My son and I stayed at Broadlands Windermere Hotel. I can honestly say that everything during our stay was excellent. This place is 10 out of 10. It has an excellent atmosphere, with beautiful, bright, and clean room with little kitchen facilities, coffee, tea, healthy snacks and porridges. The bedding was the high quality and we had the best sleep. The entrance and little front garden is beautiful. It also has the best location, only a 5 minute walk to the shops and cafe. 25 minutes walking distance to the Windermere lake. There is a mini market only 2 minutes away. The family hotel host was an incredibly kind, friendly, and warm hearted person. We had an amazing experience overall, and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back. Thank you! 🙏

Dawn make us feel very welcome and she even supply's snacks and coffee and tea facilities including bottles of water in the rooms . the beds, pillows and shower are really comfortable abd plenty of supply of towels and room very clean we arrived on a day when it was 30degrees ( extremely hot ) and dawn and kept the curtains close to keep the room cool aswel as given us a fan as we were staying on the top floor in a twin room which was very compatible had all upu need in a room. broadlands is idealy location and plenty of places yo eat and drink from cafes to bats but still very quiet to enjoy the peace facing a park and bus stop just at the end of the street which will take yoy down to bowness pier where you can get a boat to albumside. I would definitely be going back to broadlands again and would definitely recommend it but unfortunately its not for anyone that had difficulties with stairs as there is alot to climb but they do have hand rails and it help me to burn off the calories after my fish and chips and my bacon butties from greggs There also local supermarkets very near by even you run short of essentials like sainburys and the co-op. The only request that dawn askes is please respect dawn property by not bringing back takeaways into your rooms due to spilages and smells for other guests. And keep the noise down due to other guests sleeping if you return late at night . Personally I dont think thats a bad respect so we sat in the park on a hot summer night and enjoy our pizza. I look forward to coming back to broadlands again next july . Thank you dawn , for having us and it was a pleasure to stay at your loveky home. Oh also for guests that traveling by trains or bus you can leave your luggage at the tourist information for £10 a day up untill 4pm in their lockers which holds up to a very large suitcase .

It was very hot weather and room was hot but the owner put a fan in so that really helped.

윈더미어 역에서도 가깝고 보우네스까지 걷기도 좋고 그라스미어마 케직까지도 다녀오기 좋은 이점이 있다. 혼자 지내기에 충분한 공간과 청결도가 맘에 든다. 새소리를 들으며 잠 깰 수 있다는것이 신기했다.

체크인 4시인데 짐을 맡길 수 없어 인근 투어리스트 인포에 10파운드나 주고 짐을 맡겨야만 했다. 게스트 하우스라 사정이 여의치 않은건 이해하지만.

The property was beautifully decorated and it has been set up to really encourage convenience for the customers. The owners have really thought through the rooms and provided a well presented, clean and lovely place. The price was reasonable, location was great and we just loved it all so much!

No breakfast provided except porridge and biscuit in room. The room was very small. Smaller than I expected. I didn’t spend much time in room to be fair. Dawn couldn’t have been nicer.

The location is very central within Windermere, 10 mins max to train station and a bus stop outside. You could walk down to Bowness within 20 mins.

There wasn't a pretty view from my room.

Excellent location to train station, tour stop, restaurant and bars. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Only issue was I didn't know how to use the shower. As it was after 9pm, I phoned a friend who guided me on the system.

One of the best b&bs I have ever stayed in! Dawn was so lovely, always found with a smile on her face. I especially loved how efficient the cleaning services were (offered daily). There were also lots of complimentary bits (some ready to eat oats, breakfast bars alongside the usual tea and coffee). The rooms are so lovingly furnished!

The room was very well appointed and exceptionally clean. Perfect location to explore the Lake District and the bed was comfy. Easy parking across the road (with a cost). The owner was friendly and very helpful. Such an easy walk into town centre and close to all amenities.

We were met by the owner of Broadlands who was very personable and helpful. She showed us to our room which was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The room had everything we required and our stay, although short, was most enjoyable. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Windermere.

The location is right in the middle of Windermere close to shops restaurants,bars and the train station We took a walk down to the lake which was about 20 mins down hill but lovely if you’re fit enough

The rooms were comfortable enough but you could hear people in other rooms quite easily . It just depends if you have inconsiderate people in There was a problem with the showers but a plumber was going to be called

Friendly welcome to a spotless cosy, comfortable room. Loved our stay at this perfect spot. Two minutes walk into the centre of Windemere, room tidied and new breakfast items left each day, parking in the street reasonably easy. Really the best value accommodation I've stayed in for a long time. Highly recommend.

Cleanliness & responsiveness of host. Room tidy each night with snack replenishment. Bath - ease the aching legs after hikes.

Maybe a few too many breakable/decorative trinkets covering surfaces I wanted to use.

Lovely clean room. Pretty room. Bathroom was clean. Facilities were great. Had a good size tv in the room, even a dressing table where I got ready. Owners were lovely and we felt comfortable asking any questions. There was a clear brochure on the door with all the information you need. I would definitely stay here again!

Dust in corners of the room. Maybe a few sachets of hot chocolate would've been nice as we stayed two nights and it was Christmas season. The view outside the window was scaffolding in a back yard, would've been nice to know beforehand.

A fantastic little bolt hole in the perfect location - minutes from Windermere station. Lovely owner. Plenty of tea coffee and nibbles which was a lovely surprise. Clean, warm and comfortable - would stay again.

The room was exactly what I was expecting, and the extra information provided by the guesthouse (especially with regard to parking) meant that I was prepared. The breakfast items provided in the room were a nice touch, although I had brought my own (as the property information made it clear that it was a room only tariff). I had a lovely warm greeting on arrival with some simple instructions.

The radiator in the room did not warm through completely and I think needed the air bleeding out of it. Unfortunately on most of the days I was in the area it rained, so drying things out was a challenge. Although not the properties fault and completely out of its control, the parking situation was not the best although I'd advise future visitors to use the PayByPhone app if using the Pay & Display - so easy to extend if you need to.

Our stay at Broadlands is absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable – central for everything you need, yet wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The beds are incredibly comfortable – we sleep like logs and wake up feeling completely rested. Lovely bathroom, hot shower. The setting is calm and relaxing, with everything you could possibly need for an stress-free break. Dawn is an exceptional host – warm, attentive, and clearly dedicated to giving her guests the best experience possible. We leave feeling refreshed and are already planning our return. Broadlands is a real gem – the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and tranquillity. Highly recommended!

A gem - it was absolutely perfect from start to finish.

The bed was very comfortable, plenty of tea and coffee in the room topped up daily and the location was excellent for the train station and town centre.

Whilst the size of room 3 was ok (I've had much smaller rooms in other guest houses) the bathroom was very narrow meaning the sink and shower cubicle were small.

Absolutely fantastic place. Its lovely and clean and all lovely furniture. The bed is so comfortable and lovely room to move about in. A mini fridge was in our room which was a lovely touch. The views from our room were lovely and alot of shops were a 5 min walk away and there shops about a mile away. Windermere is also a lovely place to stay.

I can't find anything to find wrong with the place at all.
