Frühstück nur mit Papp- und Plastikgeschirr und recht einfach, gemütlich ist anders. Im Zimmer nur ein Blindfenster ohne Aussicht.

Una delle camere della mia prenotazione aveva problemi con l’AC che non deumidificava abbastanza, inoltre alcune rifiniture della stanza erano un po’ consumate e/o danneggiate.

Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. The room was extremely damp. Neither the dehumidifier nor the air conditioner in “Dry” mode was able to control the humidity, making the room uncomfortable throughout our stay. Part of the ceiling covering was peeling away, exposing visible moisture damage underneath. The coin laundry was out of service, and the hotel directed us to a public laundromat more than ten blocks away instead of offering an alternative. The most disappointing incident occurred on the morning of August 6. We had informed the hotel in advance that we would be using the late check-out option until 12:00 p.m. and paying the additional fee of ¥2,000. This had been confirmed and noted by the hotel in writing. Nevertheless, at around 11:15 a.m., a front desk employee rang our doorbell—without first calling the room—to insist that check-out was at 11:00 a.m. We had to explain the situation ourselves. The staff member was discourteous, and neither he nor anyone else apologized for the mistake, either at that moment or when we checked out. Overall, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel to travelers looking for the level of hospitality and customer service that Japan is usually known for.

This was by far the worst and most disgusting hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. There was mold on the walls, a hole in the wall that looked like it had been caused by a punch, and the bed sheets were dirty. After we complained, we were immediately given another room, which we appreciated, but unfortunately it wasn’t much better. The entire hotel had a strange, dark, and sketchy atmosphere. We genuinely don’t understand how it has received so many positive reviews. We might have understood these conditions if the room had cost around €40 and the hotel had a 4.0 rating, but at this price and rating, it was completely unacceptable.

目黒駅から非常に近いし、こじんまりしたホテルで過ごしやすい。無料の飲み物があり、部屋が広いです。

エアコンの音がうるさ過ぎて眠れなかったのと、 トイレットペーパーが薄すぎるのが残念。あと窓が開かないのと曇りガラスなので外の天気すらわからないのがとても残念。

Hotel situation is great, not so far from station. Free coffee and drinks, yeah! Room size was okay.

Nothing comes to my mind.

Location was perfect! Provided a local experience while also being close to the train! There were also awesome extra little amenities provided in the lobby which felt very welcoming! Breakfast was very affordable if we wanted to add it on certain days.

The bed was really firm.

Location can't be beat. It's quite close to the train station. As the hotel was formerly a love hotel, the rooms are well sound proofed. Despite their small size, there was an extra set of doors. I never heard any sound from the hallway, though did hear a slight amount of noise in the adjoining room when someone entered it. The shower was also rather nice, also owing to the love hotel origin. I got a deal on the price (about ¥12,000), though typically it seems to be higher.

The hotel refused to let me check in unless I presented my Residence Card, claiming this was required by Japanese law. However, foreign residents of Japan are not required to show a Residence Card when checking into a hotel. When I explained this, the staff insisted on seeing ID because they could not otherwise determine whether I was a tourist. What bothered me was that this decision appeared to be based on my name and appearance, and that should not be used to determine who is and isn't a citizen of Japan. In my experience, other hotels in Japan simply accept a guest's statement that they reside in Japan. I contacted the hotel through Booking.com afterward, but five days later I have still received no acknowledgment or response. Beyond that, the room's wallpaper was tearing, and there was a suspicious stain on the wall. The room also had a bit of bad smell, though once I turned on the AC it mostly went away. The AC's fan was rather noisy though, as if it was breaking.

Quiet rooms. Smoking rooms. Great friendly staff. Excellent location. Great bathroom.

It’s all a bit dark

Convenient for access to metro station, close to bars and restaurants. The complimentary hot and cold drinks in the hotel lobby were a nice touch. The shower was great.

The room was very small, with no iron or trouser press

Absolutely loved my stay here, it was exactly what I was looking for from the room itself to the location. The staff were kind and always ready to help, the room was clean and well stocked, the hotel was located near the station and several entries which made it all very convenient. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Property was a bit outdated but had some amenities that we appreciated, bar with a face cleanser or hair products was appreciated, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

This must be the hardest beds I have slept in my life, unfortunately. Please do something about it.

Hotel smelt like fish, our room had paint peeling off the walls and ceiling, cupboard doors were broken, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Even though we were told that our room was ready there was an early check in charge. We didn’t pay it - we just left our luggage in reception. I know it’s the policy, it just seems a bit petty

Breakfast was pretty good. The location was great - Really close to the train station and Meguro River, but not too busy an area. Rooms were adequate for Tokyo and everything was clean and orderly. Pyjamas were also nice!

Nothing particularly bad to note really. Bathroom in the reception area was shared with the Blues Club next door, which was a little strange, but otherwise everything was nice.

Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a Lawson, 7-11 and Starbucks within a block of the hotel. Great amenities in the lobby and helpful staff.

Les fenêtres ne s'ouvrent pas et ont un film dessus, impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres ou de voir dehors.

Location - 5-7 mins walk from Meguro station, which is on the Yamanote line. It was the cheapest option by a distance within our budget range. Overall quite clean.

The double room was too small for two people, which is a common concern in Japan. The staff wasn’t the most helpful, which I’m pointing out because I otherwise found staff quite helpful in all other hotels on my trip.

The location of this hotel was perfect - right in the heart of Meguro. The breakfast was exceptional, there were so many options. Additionally, they also provide heaps of amenities (face wash, body lotion, earphones, washcloths, razors, etc) by the front desk for guests. One thing that we really enjoyed was that the hotel held out luggage even after checkout! We had a very late flight, so the hotel holding our luggage for that day so we could get a little more exploring in without dragging our luggage around all day was a huge weight off our shoulders. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful!

Great hotel, Lovely suburb that had a lot to do and see but didn’t feel crowded and had more of a local vibe. Perfect location, No tourists anywhere and very close to a subway/metro. The hotel was neat, clean and quiet. The breakfast was good too.

The beds were a little hard but otherwise no issues with the hotel.

Great location very close to the train station. Best room I had in Japan as far as the quality of the room went and the bath tub I got as well.

The biggest problem I had was that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It's basically just a box spring with a small mattress pad on top. While the rest of the room was amazing the bed really detracted from the hotel experience as a whole.

Next to the train station. Good size room and bathroom for Japan standards. This was my initial stay in Japan and all of the other hotel rooms couldn’t even compare. If I ever go back to Japan, this will be the hotel chosen!

周りに店が多くて立地が良い

6日間宿泊したが部屋の掃除は1回だけ 中に人がいると掃除をしないなど色々と理由をつけて 掃除をしてくれない。

The location was excellent. Just 5 minute walk to Meguro River which was magical during the blossom period. There was a great selection of restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We did not proceed with check-in at Meguroholic Hotel due to the immediate concerns we encountered upon arrival. However, it is important to note that we were physically present at the property and our passports were checked by staff before we made the decision to leave. Despite this, the hotel is now claiming that we were not present at check-in, which is simply not true. From the moment we entered the property, we were hit with an overwhelming smell of cigarettes mixed with a musty, mold-like odor. This alone made the environment feel unclean and uncomfortable. The hotel also shares the building with a nightclub with live music (photo attached), which added to the uneasy atmosphere. Additionally, the bathroom stall located below the reception area was wooden, visibly unclean, and offered little to no privacy. It left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. Another major concern was that the hotel openly advertises short “day-use” rates at the front (outside of the building), similar to what is typically associated with love hotels (see attached photo). This, combined with the overall setting, reinforced our suspicion about the nature of the property and made us even more uncomfortable. What was particularly frustrating was how the situation was handled. When we decided not to check in and leave, the two male staff members at the front desk appeared completely disinterested. They simply handed back our luggage without asking any questions or attempting to address our concerns. We raised these issues and requested a refund through Booking.com immediately. However, instead of being taken seriously, we were repeatedly passed back and forth between the hotel and Booking.com without any resolution. The situation has been made worse by the hotel now denying that we were even present, despite having checked our passports.

11時台のすごく遅い時間のチェックインでしたが、親切に対応してくださいました。 朝食も美味しかったです。 内装もオシャレで気持ちよく過ごせました。

洗面台へ向かうスライド式の扉が、しっかり閉めないと勝手に開いてきちゃったり 入口の二重のドアの部屋側のドアがたてつけが悪いのか閉まらないのが気になりました。

Great location. Close proximity to subway station, loads of good restaurants nearby, close to river walk.

Room was a bit rundown. Scuffs on walls, stains. Not as clean as hoped. The shower has a pretty strong off smell coming out of drain.

It is walking distance to train station and a few minutes walk you reached a row of restaurants for your choices
