Location and it was comfortable

The hot tub could have a cover which will keep it clean.

Location perfect, great home, nice deck with a great hot Tub.

Everything was pretty much perfect.

Fabulous location and was perfect for 2 couples. Lovely and clean, very well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Only the bath taking long to fill but was still great!!!

The view was exceptional and the house was very comfortable with everything you could need. There was a lovely walk around the lake to the sailing club.

The bathroom has nowhere to put toiletries. (A small shelf under the mirror would help).

Great indoor/outdoor flow, tremendous view, excellent host.

Large open living, kitchen, dining room with great view of the lake. Bedrooms good size & comfortable. Private, short drive to town center.

Nice location on very busy road, however no road noise when windows were closed. Lovely sunset views of Lake Taupo and Mt Ruapehu snow covered in the distance. Handy to a Woolies just up the road, great for self caterers.

Extremely tight parking, especially when neighbouring unit also has guests. Balcony and bbq both desperately in need of a clean. Outdoor furniture covered in cobwebs. Washing machine filter was filthy. Just a couple of things need addressing to make it worth the price

Clean, great layout, great communication with the property manager. Everything was as described and expected!! Lovely place!!

The beds were nice and comfy and it seemed quite warm and generally very comfortable.

There was black mould in the bathroom and the kitchen doors were not in good condition which wasn't evidenced in the photos. while this did not stop or affect the visit it was certainly not so pleasant.

There was a problem with the lock box, maybe needs checking/repair/replace. We had to ring the host initially but then managed to open it. The host was very responsive. We like the location and view. It was a reasonable size unit. Quiet unit. Furnishings good. We would stay again.

There were a couple of things that we felt should have been better .... the fry pans certainly need replacing, the teflon is coming off and they are very worn and scratched. Almost unusable. This is a health & safety issue for quests. Some of the cooking utensils were in the same category. The towels were limited even tho there was a heated towel rail. There were no face cloths. It would be great to have the number "5" sign on the front of the building as we found it hard to locate which unit to go to, especially in a large vehicle. No use having the 5 by the back door where it cant initially be seen, especially if arriving in the dark.

Property was in a great location. We thought the facilities were great and also the chocolates in the fridge were a lovely thought. The property had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

We were a bit late in checking out and were greeted by someone (may have been the cleaner) that was quite abrupt and rude asking if we were staying another night as it was 9.50am. I apologised and said we would get moving, but thought she could have been a bit friendlier when asked when we were leaving. Apart from that everything else was amazing.

The location was excellent. The view of the lake was relaxing.

Loved our stay, so relaxing being able to sit and look out over the lake after a day of bike riding and sightseeing. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything you would want, we didn't bother to eat out. Thank you

Fantastic location with a great view of the lake and easy driving distance to main centre. While next to a busy road the unit had no road noise and slept like a baby.

Not major but number on house was challenging to see as couldn't find to begin with plus no plates in house. Everything else was fine. Cleaner could aim for a few cobwebs though. I would book again as 99% perfect is better than most.

The place was amazing. Such a nice space, felt very homely and the views were awesome. We enjoyed lounging out on the big chairs looking out at the lake

The beds were ok. The bed in the 2nd room (not main bedroom) was very soft, rolled together with 2 people in there

The view was beautiful, and the chocolates were a lovely touch along with the cooking extras. Bed 1 at the back was very comfy but Bed 2 closer to the kitchen mattress was soft, so you rolled to the middle of the bed.

Beautiful apartment overlooking the lake. Gorgeous views especially at sunset. Very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay here.

The location was fantastic and the living/dining/kitchen open plan area and outdoor deck made the most of the beautiful lake view. Also being able to contact Angela so easily was helpful.

Beautiful location, great views

Very concerned about the hot water as near boiling point coming out of the taps and shower. Someone could be badly scalded especially a child. This needs to be looked at or there could be a bad incident. Also very bad ant infestation. I know it’s a bit of a problem in Taupo, but a note on the bench to warn people would help help them be aware of the problem, we lost a beautiful birthday cake before it could be used as the ants got through the container!

Ants. Dirty lounge windows, little peoples handprints, windows smears, and bird poo just about ruined the view. The kitchen sink hot tap is dangerously scolding hot. Nowhere to put anything in the second room. For Eg, somewhere to put your bag on instead of the bed. Don't like complaining, but this is what we thought

I'm spoiled with full house air con so was a bit hot but hay 1st world problem.

Perfect location for my visit! The property is conveniently situated along Lake Terrace Road, offering the same breathtaking views of the lake as the luxurious lakeside hotels, but at a much more affordable price. It's an ideal spot for enjoying the scenery and making the most of your time in the area. Highly recommended

The view was beautiful. It was only a short drive into Taupo town centre where once parked, you could walk around quite easily. The unit has everything you need for a self-contained stay.

A great place for family to relax and spend time. Spacious and cosy with lots of areas to entertain the family. It had everything we could think of and we really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the full kitchen with appropriate equipment. Lovely big lounge with very comfortable furniture. Huge deck and front windows to make the most of the lake views. This accommodation was a highlight of our holiday in Taupo.

The lock box code given to us by booking.com didn't work, phoned the owner who was apologetic and helpful and gave us the correct code. After that... no problems. Parking was abit tight for two larger vehicles. Made it work so not too much of an issue...just saying🙂

Stunning views, comfortable bedding, full sized kitchen, carport for parking (great for frosty mornings), lots of extra blankets, and liked that there were extra towels there too. Favourite room was the lounge, super comfy chairs, enjoyed playing board games (supplied by host) right by the window with beautiful views.

Followed up a couple of times to receive our instructions to access the property, but a booking.com error. Although the electric blankets were great, would be nice to have little heaters in the rooms. It was minus 3 degrees on one of the mornings we woke up.

Property was perfect for what I needed. Spacious, clean, great location. Had electric blankets, heat pump - everything you’d want for nice and cosy stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
