2 staff who were on when we first arrived were so helpful and friendly. Great at their job. Great little discount cards to take. They are very helpful with taxis. Taxis were lovely clean and kind drivers. Explained parking clearly. Umbrellas available to use free was nice. Nice to have robes in the room for after shower.

The breakfast was empty for alot of people. Windows weren't clean. No glasses in bathroom, sugar for coffee or face cloths In the room

Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas para el precio de la habitacion y ser un 4 estrellas.

Suite com 2 camas de solteiro e uma de casal. O quarto encontra-se bem decorado e dotado de máquina de café e chaleira elétrica, o que permite fazer café e chá durante a noite. No frigobar existiam 4 garrafas de água, cortesia do alojamento. Casa de banho de grandes dimensões.

A chaleira elétrica encontrava-se suja com restos de comida, possivelmente provocados pelo cliente anterior. A base de duche ao final de um banho entupiu, tendo sido necessária intervenção de um funcionário do hotel que conseguiu desentupir momentaneamente, permitindo tomar os restantes duches. Junto à cama de casal havia um vidro rachado, o que se tornava precioso para as crianças. Havia muito pó debaixo das camas individuais. Pelo valor praticado, o alojamento devia ter melhores condições.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk

Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door de medewerkster. De communicatie verliep soms wat moeizaam, omdat er deels Engels en deels Nederlands werd gesproken, maar de ontvangst zelf was vriendelijk. Helaas kwamen we bij aankomst op onze kamer vrijwel direct een probleem tegen. De gordijnen waren dusdanig kapot dat ze half naar beneden hingen en niet volledig gesloten konden worden. Omdat onze kamer zich op de begane grond aan de straatkant bevond, vonden wij dit echt niet acceptabel vanwege onze privacy. We hebben hierover een bericht naar de receptie gestuurd en daar werd gelukkig heel snel op gereageerd. Binnen vijf minuten stond er iemand bij onze kamer en kregen we de kamer ernaast aangeboden. Dat snelle handelen waarderen we zeker. Wat ons wel verbaasde, was dat de kamer met de kapotte gordijnen vervolgens weer in orde werd gemaakt en later die avond opnieuw aan andere gasten werd toegewezen. Voor zover wij konden zien waren de gordijnen op dat moment nog steeds niet daadwerkelijk gerepareerd. Helaas bleek onze nieuwe kamer vervolgens ook behoorlijk wat gebreken te hebben. Onder het laken zagen we meerdere bruine vlekken op het matras. De badkamer had veel kalkaanslag, er zat schimmel en de deur van de douchecabine was kapot. Ook waren er vochtplekken op het plafond en waren er zichtbare beschadigingen aan het plafond boven het bed. De zakdoekjes in de badkamer waren op en wanneer je met blote voeten over de vloer liep, waren je voeten vrijwel direct zwart. Ook het waterreservoir van het koffieapparaat zat vol met kalkresten. Na de eerdere melding over de gordijnen hebben we dit niet opnieuw bij de receptie gemeld. Niet omdat we het niet ernstig genoeg vonden, maar omdat we niet als gasten wilden overkomen die over ieder detail klagen. Achteraf gezien hadden we dit eigenlijk wel moeten melden, want bij elkaar genomen waren dit geen kleine schoonheidsfoutjes meer. We verwachten absoluut geen vijfsterrenluxe.

El servicio diario a la habitación la mantenía limpia , la atención del personal fue buena a pesar que ninguno hablaba español y en general la zona muy tranquila y bien ubicada para caminar hacia el centro !! Muchísimas gracias a todos

Rubbish hotel. Smelly bedrooms full with weed smell. Rooms and toilets are very tinny. Staff is not trained at all. I checked in after 1:00 pm travelling from far and as soon as i approached the room was able to smell WEED and asked the staff to change the room. She started telling me oh i don’t have any alternative room. I phoned booking.com and they were not able to do anything. I was in a very difficult situation in middle of night.This hotel is OOO000 star rating. They advertised this is 3 or 4 star. They even dont have any clue what stat means. Learn from Inter Continental, Holiday inn, Hilton etc. learn how front desk works in hospitality sector. Booking.com should send mystery shoppers to access room bath hygiene along with the balconies where people smoke. Complete Rip off. Don’t recommend any decent family to stay here !

Die Lage ist verkehrstechnisch wirklich super. 5 min zu Bahn und ab in die Stadt. Oder einfach zu Fuss.. Superfreundliches Personal, Tiefgarage für 40 Euro die Nacht erscheint teuer; aber parkt mal falsch oder zu lange, dann ist das ein Schnäppchen ;-). Unser Zimmer war komfortabel und hübsch eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Was uns nicht so gut gefiel war die Sauberkeit. Ornamente sollten abgestaubt werden und der Lüfter im fensterlosen Bad funktionieren.

Sala śniadaniowa za mała w stosunku do ilości gości. Brakowało miejsca i personel nie nadążał z uzupełnianiem braków. Odpływ pod prysznicem ledwo dawał radę.

This was our second trip to Grand Hotel Downtown, the location is great. Lots of cafes and restaurants around and the area feels safe. The staff were very helpful when our television broke.

The bed is very soft which was not great for backs. The cleaning is not always done on time, often in the afternoon. The shower door is impossible to open without water leaking onto the floor.

Die Lage des Grand Hotel Downtown ist wirklich sehr gut. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Innenstadt kann man bequem zu Fuß erreichen, und auch die Straßenbahn ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Unser Zimmer war allerdings leider eine Enttäuschung. Es lag praktisch direkt an der Straße, sodass man sich trotz vorhandenen Sichtschutzes teilweise wie in einem Schaufenster gefühlt hat. Dadurch war es schwierig, das Fenster bzw. die Vorhänge offen zu lassen, ohne dass Passanten ins Zimmer schauen konnten. Insgesamt ist die Lage ein großer Pluspunkt, bei der Zimmerwahl sollte man jedoch darauf achten, ein Zimmer zur ruhigeren Seite zu bekommen.

Lage war super und sehr zentral. Parkplatz teuer aber direkt am Hotel. Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal.

Frühstück entsprach nicht meinen Vorstellungen. Sehr einfach, keine richtigen Brötchen. Kaffee aus der Maschine war auch alles andere als lecker.

Staff was not friendly at all, they don't seem that bothered, no greetings and even a smile on the face. I have seen some staff using their phones at reception and ignoring guests and room was very small for the price we paid.

Great location, very central, near a lot of amenities. Staff are friendly. And has good ventilation (it was extremely hot when we visited).

The room wasnt clean. They clearly only changed the sheets and towers. Toilet had stains of use, there was hair in the shower (wall and drain) and the bedroom floor was dirty as if no one ever mopped (had dark stains everywhere and was a bit greasy) - I would never walk there barefoot.

Las habitaciones están en una planta baja. Las sábanas bajeras las colocaban mal y se soltaban por la noche. Imagino que porque temíamos otra cama añadida y no podían acceder a un lado de la cama, por lo que no le dimos mucha importancia.

La amabilidad del personal, la habitación espaciosa y la cama amplia y cómoda, la calidad de las amenities, el amplio horario del desayuno. Está ubicado en una zona tranquila y bonita y bien comunicado con el centro.

Eché en falta algo más de variedad de fruta en el desayuno.

Eine relativ gute Lage - zu Fuss bis zum Zentrum/ zu den Einkaufsstraßen ca. 15 Min Tiefgarage vorhanden und praktisch, aber hohe Kosten: 40 Euro ab Anreise bis 15h am nächsten Tag (keine 24h)

Zimmer angeblich Deluxe (im EG) war weit davon entfernt, sehr dunkel und ungemütlich Hotel bewerten wir mit 3 Sternen und nicht mit 4 Sternen Die Aussentür zum Komplexgebäude extrem laut und jedes mal aufschreckend (bis ca. 22.30 immerhin) Frühstück etwas eingeschränkt.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

de bereikbaarheid was goed en het personeel was vriendelijk.

Wij hadden een penthouse gehuurd . Het uitzicht was geweldig. De kamer was aan vernieuwing toe, De deur van de douche was niet waterdicht, de dichting was weg onderaan de deur waardoor de badkamer onder liep. Ook kwam het behangpapier in de slaapkamer los en in de badkamer hing de lamellen vol stof en ook de verluchting was niet proper. Het hotel is geen 4 sterren meer waard. Daardoor hebben wij naar mijn mening veel te veel betaald.

We had 3 days of 34-38 degrees outside and couldn’t get room temp below 25 on our last day the cleaner took the card out the electricity box meaning no air con had been on all day room was stifling. (The room had a card in the electricity box when we arrived and receptionist asked if we’d been leaving card in it.. yes of course!)I asked for a fan but one never appeared. Didn’t sleep well each night due to heat. No windows open

Het schoonmaken van de faciliteit! Kamer was ronduit vies en vuil. Koffieapparaat was stuk. Koffiekopjes werden niet vervangen voor schone maar omgespoeld in de badkamer. Schimmel op de muren. Gescheurde en vieze gordijnen. Ontbijt ruimte en buffet te klein voor het aantal gasten. Te weinig personeel om het ontbijt in goede banen te leiden. Tafels vol met achtergelaten servies en etensresten.

Estuve 2 noches , la persona que nos atendió por la tarde noche en recepción fue muy amable y atento las dos ocaciones( la segunda apesar de llegar casi a las 12am). La habitación con terraza esta increíble ya que se puede ver gran parte de la ciudad

La primera habitación un poco pequeña, la segunda el baño tenía salida a la terraza , no tuve ningún contratiempo, solo se me hace un poco inseguro.

La descrizione sul sito è ingannevole, le stanze disponibili su booking sono al piano terra con affaccio su stradina laterale che quando siamo arrivati era sporca con mucchio di rifiuti davanti. Non é vero inoltre che l'albergo è dotato di terrazza come descrito sul sito, accessibile ai clienti. Solo alcune camere del 5 piano hanno terrazzo privato. Quindi sono ingannevoli le immagini pubblicate e la descrizione data dei servizi dell'albergo. La colazione è scarsa e il personale poco disponibile e non attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Anche la pulizia è discutibile. Osservo che il sostegno della doccia del telefono era rotto e non e stato aggiustato! Esperienza quindi molto negativa,

Good value for money..Room was big . And clean. Nice sized bathroom only sad was no bath only shower. Very comfortable bed and to many pillows so we can't decide if we sleep on one or all of them. Very close to city center if you like walking like me and my partner. Car park good and in hotel area .only booking don't let us know we have to book separate parking to get access code and pay 40 euro extra per night. But was ok competing to other parking 50-60 euro per night.. Breakfast was good like every hotel English breakfast. If I drive again to Amsterdam I gonna book same hotel for me or for my friends . L'emplacement de l'hôtel était idéal et le personnel était très accueillant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

À notre arrivée, la chambre était sale. Nous avons trouvé une assiette cassée ainsi que des serviettes sales laissées sur le sol, ce qui est inacceptable. Le petit-déjeuner a également été très décevant. Il n'y avait pas de machine à café : nous devions demander au réceptionniste de nous préparer un café dans la cuisine. Le buffet était très limité et sans variété. Pendant les trois jours de notre séjour, c'était exactement le même choix : œufs, pain et quelques viennoiseries sèches. De plus, à partir de 9 h, il n'y avait souvent plus grand-chose à manger, et même plus d'eau à disposition.

There was loud banging when trying to get our baby to sleep. Breakfast was also not good if you weren’t down first thing as a lot of things were gone.

Wie das Hotel zu seinem Namen und den 4* kommt, ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Die Standardzimmer im Erdgeschoß sind finstere, verwinkelte und stickige Löcher. Auch das teuerste Zimmer im 6. Stock ist abgewohnt. (Klimaanlage mit Eigenleben, löchriges Leintung, schlecht funktionierender Abfluss im Bad, Terassentür geht nur manchmal auf etc.)

Unfortunately, this hotel was disappointing. It feels very outdated and doesn’t seem to be well maintained. The room was very small, the overall atmosphere was quite gloomy, and the hotel generally didn’t look or feel very clean. The biggest issue was seeing a mouse in the restaurant area, which was very concerning. The bathroom was also poorly designed, every time I showered, water flooded the bathroom floor no matter how careful I was. The WiFi was unreliable, also, and barely worked during my stay. The staff were polite and friendly, which was the only real positive. Overall, while the location may be convenient, the hotel is in need of significant renovation and better maintenance. I wouldn’t stay there again.

love the vibes! we are staying at the penthouse for 8 days in total. the breakfast was great, views from our balcony is everything! the location is the best, few steps to restaurants, supermarkets and attractions (anne frank house, van gogh, moco) and not to forget to mention everybody who worked there are amazing! the front desk and the manager! bravo!

המיקום ענה על הצרכים שלנו, החדר גדול סיחס ליתר המקומות באיזור והמרפסת של הפנהאוז עזרה לנו מאוד עם ילד קטן. הצוות היה אדיב ושירותי.

החדר מלוכלך, המקלחת עם עובש בפתחי הביוב, אין הצללה מלאה לחדר )בימי אור מאוחר זה משמעותי מאוד(. במסדרונות המלון ריח בדלים וסיגריות בזמן ארוחת הבוקר אין תמיד מקום לשבת
