Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Spacious, clean, amenities, welcome pack, the location was fantastic for our visit to the Remarkables ski field and not have to deal with the traffic in and out of Queenstown. Dining out, meals and everything is so much cheaper than what you pay in QT. The apartment had amazing views and far exceeded our expectations!
Whilst collecting the keys was easy, and the instructions were mostly clear, I did have to ask the hotel staff for some directions and they were extremely unhelpful! They just kept saying that the room was not part of the hotel - which I understood but I was asking a general direction question. I don't think I've ever experienced such a woeful attitude from somebody in hospitality. La Quinta hotel staff should be ashamed!

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026A comfortable stay with beautiful mountain views. Everything you need for a self catering stay. A large shopping centre is only a few minutes away and it’s closed to the airport as well as a 6km drive to the centre of Queenstown.
The only issue I had is the pillows are all the same, quite high and uncomfortable. Would be better to have some softer ones so a choice could be made. The friend that I traveled with said the same thing.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025Wow! Loved everything about this place. The apartment was brilliant. Oh but the views......... From both bedroom windows along with the balcony, the views were truly amazing. A quiet area, with easy access to local buses and shopping. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

I thought the lounge area was a bit small for 4 guests as only 2 fit on the couch to sit while the other 2 sat at the dining table.

Kept tripping over the circular coffee table which took up the unneccesary room. Could have a small side table next to couch instead.

You were in a Hotel but on your own as far as it is an Airbnb. Lockbox. Lots of instructions now you have done it once all good the first time takes a bit of all working out.

There should be a note about the car park number in the advance info that's sent around. We found it in the book in the room eventually, but that's too late. You'd park before getting to the room.
