The house was situated across the road from where rowdy drunk group gathered. No heating in the bedrooms and is advertised as 2 bathrooms which it is NOT.

This townhouse truly felt like our home away from home. Its location was perfect, just a short distance from Gisborne city centre, and it worked really well for our small whānau. We loved spending time in the backyard, taking in the beautiful views and stunning Gisborne sunsets. The local artwork displayed throughout the home added a special touch and gave us a real appreciation for the talent within the community. Communication with the host was excellent, and the space provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy quality time together as a whānau. Thank you for creating such a warm and welcoming place for us and our tamariki.

The location, the size

Location was great short walking distance to everything with a pleasant outlook. Well appointed and nice and clean. Would not hesitate to book again.

logging trucks started quite early in the morning but not unbearable It would have been nice to have a second set of keys as we were two couples

Casa in centro, un po rumorosa, con un bel giardino sul retro, vicno a ristoranti ed attrazioni.

Cosy, clean, very tidy, very welcoming and location is ideal. Close to town, 2min walk to resturants, overlooks the 3 rivers. What more could you want. This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Adrian's family holiday home and will call on him again the next time we're in Gizzy. Great hosts, its a home away from home had a great time, we'll be back.

No complaints from us

I loved the great central location — it was so convenient and easy to get around. The place was spotless and really well cared for, with a secure fenced area that was perfect for my dog. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful, with stunning views to end each day. It felt peaceful, private, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay

The house was absolutely spotless, well equipped and a perfect place for 4 people. The bedding was lovely, the beds were very comfortable and the location was excellent. Lovely views of the river and very near main street.

Good location on the river. Easy walking distance to town and harbour. Nicely furnished with the best lounge suite

Bedrooms very small but adequate. Good sized bathroom/toilet combo downstairs near bedrooms but second toilet upstairs and right beside the kitchen????

Good location to town and restaurants and nice sunny spot.

Was able to take my small dog but the property wasn’t completely fenced safely as had big gaps at the bottom so couldn’t let her out there on her own.

Fantastic location. Furnished really well and the hosts thought of the smaller things too, which really made a difference. Definitely rate this as a place to stay if you are heading to Gisborne.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at this home. The host is lovely, the house was spotless, beautifully presented, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the area. What stood out most was the personal care and kindness shown throughout my stay — something you just don’t find in hotels. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for comfort, I can’t wait to return!

The location is ace, very convenient for most of things we wanted to do. And the views from the windows and balcony are great too! The house owner is very thoughtful, we can find everything we need in the house.

Lock box number given by Booking.com was incorrect. Luckily, owner was on phone and gave us correct number

Light switch in upstairs toilet wasn't working.

Great view on the riverbank, very clean and nice rooms and bed for resting, lovely pictures hang on the wall. Everything is wonderful.

The his property was excellent Clean and tidy..well equipped kitchen..lovely backyard and very homely.Great location…would definitely recommend

Nothing could have been better

The location is on the town boundary next to the river, within walking distance of the town centre—it's in the perfect location. It was clean, comfortable, very well maintained, and renovated for a 1975 dwelling, with new carpet. Very happy with our stay. Recommend it to anyone visiting Gisborne or the East Coast.

The flooring was soft, clean and comfortable, location was superb. Beds were comfortable and met our needs. Fabulous to have laundry facilities. Loved the variety of art on display

Water was extremely hot, Too hot. could be turned down for safety and engery efficiency to 55’Celsius I think this may have had an impact on the pressure in the shower. Cat spray odour at/near entrance security door

Fantastic property! Close to shops and the river. Perfect location for us across the road from the river. Dining area looks out to river. We sat on the deck at night enjoying the breeze and the still night. The house had everything we needed and more !The owner was very communicative and easy to deal with.

Kitchen and lounge. Flowers (fresh) on the table. Nice carpet.

May I suggest a hair dryer and instructions for checkout. Otherwise nothing that we didn't like.

My whanau loved the property, the location and the view

Loved our stay! Very clean and was very accomadating🙂 spacious with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! We traveled with our 8 month old puppy ( pet friendly accomadation) 🙂 thankful and greatfull. Beautiful townhouse! We will definitely be back to stay.

Location is awesome. So close to everything. The house was nice and spacious, comfy also clean. To top it off the view is👍

Only problem was there was only 6 towels for 4 people for 2nights. Or maybe if there was a clothes dryer we would of been able to reuse them.
