Besonders wenn man zwischendurch etwas entspannen möchte, ist man mit dem Service, Swimmingpool, sehr freundlichem Personal und gutem Essen dort richtig.

Staff was amazing and pool and location

Excellent location, peaceful and calming. Really enjoyed the pool and kindness of staff. It didn't feel noisy and busy which was a real attraction for our family after busy safari and sightseeing schedules.

Suggestion; please improve breakfast especially more fruit, cereals, dried fruit and yogurts.

Great accommodations, friendly and kind staffs, 10 minutes away from the Sigiriya rock, great food!

It would have been great if more menu items had been available.

The room, the view, the staff, the setting, the location, the roof top cafe. It was a lovely setting and a lovely stay. We would definitely return. Cafe an added bonus for us with some lovely options for breakfast and lunch at an added cost.

Breakfast was a little limited but alternative options in the cafe for an additional cost.

Everything, the staff were amazing, especially with our 9 month old baby girl. Breakfast was great. Property ideally located. Rooms were comfortable! Loved our stay there!

A very nice and peaceful location, close to Sigiriya. The surroundings were calm and quiet, and the property was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. It was a relaxing place to stay.

Staff response time could be improved, especially during busy periods. A number of menu items were unavailable, and the food quality was inconsistent across dishes.

Best and friendly customer service. Food was very tasty. They arranged amazing party for us as well since we requested. One of best stay.

Séjour dans un cadre superbe. Par contre le dîner accompagné d'insectes et autres moustiques et bestioles, a été un des pires moments. Mésaventure concernant le règlement. Nous avons réglé la totalité à notre départ et on s'est fait débité le règlement une nouvelle fois sur la carte qui a servi de réservation. C'est vraiment très limite et surtout incompréhensible. Nous avons appelé l'hôtel hier qui nous a confirmé un remboursement que nous surveillons, et bien entendu, nous n'hésiterons pas à vous rappeler cet incident

Siamo stati accolti con un drink di benvenuto e delle salviette profumate, oltre che dai sorrisi dello staff. La struttura è molto carina, ci siamo goduti anche la piscina. La camera bella e con una vera doccia!

La struttura non è proprio semplice da raggiungere e l'hotel non ci ha molto aiutati nè a raggiungerli (non ci hanno mai risposto ai messaggi che gli avevamo scritto prima della partenza), nè a muoverci da lì. Non ci sono Uber lì e pochissimi Pick Me, quindi mi aspetterei che un hotel di questo livello metta a disposizione un servizio di tuk tuk di fiducia per agevolare i clienti

Very welcoming and pleasant environment

It was super clean, lovely showers, very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and bonus of a fabulous view. The staff were very friendly we accidentally had booked wrong date for Roys Villa next door and then put us straight in, lovely pool too with beds and special swimming towels

The roadway to the Hotel. There are two ways to reach the Hotel, one is from the main road (we missed that road unfortunately due to not visible Sign Boards), and the other through a paddy field. It would be better if the recommended route can be changed to the one that is coming from the main road and not through the Paddy Field

1. The access road is a rough, bumpy, mud track. Shakes you up getting to the place. 2. The Hotel is about a half hour away from the Minneriya Safari Entrance Gate. 3. The Hotel does not have a Spa. 4. I had problems paying USD with credit cards. The hotel machine rejected both my cards. Payment in LKR was accepted. However, my Colombo Hotel's card machine accepted $ payments via both cards so there is a problem with the Sigiriyaya hotel's card reader. This could cause avoidable embarrassment to a guest.

Very spacious room. Clean. Nice pool. There were some power interruptions, but otherwise nothing bad to say, would stay there again.

Quiet and relaxing.

There was no way to lock the door to the balcony. Noisy air conditioning.

It’s a relatively new hotel so the decor and facilities were 4/5 star. The pool was the best part. View from the balcony across the rice fields is serene. Gihan on the front desk was the stand out staff member for me, very attentive and requests got actioned.

Service could have been far better, especially since Jetwing bought this hotel months ago. Our room was not cleaned the first day but they cleaned our mum’s room. The next day I asked for ours to be cleaned, they cleaned the room but did not replace the used bath towels or refill the filter water or empty the bathroom bin. The next day the bathroom bin still hadn’t been emptied. The manager (Manoj) was very professional and attentive, he got stuck in with his staff cleaning tables etc.

Should have been great if they prepare the food as locals taste.

As we Sri Lankans we like spicy foods. I hope the staff of the hotels also knows. Would have been great if food prepared as per the locals taste.

We had a nice stay at Hotel Sigiriyaaya, the staff couldn't be more helpful and the food was yummy. We enjoyed the pool and the views over the rice fields. Size of the room was good, and they provided everything we needed.

Although this hotel is fairly new, there seem to be a lack of attention to detail specially in maintenance!

Horrible experience—incorrect location and phone number provided, which led to confusion. Only Visa cards were accepted, and the room wasn’t ready upon arrival.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Sigiriyaaya, and I highly recommend it. The location offers stunning views of Sigiriya Rock, and the hotel is beautifully designed with spacious, clean rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. A special thanks to Roy’s Villa for recommending this hotel. By staying at Sigiriyaaya, we were able to join all activities organized by Roy’s Villa, including guided tours and safaris. Their seamless coordination made everything stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, the perfect blend of comfort, location, and service. 10/10

They need to improve there dining service, dinner food took longer to make, so does the breakfast even we requested at 7.30am, but food came at 8.20am, so if they can improve that time and taste of food, definitely 10/10.

Superb place to relax your mind. Staff were great and very helpful. Got a superb offer from booking.com. Room is very spacious. Neat and tidy. Will come again and recommended for my friends

I think the food was not worth the money. So we only ordered dinner on the first day. Also, we ordered two mango juice and one watermelon. It was not up to standard.

The hotel was beautiful,clean and customer friendly. The service was commendable. Good value for money. Will definitely visit again.

Clean, comfortable and good value for money. The room was spacious with a nice balcony. The swimming pool was well maintained.

Restaurant wait times are too long. One night we waited over an hour for our dinner to arrive. There is also a lack of communication and you have to chase the staff a couple of times to get an answer which made it difficult to arrange taxis and any activities. Due to heavy rainfall one night, water had leaked through the ceiling creating a pool of water in our room. Although this was inconvenient, the staff sorted the issue pretty quickly.

New and clean property. Rooms have splendid with view on the rice fields (and a very nice pool!). Staff is super friendly and welcoming!

Just be aware that the property is a little outside of town … but cafe’s and the rocks are only a tuk tuk ride away! :)

Location

The hotel just opened and is completely new, clean and modern. The staff is so kind and the service top class. We loved our stay there. The pool is beautiful and from the room you have a view on the ricefields. Probably the Best accomodation we had in our Sri Lanka trip. If you want to participate in Roys Villas activities the location is amazing!
