Abbiamo voluto provare una notte in stile giapponese. La struttura si trova in una zona centrale della città ma in un’area tranquilla lontano dal caos. Mettono a disposizione un onsen per tutti gli ospiti separato per genere. Particolare la colazione in stile giapponese.

Fantastic customer service that accommodated our requests. The whole place was clean and beautiful with plentiful space and amenities. Breakfast service and food was excellent. Location is very convenient as it is only a couple of minutes away from Nishikikoji-dori and Nishiki Market.

It was an amazing stay in the heart of Kyoto. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It felt like staying at a family member’s house rather than an actual hotel. Definitely recommended, 10/10!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Hotel und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die unglaublich herzlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter – selten haben wir uns in einem Hotel so liebevoll umsorgt gefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt: sehr zentral und gleichzeitig aber angenehm ruhig. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Sie sind vielleicht nicht modern im klassischen Sinne, aber genau das macht ihren besonderen Charme aus – überall spürt man die Sorgfalt und die kleinen Details. Auch das traditionelle japanische Frühstück war für uns eine ganz neue und besondere Erfahrung und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch einmal bereichert. Der kleine Onsen war ein echtes Highlight – besonders nach einem langen Tag war es wunderbar, dort noch einmal zur Ruhe zu kommen und diese typisch japanische Erfahrung zu genießen Was uns aber am meisten in Erinnerung bleiben wird, sind die Menschen. Alle waren ausnahmslos herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit – wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten! ❤️

I proprietari sono gentilissimi, ci hanno accolto con disponibilità e delicatezza. La struttura ha un piccolo onsen, separato tradizionalmente maschi e femmine, a libero accesso degli ospiti. Colazione tradizionale, molto curata, all’orario stabilito al check in. È bene sapere che non vi è possibile di uscire dalla struttura dopo le 23.00 e prima delle 6.30: la signora che ci ha accolti ci ha spiegato essere una misura di cautela, trattandosi di casa privata. La stanza è molto curata, come da tradizione, e spaziosa. Posizione ottima.

Kagihei is a lovely quiet family-run ryokan tucked off the street from Nishiki market. It is within fantastic walking distance to the market and surrounding restaurants, and reasonable walking distance to public transportation. We enjoyed using the public bath in the evenings, which was often empty.

Wonderful, gracious hosts. This was the biggest room we had during our entire stay in Kyoto. Very close to the market as well but in a quiet enough street that you don't feel overwhelmed. They provided a wonderful room, robes, slippers, tea, and cookies. Bathroom had a separate toilet, as well as a bathtub. Loved this experience.

Es un hotel familiar típico japonés, con tatami y camas típicas, y un baño público. Están muy atentos a todo.

J'ai bien aimé l'accueil et les propriétaires qui m'avaient l'air très sympathique. Ils m'ont donné les explications qu'il fallait pour la suite. Ça reste un bon Ryokan même si j'ai pu en faire d'autres que j'ai trouvé meilleurs. La chambre est grande, un peu vieillotte mais plutôt bien équipé avec une bonne salle de bain! C'est très bien situé, à proximité de tout ce dont vous avez besoin et c'était plutôt calme. Bon voyage à Kyoto!👍

C'est mon avis, mais je dirais que ça reste quand même un peu cher (100€) pour la nuit! Enfin bon l'expérience Ryokan est toujours agréable à vivre! J'ajouterai à ça le couvre-feu à 23h! Personnellement, 'ai beaucoup de mal avec les couvre-feu.. mais si cela ne vous dérange pas, grand bien vous fasse! Profitez bien et bonnes vacances! 🤙

We had a great experience staying here. Super nice people. Awesome location. We added the breakfast one day and really enjoyed it (we also liked that it didn't have to be done every day we stayed).

The atmosphere was authentic and peaceful. The location was ideal. The onsen was very nice and the water pressure was the best ever! I wish I could take the bathroom home with me.

Nos ha gustado todo, desde el trato con el personal que fueron súper amables, incluso tuvieron un detalle por mi cumpleaños, hasta el futón que era comodísimo. Todo muy limpio, tenía un onsen pequeñito que se podía disfrutar hasta tarde, la ubicación es inmejorable. Para repetir 100%

The location is great. The rooms are large and clean. The public restrooms are a bit of a relief for a relaxing time.

The rooms are large and comfortable, the location is excellent. My room was spotless, the bathroom was nice and the staff brought a pot of hot green tea everyday. I did wish they provided a coffee option. I would stay here again if given the opportunity just for the location alone.

Ottima posizione. Stanza abbastanza spaziosa e con i servizi basici adeguati per essere una Ryokan.

Anche se è una struttura tradizionale, aggiungerei qualche presa in più, perché si sa, chi viaggia ha bisogno di ricaricare molta attrezzatura (cell, powerbank, fotocamere, ecc). Non mi è piaciuto l’obbligo di rientro entro le 23 e avrei preferito saperlo in fase di prenotazione.

I adored our stay. Everything was perfect - the reception and all interactions with the owners were so helpful, sweet and kind. It's a small hotel, so you feel like a visitor at a home, not like an impersonal hotel guest. We were taken care of so well - and even despite the front desk being closed at night, the hosts woke up at night to let us out for a sunrise tour. Breakfasts were exceptional, rooms were spacious, location is excellent. And when one of us forgot a mobile battery in the room, the owners were quick to notice and send this to us. Really appreciate our stay, would return in a heartbeat the next time we're in Kyoto!

Le signore sono molto gentili, mi ha snche preparato la colazione vegetariana (anche se poi non ho mangiato nulla perche è davvero molto particolare)

The hotel is very traditional and in keeping with the traditional design and layout of a Ryokan- by modern standards, perhaps lacks a little bit of comfort! But then again, it’s not modern or trying to be!

It was central to everything. Great restaurants, shopping, transportation. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The hot tea and little cookies and cold green tea in the refrigerator were appreciated. The hotel was quiet.

The pillows were not too comfortable as there were too flat.

위치가 니시키시장 바로 근처라 너무 편하고 좋았습니다. 주변에 편의점도 가깝고, 먹을 곳도 많았습니다. 어디든 움직이기 편한 위치에요. 영어를 잘하시고 엄청 친절하십니다. 지인들에게 추천할 예정이에요!!

아쉬웠던점은 없습니다. 제가 원하는것이 다 만족되었습니다.

Très bien situé, au centre des points touristiques majeurs, à 2 pas du Nikishei market avec une multitude de restaurants. Hôtel tenu de manière familial, vous êtes accueilli avec l’hospitalité traditionnelle japonaise. Petit déjeuné excellent, délicieux ! Mais à partir de 8h. Kyoto passe d’une ville animée touristique à un calme absolu à partir de 22h. Donc aucun soucis de bruit. Hôtel ET quartier très propre.

Staff extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Provided suggestions on local restaurants and transportation. Traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing, delicious, and contributed to my whole Japan visit. Grateful to have experienced traditional sleeping and eating arrangements.

My room's patio door/window was 3 floors directly above the outdoor smoking area, so smoke from guests smoking outside drifted into my room leading me to close the patio door on beautiful weather days.

Tienes que estar preparado para comer un desayuno típico (aunque nosotros lo preferimos).

This place is very convenient, close to Nishiki market and other shopping places. It is close to the station, so u can easily access Gion and other shrines. It's a very clean and beautiful place. The owner is very kind.

The only downside is u have to come back at 11pm, but to be fair, if ur not a party person, this stay is fine. Most places in Kyoto open early in the morning and close early.

The only thing is that you have to be back by 11 pm every night.

Dieses Ryokan ist sehr traditionell, aber erfüllt trotzdem moderne Standards. Exzellente Zimmer, sauber und bequem. Das traditionelle japanische Frühstück ist absolut empfehlenswert und ein Muss für jeden Japan-Fan. Das Personal ist (eben typisch japanisch) äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Ryokan befindet sich in der Nähe zur Teramachi-Straße, ist also sehr zentral gelegen. Die U-Bahn (Shijo-Station) ist zu Fuß erreichbar (ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg). Unbedingt ausprobieren: Das öffentliche Bad!

El ryokan es muy bonito y el personal amable. La habitación era muy bonita, el salón privado para desayunar también, la nevera era bastante grande, el desayuno era muy abundante. La situación al lado del mercado de Nishiki y calles de las galerías comerciales.

Había una alfombra bastante sucia dentro de la habitación, en la zona de estar. El café muy mejorable (aunque era gratis, a caballo regalado...). No había ninguna opción de desayuno occidental o menos difícil de digerir que el tradicional japonés. Un poco lejos del metro (15 minutos caminando).

This Ryokan was absolutely fantastic. I used to live in Japan so I’ve stayed at many of them. The location was one block from everything you want to get to. The people who ran it were fantastic. The Japanese style breakfast was epic and a very, very reasonable price for what we received. The bedding was like sleeping on a cloud. We are ordering the bedding when we get home. We did not try the Japanese bath because I’ve done so many times and my teenagers did not want to. I would highly recommend this place and the staff were amazing. The owners both spoke English fluently as well. Although that is never a criteria for me when traveling.

Cet hôtel est juste une petite merveille, les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse, une amabilité font tout pour vous aider et parlent couramment l'anglais. Je n'ai jamais aussi bien dormi que lors de mon séjour ici. Les futons sont d'une qualité et d'une douceur, j'avais l'impression d'être dans un nuage. La chambre était très spacieuse et très propre petit plus pour le onsen qui était très agréable, j'ai pu le faire plusieurs fois sans personne, je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !!!

I was able to get my best sleep here since arrival to Japan. The place is very near Nishiki Market, a gem of a ryokan. The owners and staff are super friendly and nice. The daily breakfast was nutritious and delicious. The public bath was awesome after a long day's exploring the city. Would definitely return.

Everyone at the ryoken was so lovely and accommodating. The room was super comfortable and the breakfast amazing. The location is steps away from Nishiki Market so you can duck in and get some tenghulu or matcha ice cream on your way out or back. But really the owners and staff were the stand outs. I cant rate them highly enough.

Awesome location if you are keen on being near the market in Kyoto. After a day or two, the novelty of that wore off. The staff could not have been more welcoming and charming!

Our hosts were super lovely and helpful. Fabulous location in walking distance of markets, restaurants, cafes and good shopping. Very quiet location. Onsen was a bonus which was really enjoyed. Nice modern bathroom.

It wasn’t quite as clean as other places we had stayed. If you have trouble getting up and down from the floor (sleeping and sitting at table to eat and drink) then I would probably recommend either a short stay or other type of accommodation.

Éste ryokan te permite tener una experiencia inmersiva en la cultura japonesa. Es un alojamiento de estilo tradicional. Como quedarse en la casa de un familiar pero mejor. Las personas son super amables y la ubicación es también buena.
