Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Riverside is in an ideal location situated across the road from the river walk, The apartment is at the end of a cul de sac and is quiet and peaceful yet only a short distance to shops and eateries. The apartment has everything you need and some, The bed was very comfortable and the shower hot and strong, The apartment is cosy and well appointed including a pantry and laundry, It is ideal for short or long stays.
i can't fault Riverside Apartment, Oue stay was perfect!

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Small cozy place but has everything that you need. we love the little thoughts of decorating the place to make it feel like a home away from home. good quality furnitures, fittings, tiles etc. great tea selection! very neat and clean with sufficient heating provided in winter
The sofa bed wasn't the comfiest but wouldn't complain much as it is a typical sofa bed. however, do take note that the sofa bed is at the same space as the kitchen area, so you may be disturbed by the sound of fridge compressors, lights from outside that shines through the door in the morning etc. There are people living upstairs of the property so sometimes you will hear footsteps from below. There are no disturbance at night so not really an issue.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Gorgeous little apartment in a perfect location on the river. Very comfortable bed (I wish I’d looked to see what brand the mattress was!) and a nice cozy living space. Well equipped kitchen and tidy bathroom/laundry space. I loved making a coffee in the morning and wandering over to the riverside to drink it and take in the peaceful surroundings.

The location is perfect for nature lovers—we really enjoyed having the river and reserve walk right at our doorstep for casual evening strolls. The apartment itself was incredibly well-equipped. Having a washing machine in the unit was a huge relief mid-trip, and the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil we could possibly need. We were also touched by the thoughtful Christmas goodies left for us; the host truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Omg so this won’t effect everyone, but we had all night rain/light showers and there is a down pipe that goes into the fish pond right outside the unit and it’s was a loud constant drain running/dripping noise all night long

Well equipped kitchen with handy staples like oil, vinegar etc. The bed was very comfortable too! Although located under main house, the apartment feels nice and private with no need to trouble hosts as everything you could want is easy to find and use. Delighted to recommend.
Having a washing machine is great - would be even better if there was a dryer!

Plenty of cooking implements and a good variety of crockery and cutlery, also BBQ available. Wonderful walking tracks by the river. Hosts were extremely helpful when wifi issues occurred.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2025Brilliant location. Lovely clean and comfortable little apartment, with everything I needed for a short stay and could easily work for a longer stay. If I even need to come back to Hamilton I would see if I could stay here.
The TV sound is awful, but since I barely used it, that didn't really matter. I couldn't work out how to get the heater in the lounge to heat, before realising there was a heat pump in the bedroom that heated the whole apartment easily.

If using the sofa bed the fridge lights etc did light up the room so an eye mask would be needed, if this would annoy you.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2025We loved the apartment. It had everything we needed making the stay very enjoyable. The quality of the services was great, and the room was very clean. The location meant that we were not kept awake during the night with sirens and it was directly across the road from the river with easy access to the walking path.
We were the bottom apartment which meant that was a little bit of noise from above, but not enough to stop us from booking it again.

Nothing stands out that I would say we disliked. After an initial bit of confusion from both the property owners and us everything fell in place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
