Sunflower Boathouse

We had a wonderful stay at Sunflower Boathouse. The hotel is unique, built entirely of wood and designed like wooden ship. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The location is beautiful, with a bar, dining area, and games beneath the rooms. Despite this, it was quiet at night, allowing us to sleep peacefully. Highly recommended!

Such an incredible building! Beautiful view of the cove at sunset. Amazing staff. Sooo many beautiful cats to make your stay even more fun! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

There is not great sound insulation - so bring earplugs if you are a loud sleeper!

Velmi domácí přístup personálu. Zamilovali jsme si paní Kei a pana Fai. Ubytování má úžasnou/smutnou historii. Vše je postaveno z rozlomených loti po tsunami. Majitely při této hrůze umřela jeho žena a roční a dvouletá dcera. Jejich tělíčka se nikdy nenašli. Jsou tam vidět úžasné západy slunce přímo z terasy. Na baru vám míchají úžasné drinky. Pro mě to byl úžasný zážitek, jako bych se vrátil o 30 let zpět, když jsem byl na Phi Phi poprvé. Vřele doporučuji všem, co nehledají luxul a všude mramor. Zde je vše ze dřeva.

Mě se líbilo všední. Pokoje slušně zařízený. Ani jeden úhel stěn není stejný. A personál? To jsou miláčci. Akorát tam není bazén, ale ten mi nechyběl. Do moře je to při přílivu jeden krok.

Tout très bien. Nous avons voyagé avec 2 enfants (11 & 15) et la chambre était spacieuse. L'hébergement est situé un peu à l'écart du centre. Un peu de bruit mais couvert principalement par le bruit de la clim.

Les environs de l'hôtel sont malheureusement un peu à l'abandon (décharge), donnant une première impression un peu négative.

Emplacement insolite, lits grands est confortable pour le prix étais correcte, à 14 min de marche depuis l’embarcadère.

L’hôtel est atypique, c’est propre et bien placé, le personnel est très sympa. Accès billard gratuit.

Very nice room, clean and very well-maintained, with all of the hotel necessities available, including a functional AC. Many sea-view windows and balconies to choose from. Very cool and large bar on the seaside with a pool table and boardgames. Placed away from the city centre, the area is very calm and few passers-by. Nice staff that helped us to rent a canoe next door.

Super leuke accommodatie! Bij aankomst op het eiland stond er iemand op ons te wachten met een karretje waar onze tassen in konden zodat we die niet zelf hoefde te tillen. Aangekomen in onze kamer is de kamer lekker koud door de airco! Op phi phi zijn we verder vooral buiten geweest maar het was elke keer zo lekker “thuis” komen als we terug bij het huisje kwamen. En dan elke ochtend even aapjes kijken, want die zitten er genoeg :)! Echte aanrader! Bedden zijn goed!

We loved the friendliness of the staff in the boathouse, they were incredible, we ended up extending our stay we loved it so much.

Tuvimos un problema con el agua caliente y nos lo solucionaron el mismo día. El hotel esta ubicado en una zona increíble y tiene las mejores vistas del sunset de la isla. El personal y Mel son muy amables y muy atentos. El aire acondicionado funciona muy bien y se agradece mucho en Koh Phi Phi.

El lavabo era un poco pequeño para dejar las cosas pero hay un mueble cerca al salir del lavabo que hace su función. El agua caliente no siempre salia pero en Phi Phi hace calor. La habitación es muy oscura, con una luz blanca poco acogedora y las vistas a fuera no eran las mejores. Durante la noche tuvimos visitantes como bichos y lagartijas pero nos pareció divertido. Si eres una persona que te gustan las comodidades este no es tu sitio.

Smelly room. Sosososo Smelly. I couldn't breathe in the room. Very old, and dirty. I moved out of the room in 10 minutes.

Very cool and unique place to stay. Room was comfortable and cozy. Staff were friendly and the bar downstairs has great cocktails with an amazing view of the beach. Especially beautiful at sunset. Great value for the price.

The area surrounding the back of the property is dirty and there is an open water drainage system that runs behind the property so smell can be unpleasant but pretty normal for a small island like Phi Phi.

This place is just amazing cool! Built from pieces of boats, no angle is 90 degrees here, no floor is exactly horizontal, but still there was everything we needed. We loved it!

Es war super hellhörig. Wenn jemand draußen gesprochen hat oder im im Zimmer nebenan gehustet hat, dachte man der oder diejenige steht neben einem.

Pour des enfants et bébé ce n'est pas pratique il y a de très haut escaliers et c'est très dangereux nous pouvons pas laisser nos enfants en terrasse risque de tomber de très haut . Pas de ménage seulement à la demande

Très bonne situation géographique. Vue sur la mer pour prendre un verre. Petite terrasse commune pour le petit déjeuner du matin (frigo et bouilloire dans la chambre). Très bon accueil du personnel.

Rien . Il manque une tablette dans la salle de bain pour poser les effets personnels, et nettoyer les tasses à café par exemple. Il peut y avoir du bruit la nuit, logement style cabane dans les arbres, mais ce n'est pas tout le temps, et certainement moins que dans le centre de Phiphi. Globalement faut savoir que partout sur l'île il peut y avoir un peu de bruit de jeunes fêtards ! Mais rien de pénible.

Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z naszego wyboru. Obszerny pokój, wygodne łóżko, dobry prysznic, sprawna klimatyzacja. Do tego taras z widokiem na morze, poranna kawka smakowała znakomicie. Bez przepychu ale autentycznie.`

The vibe was awesome. Wooden structures were super cool. Lots of cool cats. And the views from the bar were great. Close to the beach with good restaurants.

Room was a little dirty. Some dead cockroaches left in the room. Our AC broke in the middle of the night so that was rough. Staff wasn’t exactly welcoming. They weren’t rude just not very welcoming.

Great location in a more quiet part of the town, overlooking the bay. Lovely relaxing garden area outside, where we ordered some delicious food and drinks. Room was quirky and had character, and plenty of space for a family of 4 in the large family room. We really enjoyed our stay here, thanks!

Es ist ein Guesthouse und relativ günstig und die Idee dahinter ist gut. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit.

Gerade das Bad war ein Erlebnis, was ich eher bei meinen ersten Besuchen in Thailand vor über 20 Jahre akzeptabel gefunden hätte, als heute. Gerade die offen-liegenden Leitungen des Durchlauferhitzers haben mich beim Duschen etwas in Sorge versetzt. Ich denke, man sollte vielleicht etwas mehr in den Erhalt der Substanz investieren…

This property is exactly as advertised. It is quirky and unique and the floors are uneven. But it is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is next to the party beach so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep. The restaurant is awesome with a beautiful view. And there staff arranged a private long tail boat ride for us.

The shampoo and conditioner and soap dispensers need to be replaced. Ours didn’t work and was falling off the wall. A shelf in the bathroom would be really helpful too.

Very nice and different kind experience we had in Sunflower. Though it takes 10-15mins walk from the pier but once you reach there you will be mesmerized with the location. The sea is so close and the evening with a glass of beer makes it exceptional. The restaurant staff were also very helpful. They are always there to fulfill our requirements. 7 Eleven stores are also nearby. Overall it was a great experience staying there.

Ubicación excelente. Ofrece buenas comodidades, es un sitio peculiar saliendo del típico hotel.

Het personeel is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het terras is heel gezellig, heerlijk om daar te zitten en te genieten van het uitzicht op zee.

Alles loopt nogal scheef, waardoor je bed ook scheef staat. Dat slaapt toch wat lastiger. Het water uit de kraan is wat smoezelig.

Bardzo fajny pobyt, hotel mega klimatyczny, mogliśmy nawet zameldować się nieco wcześniej. Jak za tę cenę, było w nim wszystko co potrzebne. Czysto, wygodne łóżko, duża ilość butelkowanej wody, co się przydało, bo woda w kranie nie pachniała niestety najlepiej. Ogólnie jednak pobyt był udany, zwłaszcza przy ograniczonym budżecie - ceny hoteli na Phi Phi nie należą do najniższych.

Najgorzej wypadała łazienka - niezbyt komfortowo się z niej korzystało, przydałoby się zmienić ustawienie lustra i lampy nad nim. Przez zimne światło padające od góry wyglądało się w tym lustrze jak trup xD No i w nocy było dość głośno, jednego dnia trafiliśmy na jakąś wielką sobotnią imprezę, przy której nawet zatyczki do uszu nie były w stanie stłumić hałasów, by dało się spać. Drugiej nocy było już lepiej. Nie jest to jednak wina hotelu, bar na dole zamykał się koło 22, hałasy dobiegały z okolicznych klubów. A, i jeszcze zapachy w okolicy były nieprzyjemne - tuż przy hotelu jest "strumyk", z którego cały dzień roznosi się zapach ścieków.

Älskade atmosfären och den mysiga baren. Man bor bra i båthuset med sina charmiga sneda golv.. Enda minus är att festandet på stranden några hundra meter bort hörs tydligt hela natten.

Calidad precio y ubicación muy buenas, no hay nada que objetar al respecto. Para ir a pasarlo bien y simplemente tenerlo como base está muy bien.

Algunos mosquitos en la habitación y un poco de olor a humedad. Podría mejorar un poco la ventilación a la hora de hacer el cambio de habitación. Entiendo que no abren para que la habitación esté fresca con los aires acondicionados.

σε όσους αρέσει η μυρωδιά των αποχετεύσεων, να ακούει τις ομιλιες και οχι μονο απο τα διπλανα δωματια ,να μην μπορει να κανει μπανιο μπροστα στην θάλασσα ειναι το τέλειο μερος να μείνει.....οι υπόλοιποι ας ψάξουν κάπου αλλού .

Salle de bain a peine utilisable. Évier bouché avec eau stagnante et on ne peut rien entreposer.

Mel est adorable et son personnel est très sympathique et réactif. La configuration de cette cabane de Robinson a le charme de ses defauts( perfectly imperfect comme dirait Mel) les chambres sont spacieuses, celles donnant sur la mer sont comme une proue de bateau avec une petite terrasse vraiment sympa. Une vue sur la baie face au coucher de soleil vraiment magnifique. Le rapport qualité prix est très honnête. Attention, les escaliers sont extrement raides et il me semble que cet etablissemnt ne convient pas à des personnes un peu plus agées, ou en besoin de calme….

Aucune isolation phonique de par la conception même du batiment en bois, mais sur Koh Phi phi, malheureusement, il ya beaucoup de bruit et les gens ne sont pas forcément sensibles des autres;)au sommeil La salle de bain pourrait être plus propre L’eau a vraiment une odeur et est salée. Mais koh phi phi semble avoir un vrai probleme de traitement des eaux usées…les eaux grises se deversent directement dans la baie et passent sous l’hoteln une odeur d’egouts par forte chaleur, totalement hors de la responsabilité de lhoteln, mais le desagrément est malheureusement là.

so much to love. the concept is wonderful, the buildings, waterfront restaurant/bar are really quirky and fun, the rooms were large and well thought out and the price was fair. Lying in the garden with a drink watching the sunset was really special. communication from management was excellent and being met near the pier by a staff member with a trolley to transport our luggage was really apreciated.

unfortunately when reviewers say it is noisy at night and that the sewerage smell is awful, they are 100% spot on. even with earplugs we were kept awake until 4am by the music and partying, but also by the stench. it really was nauseating. i dont know what happened at 4am, a change of tide or wind perhaps, but the smell completely disappeared. whilst the Boathouse can't help what goes on ouside its boundary, the rooms are not at all well sealed which lets the sound and stench in and the aircon out. i loved the concept but just couldn't recommend staying here as we passed such an awful night.

L’accueil du personnel, le côté typique de type cabane, la possibilité de boire un verre et de manger un morceau, le tarif du logement est correct.

Les alentours sont très sales, pas besoin de fumer du cannabis pour être positif.
