comfortable.

There is no WiFi at the hotel but there is good service for data and lots of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance if you need it so we didn’t find it as much an issue as anticipated.

The family running the guesthouse is incredibly friendly, welcoming us warmly with some tea. They gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and activities, and were very quick to respond to any questions we had. A short walk from Victoria park and town, we greatly enjoyed our stay here.

Note that it's worth upgrading to the family room- this room had lovely views, light and was very spacious.

Было невероятно приятно наконец поспать без кондиционера и под толстыми одеялами! Кому-то может показаться прохладно или даже холодно, но нам было как дома и наконец) Чай, вода, завтрак, парковка, тихая улица, отличные хозяева. Спасибо. Хочется вернуться.

Кому-то может быть сложновато подниматься по лестнице на второй этаж, где расположен семейный номер. В остальном все прекрасно.

We had an amazing stay here! The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We received great local tips on things to do as well as excellent restaurant recommendations, which really enhanced our experience. Since we had an early checkout, she kindly prepared breakfast for us to take away so we wouldn’t miss it – such a thoughtful touch. She also helped us arrange transport to the train station and made sure we could stop at a sightseeing spot along the way. The beds were extremely comfortable with soft and cozy duvets – we actually had some of the best sleep we’ve had in Sri Lanka here. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. We 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Paradise Cottage in Nuwara Eliya is a truly beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The location is perfect - very close to the botanical garden and surrounded by greenery and calm. What makes this place really special is the owner, Sindu. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel at home. She gave great recommendations about what to do in the area and helped organize everything I needed. She even kept my luggage while I was on my hike on the Pekoe Trail, which I really appreciated. It’s those small gestures that make a stay unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious and prepared with care. The room was very comfortable, with hot water in the shower and warm double duvets in case the evenings get chilly, which is perfect for the Nuwara Eliya climate. Sindu speaks great English and is simply a wonderful person. I truly felt like I was staying with family, and I would happily come back and stay here again. Highly recommended if you are visiting Nuwara Eliya.

Симпатичный коттедж в английском стиле. Очень приятная хозяйка, готовая подсказать по многим вопросам от расписания автобусов до стоимости посещения основных достопримечательностей. Было очень приятно, когда при заселении встретила нас с приготовленным чаем. Завтрак хороший: тосты с бананами, омлет или жареные яйца, нарезанные овощи из ее собственного огорода. Близко к автовокзалу и центру города. Рекомендую.

Wij hebben 2 nachten overnacht in deze prachtige homestay. Wat een ontzettend lieve gastvrouw. Ze helpt je bij al je vragen en heeft zelfs de was voor ons gedaan. De kamer was prima en is van alle gemakken voorzien. De homestay ligt centraal waardoor je zo van je kamer in het centrum bent. Zeker een aanrader voor iedereen!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft im ruhigen aber sehr gut fußläufig zum Zentrum. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett und das Frühstück ist auch sehr lecker. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Sindhuja is a warm and hospitable host, she is kind and does everything possible to make guests comfortable. She offered me tea when i came in tired, have me lots of good recommendations and made sure all was good . The room and bathroom was large and comfortable and clean.

Room was clean and cosy, we had a really comfortable night and stay. Common area with table and sofas was also really nice. Location short walk to main town and attractions. Wir haben uns im Paradise Cottage sehr wohlgefühlt, die Zimmer waren sauber, gut ausgestattet und komfortabel. Das Zentrum von Nuwara Eliya ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, und hat uns bei Anliegen immer direkt weiterhelfen können. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, klare Empfehlung!

Super liebe und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns Tipps gegeben, was wir in der Stadt unternehmen können. Die Unterkunft ist etwa 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön hergerichtet. Da wir sehr früh abgereist sind, hat sie uns ein sehr leckeres und umfangreiches Frühstück zubereitet. Können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

We had a very pleasant stay at this homestay. What really made the difference was the kindness of the hostess. She welcomed us with a cup of tea and made us feel at home right away. She was very caring and helpful throughout our stay, gave us useful tips for excursions, and even arranged a tuk-tuk driver for us. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was fresh and tasty. Overall, a simple place with warm hospitality. If you are looking for luxury, this might not be the place – but if you are looking for authentic hospitality, heartfelt warmth, and a truly memorable experience, this homestay is absolutely perfect. We would come back anytime!

Accoglienza incredibile, Sinduja è stata di una gentilezza rara. La casa si trova appena fuori dal centro (5 minuti a piedi) in una zona tranquilla e bellissima.

Habitación con desayuno normal para pasar una noche en Nuwara Eliya.

Bastante frio en la habitación, no funcionaba el agua caliente ni el wifi. Para una noche es pasable pero hubiera preferido pagar más y estar en otro sitio.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die wirklich gut Englisch spricht und uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Sie hat uns einen wirklich schönen Ausflug zu einem Wasserfall und Teefabriken organisiert und gute Essens-Empfehlungen gegeben.

Die Unterkunft ist schon etwas älter und der Geruch war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

The location and the room was nice. The wifi was not working but the lady was so generous that she gave me her extra phone to use data. I enjoyed the breakfast.

Świetna lokalizacja - spokojna od zgiełku, a jednocześnie blisko do centrum skrótem. Kilka minut do parku wiktorii. Pyszne śniadanie, niesamowicie mili właściciele. Pozwolono nam zakwaterować się nieco wcześniej i podniesiono nam standard pokoju bez podnoszenia ceny ! Bardzo miło wspominamy ten pobyt, serdecznie polecamy !

Malutki minusik za awarię Wi-Fi, nie wpływa na ogólne bardzo dobre odczucia.

Nice rooms well decorated and comfortable beds. Well located close to the city center. The staff is amazing. Very helpful and attentive. I did a tour in the waterfall and tea plantations that they did arrange and was easy and perfect.

Hemos pasado un dia maravilloso en esta casa familiar en Nuwara Eliya. Desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa: la bienvenida de los niños, llena de ilusión, fue un detalle precioso. La habitación tiene entrada independiente, es muy cómoda y permite tener privacidad estando dentro de la casa. El desayuno estaba riquísimo y los anfitriones fueron encantadores y muy atentos en todo momento. Una experiencia auténtica y muy recomendable.

Rundum tolle Unterkunft mit Liebe von einer Familie geführt. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und Lage. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass uns die Gastgeberin um 5 Uhr morgens ein frisches Lunch Paket für unsere Horton Plains Wanderung vorbereitet hat.

L'accoglienza della proprietaria è stata eccezionale. Con la sua voce dolce e pacata e il suo inglese perfetto ci ha dato le informazioni principali per goderci al meglio il nostro pomeriggio a Nuwara Elyia. Al mattino ci ha chiamato un tuk tuk per raggiungere la stazione dei treni. Ottima colazione con un tè squisito (che alla fine ci ha venduto a un ottimo prezzo visto che ci era piaciuto tanto e le avevamo chiesto dove potevamo comprarlo). Il letto era molto comodo e caldo (cosa utile perché la sera fa freddo). In stanza c'erano il bollitore con 4 bustine da tè e l'asciugacapelli.

L'acqua calda in doccia non era stabile e lo scarico del water non era molto potente.

Peaceful stay with beautiful views and a very friendly host. The location is great—very close to the bus stand and easy to move around. However, I did spot a rat in the room at night who decided to enjoy my biscuits before I could! 😅

The hosts were so friendly and kind - we were welcomed with piping hot tea on arrival. Large room with plenty space and comfortable beds. Hot shower was a delight! 10 mins walk to town. Would recommend to stay here!

The property is in a very convenient location, 15 min walk into the centre of Nuwara Eliya. The host family greet you with the biggest smile, and they are willing to make your stay a memorable one. We even got chatting to the family and got to know them, and they are all so friendly and welcoming. Great value for money, and the host even sent us on our way with delicious banana pancakes before catching the train

Such a wonderful place! Landlady is really trying hard to satisfy all guest’s needs. Place is very clean. Breakfast was delicious, I even tried a fruit I never tasted before. I’m fully recommending this place to anyone.

The owner lady was so kind and helpful. The cottage has an exceptionally value for the price you pay and is in the center of Nuwara Eliya. So you can reach all major places by foot. We had a wonderful experience, thank you so much!

Couldn't recommend this homestay enough! The family are incredible and go above and beyond. The room felt very homely and was very comfortable. The location is more secluded but still in walking distance to cafes, the city centre etc. It truly felt so peaceful & quiet which was welcomed after visiting Ella.
