Goodnight Amsterdam Lovely B&B in city centre-private-quiet-luxurious

Location is very central and easy. room is a nice size and bathroom is very nice.

Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento ha sido prácticamente perfecta. Hemos viajado en familia con nuestros tres hijos, ocupando las dos habitaciones que tienen disponibles en el sótano. La ubicación es ideal. En un paseo estás en el centro, cuenta con transporte público muy cerca y es una zona muy tranquila. Las habitaciones son tal cual se ven en las fotografías. A pesar de estar en sótano, no da esa sensación al tener techos altos y tener entrada de luz natural. Son espaciosas, cómodas y estaba todo impecable. Además, André & Inez son unos anfitriones maravillosos, siempre disponibles para facilitarnos la estancia y en comunicación con ellos en todo momento.

Excellent and quiet location, equidistant to many tourist attractions and to public transportation. Andre, the host, was kind, very responsive and hospitable. He helped us with the luggage down and up the narrow stairway and gave us great food recommendations. It was wonderful to have access to a "local expert" when I needed one. :-) I liked that we only had to climb one flight of stairs to get to the room, given that many places in Amsterdam can require traversing many steep and narrow staircases. The room is spacious, modern and recently renovated, and I found the studio to be great value. Everything was great and suited our needs, especially since we didn't need breakfast. I was initially hesitant about a basement room, but there is plenty of lighting in the room. Anyway for me, the privacy and location of this place beat staying upstairs in a place that could be noisier.

Perfect location, quiet and away from main hustle but walking distance to everything we wanted to see - very close to transport links and the main food hall too. Hosts were great and provided plenty of tips and suggestions.

My wife suggested a mirror in the main bedroom but other than that we had no issues at all

Sehr gemütliches, modernes und großraumiges Appartement in einer sehr schönen Nachbarschaft mit vielen netten Cafe, Restaurants etc. Unsere Gastgeber Inez & André waren sehr hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We loved staying here. Inez and Andre were warm, welcoming and friendly with lots of local recommendations. The accommodation was everything we needed and centrally located. We loved it!

Завтрака, к сожалению, нет. Но есть возможность выпить чай и кофе. Просторная душевая комната с туалетом. Достаточно места в жилой комнате. Окна смотрят во двор, что позволяет их открывать, не слыша шума с улицы.

Enjoyed the location, layout, luxury amenities, and room darkening curtains. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

We didn’t know we had to go down a narrow/steep set of stairs to get to the lower level where our room was. However, we did not ask the location of the room before booking so this was our fault. We are able-bodied so going down and up was okay. There is a railing on both sides of the stairwell so this helped. Bringing luggage down and up was the only difficult parts, but we only did this once during our stay so it wasn’t a big deal. Might be difficult for elderly to get down to the lower level rooms.

The property is excellently located with quick access to the centre especially, via tram or even walking. The Host was absolutely fantastic, giving clear communication throughout our stay including recommendations of local activities and places to eat. The room itself was very well presented, clean and the bathroom in particular was very nice. The bed is comfortable and there is also a small kitchen-like area available. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anybody visiting Amsterdam, I shall try to rebook myself the next time I visit the city.

There was nothing not to like about this property.

We had to book last minute due to a flight cancellation and André was absolutely fantastic. The room was so warm and cosy and clean and we had the best night's sleep after a stressful time. The mini kitchen is very well equipped and all the small details are taken care of (e.g shampoo and conditioner and things you need when the airline doesn't give you your bag!). The location is excellent for walking into the centre and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. 100% recomendable

Hosts are incredibly kind and available for emergencies or even just questions about the area.

Central location with easy public transit nearby. Wonderful, well-equipped bathroom. Coffee and mini refrigerator in room. Quality, comfortable mattress and bedding. Quiet.

Would have been nice to have a hot plate to cook hot food in a skillet and/or a microwave. Apparently this is not permitted for this type of accommodation.

Wij hebben een superfijn verblijf gehad in dit mooie appartementje (een week). We hadden een slaapplek nodig voor een conferentie in Amsterdam en dit was perfect! Super centraal gelegen in een hele leuke wijk. Alles binnen handbereik. Het appartement zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien, lag zelfs lekkere koffie, thee en ook shampoo etc voor ons klaar. André & Inez zijn uiterst vriendelijk en waren altijd bereikbaar als we iets nodig hadden. Wij zouden hier zo opnieuw verblijven! Nogmaals bedankt voor alles!!

I loved being a guest of Inez and André they welcome you very lovely and explain everything. Its very central and the apartment has everything you need and more.

Truly fantastic place. Our host was very attentive and gave us some good recommendations for the area. The place itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and newly renovated with some really stunningly-luxurious finishes. The location is really good—you're very close to most of the places you might want to be as a tourist while getting to feel like you're in a very quiet, "real" Amsterdam neighborhood.

Although the ceilings are high and the windows create a surprising sense of space, the rooms are unavoidably still in the basement. You're not gonna get much light and no views. Staircase down to the place is very steep, as is typical in Amsterdam, so be careful coming home at night! :)

The room was very clean and it has just been renovated so everything is new. Inez and Andre are very helpful and they made us feel welcome. The location is excellent you can walk or take the tram and in a few minutes you are at the heart of Amsterdam, but also this neighborhood is amazing with great cafés and restaurants (that you mostly find locals!)

There is not an elevator yet, but it will be in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in a beautifully decorated room in Amsterdam that exceeded all my expectations. The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the tasteful and elegant décor that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail, from the stylish bathroom and curtains to the charming artwork, was thoughtfully chosen, making the room feel like a true retreat. Cleanliness was impeccable; the room was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with plush pillows that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The location of the accommodation was perfect. It was conveniently situated, everything was just a short walk or bike ride away. The hosts.. andré and Inez are the most friendly welcoming people who are just around the corner and happy to help with anything Overall, this stay in Amsterdam was exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located room with a beautiful aesthetic. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to the city!
