Perfect location, clean & comfortable

Beautifully decorated.spotless.and the bed was really comfy.

I loves everything about Lawton Street Rooms. My wife and I are on a 55-day trip, and this was the first place we stayed at. If all the places we stay are this nice, it'll be our best vacation yet. They truly thought of everything! They had both caffeinated and non-caffeinated coffee and tea, cereal, lots of bottled water, The bed was exceptionally comfort. It was one of the best nights sleep my wife and I have had in a long thing. We will BE BACK!

Lovely room and a great location

Nice enough en suite room at a reasonable price, close to Congleton town centre. Quiet at night, couldn’t hear the traffic. Clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.

The fan and water in the shared fridge was a nice touch during the July heatwave but the rooms really need air conditioning. Our friends were also staying and both rooms were like a sauna with the windows open and fans on. Also think a mini fridge and waters in each room would be a nice touch (rather than shared).

I was on a hike and the town centre location was suited to my needs.

The post code took me to the wrong location. The towel rail in the bathroom was in need of a clean. There was not enough milk for the cereal provided for breakfast. The attached restaraunt is fine if you want a burger, something deep fried or a pizzs, but if you would like to see a couple of healthier options on the menu, this would not suit.

Perfect room for our night over in Congleton for a wedding. Everything needed, comfy bed, tea making facilities, lovely clean bathroom and nice fluffy towels. Nice little touch with cereals and pastry’s provided for breakfast the next morning.

Loved the rooms. Very modern. Refreshments left in room and food for breakfast if wanted. Very clean and tidy.

Lots of steps. We were warned but still a challenge for me (75 years old). Well worth it when you got up to the room. Slight concern as our shower tray had a crack in it.

The room was decorated beautifully with a clean presentation. It was a very hot night so the fan was very welcome. The bed was a nice size and comfortable. Some nice drink and breakfast options. The fresh fruit from the communal fridge was a nice touch.

The room wasn't the easiest to find late at night but managed it eventually. Some additional signage from the car park might be helpful. The sign on the truck the instructions mentioned was very faded so was hard to see at night.

Unfortunately the owner was not expecting me despite.booking on booking.com, receiving confirmation and messages from them.

How hot the room was .. it was unbearable we didn't sleep for 2 days . I get the weather was really hot . But the room was hotter than out side so . Also only jaf a very small fan in the room bit didn't help at all

Fire escape entry. The shower was not draining properly and had to keep switching it off to avoid overflowing. No fridge as stated so no fresh milk or other items. Complimentary toileteries far too small. The prepacked croissants were inedible, a bit like raw dough.

The room was clean, had a great shower and the highlight was the make up mirror with the light and a fan next to it! A girl's dream! Also, I'd love to know where they get their shower towels from, so soft and fluffy😍 the sheets were also so nice and soft !!

The entrance to the property is bizarre, with metal stairs. I followed the instructions provided in the welcome message, which meant I walked all the way around to enter via car park when in reality could have walked inside the pub and entered quicker since I didn't have a car and was dropped by Uber to the address.

The windows overlooked the street and facing houses and we really thought it required a blind in the bathroom also in the bedroom

Great location, fantastic room and amenities! Staff were lovely when I called and so helpful. Shower and bathroom all very clean and modern and shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. Mirror was lovely, bed was really comfy, and the breakfast items in the room were a really sweet touch. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back if I’m up that way again.

The room itself was clean and comfortable.

However access was fairly difficult - it was self check in only, and we didn't receive the check in information until 6:30pm on the night of our stay, and nobody answered when we called the given phone number when we arrived around 5:00pm. Thankfully the restaurant staff in tbe bar below finally figured out our room numbers and got us in, but we were very worried we would have to find new accommodation in Stoke instead.

Perfect location, spotlessly clean. 2nd stay here and won't be the last.

Lovely clean room. Cereals and tea/coffee available. Milk and water in fridge on landing. If small fridge was in the room would have improved score, but we were aware of this, and to be honest wasn’t a big problem. Ideally located for numerous restaurants and bars. We had booked for Beartown brewery tour which was only 5 minutes away so perfect for our requirements.

The stairs to the property could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

The property was okay. No major issue per say.

I didn’t like the fact that, it was so much dust on the head board of the bed which irritated my sinuses the entire stay. It was dirty in the draw of the desk. The cleaning could definitely be better.

Room was a lovely size, very large bed, plenty of space. Lots of hanging storage, lovely and clean room. Right on a Main Street but very little noise. Some nice touches, fridge in lobby with water and milk. Cereal, teas, coffees etc. in the room. Good shower, free WiFi. Parking close by and very cheap.

The way in around the back was a little convoluted and it was very wet the weekend we stayed, so mud and puddles to manoeuvre.

Lack of full length mirror

We needed a place to stay overnight for a wedding and this was perfect. The hosts were great and kindly allowed us to check in early which meant we could get ready in our room a huge help considering how far we had to travel that morning. The room itself was beautiful and the bed was so soft and comfortable. The shower in our room was also really good. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area.

Like others have mentioned the rooms can get a bit warm but a fan was provided which made a big difference.

Very clean and comfortable

The room was very clean and I got a great nights sleep. Very modern with a great TV and everything you need for a night or two away. The addition of the breakfast cereals in the room is a nice touch. I ate a takeaway from the BBQ restaurant downstairs. It was fantastic.

Secure parking would have been nice instead of having to use the pay and display car park at the rear of the building. The beer on tap in the restaurant tasted very much like the lines hadn’t been flushed after a clean.

I would have given a much higher rating if the heating had worked we froze for the first 2 nights until a fan heater was supplied An information card about the town and surrounding area for people who do not have friends or relatives in the town A WIFI connection

This is the 4th time we have stayed here and always have a good time here. It’s a great hotel in the ideal place and it’s reasonably priced as well. Only snag was the roadworks outside at 8am on a Sunday (but that isn’t anything that the hotel can control so won’t deduct anything for that).

Very minor thing but the cups for the hot drinks were too small. There was one mug and a small teacup which quite frankly was like a thimble. The last time we stayed there was proper mugs.

Location was good for us. No problems with noise except for constant sound of alarm from next door.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large well equipped en-suite. Check in was easy with an informative email beforehand. Staff in the restaurant were helpful and friendly. Location was good and parking - free from 3pm till 8am - was adjacent.
