Basic, but had everything we needed! Great location. Easy access , helpful staff who responded promptly to my questions/ queries.

The location was great

We went as a family so we had 3 apartments Apartment 3,4,5 Apartment 3 only had hot water for about an hour around 4pm the other 2 had water so hot you struggled to get it cool enough to use Very sparse in cutlery plates cups pans ect The heater in the smaller bedroom would not work The bedding in room 5 on the double bed was stained so they had to use the 2 singles All the doors had the same key code which we thought odd but okay but then read that the same code was on every door so anyone who could get in the main door could get into any apartment and thefts had been previously reported The apartments needed serious maintenance such as lightbulbs replacing locks on toilets or the doors unable to close properly ,cracked windows and in need of a really good scrub

Shower area as tended to leak onto floor causing overfill of water but there was another bathroom with a bath in use.

We were supplied with code numbers for the main door to the building and the door to the apartment. The main door could be pushed open without using the key pad. Anyone could have entered the premises..The building was reminiscent of a hostel. Very shabby and uninviting. Very noisy at night. A very unpleasant “welcome pack” in the shape of a half eaten pizza and garlic dip plus a carton of rancid milk left in the fridge, together with a pair of men’s underpants and socks in the bedroom. We stayed for one night of the two I booked. It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed .

Good location, carpark close by (had purchased a parking scratch card but decided the carpark was more practical) nice friendly cafe across the road for breakfast. Spacious apartment.

Cleaning standards could be better. Dirty hand print on the wall in the bathroom and sealant around the shower tray needs replacing. Very pungent drain smell. No safety on the sash windows which are very low and we had small children. Didn't understand the TV / WiFi situation as half the buttons on the remote control didn't work

The location is ideal for a stay in Whitby.

It was t the cleanest of properties, decor & maintenance were poor. Considering it’s on a main road, noise proofing could be improved with better windows. Windows were cracked & broken. No plug for lights on bedside tables.

Liked the apartment kitchen area was good . Nice touch to have tea coffee sugar washing up liquid etc. The cost of the apartment for four people is brilliant

Our room had two single beds which were so uncomfortable. They either need replacing or new mattresses I actually slept one night on the sofa which was slightly more comfortable. The cover on the sofa had holes in down the sides and I think a previous guest had had a cat in because there were cat hairs all over. I am allergic to cats so that led to a uncomfortable two days. I imagine the cleaners only have a certain amount of time to clean each apartment which would account for it being not as clean as it should be.

The smoke alarm going off at 4am when I took off the wall, there was no battery inside it. Surely that is elite reality when renting out a place. The Wi-Fi was very hit miss too.

My only gripe was thick cobwebs in one of the rooms. The rest was great.

Location and privacy

It was a convenient location and not too far away from all the attractions. It was spacious and accommodated 8 people really well. The beds were comfortable and the bath was good!

It was difficult to get in when we arrived and I had to call for assistance. Clearer instructions on how to use the key pads and input the codes would've been a life saver. We unfortunately had some plumbing issues as the shower kept flooding and there was an awful sour smell coming from the pipes in that bathroom. Lastly there were no instructions of what to do with our recycling so we winged it and left it all in a bin bag next to the rubbish bin. This didn't seem to be a problem in the end.

The apartment was large, pretty comfortable and in a great spot.

The single beds were very sqeeky and pretty uncomfortable. I messaged as soon as we arrived to ask about the WiFi password and never received a reply. There was no signs anywhere giving the password.

It was a really good apartment only thing it needed a tiny bit of TLC as shower only stayed on hot or burn and a few attachment where missing from shower and there was patches of wallpaper missing where it looks like something had been removed otherwise it was lovely decorated and would stay again internet wasn’t the greatest as I was on a working holiday and need better internet but if it was a normal stay wouldn’t of bothered me

La ubicación es lo mejor.

Apartamento muy antiguo lleno de polvo y en mal estado. El baño olía mal, había algo que no funcionaba bien. El baño ha sido lo peor de la casa. No recomiendo este alojamiento.

The location is great.

The internet hardly worked, I think I managed to connect to the WiFi internet on one of the four devices we tried for about 20 minutes during our 2 day stay before it dropped out. The TV only gets terrestrial channels despite signs saying it gets internet. We reported the WiFi problems but nothing changed. There is also no signal for using the internet without WiFi. The work surfaces were sticky, the shower was mouldy and the floors were not clean. There was not enough cutlery for even one round of food. We had to take turns to use the spoon.

The entry pin machine is not very intuitive. More instructions on how to use it would be helpful.

The apartment was in a great location, making it easy to explore Whitby on foot. It was clean, and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we felt it offered good value for money and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit.

The beds were unfortunately quite uncomfortable, and the fridge was rather noisy, especially at night. There were a few stains on the carpets, and the shower could do with being resealed as there was some mould around it. These were fairly minor issues, though, and overall we still enjoyed our stay and felt it represented good value for money.

It was very clean and close to town. The windows opened to ketcool. Air in at night which was nice. It was quite as well even though it was near the front.

My bed was a it lumpy and heard. The parking was confusing but OK.

The location was perfect and there was a lot of space for the price. The communication for providing information for how to get into the flat using the codes was very helpful.

It wasn't very cosy or comfortable in the rooms and the shower room had a very unpleasant drain smell the entire time. We also found the flat to be very hot especially at night.

If you want luxury it's probably not for you but if you want a good, clean, spacious apartment in a great location it's bang on. Kitchen well equipped for 4 people, settee and chairs comfy, telly good, bathroom lovely, shower good, worked fine. Clean bedding, towels and pillows. Everything you need for a no fuss holiday. Its brilliant, I'd definitely stay again.

Lift long term broken so had to walk up 3 flights of stairs, was a bit tough on the knees. Single bed a bit squeaky, seagulls blooming noisy!

Beautiful layout and decor. Everything inside you could need for a short break. Spotlessly clean and smelling fresh. We hadn't expected towels which was a lovely bonus. Located right in the middle between the main town and the tourist part. Closest parking is a minute walk away but drive carefully the surface is unfinished and full of craters. No on street parking outside as the road is tiny.

The shower had some damage but didn't impact the use at all (it was the style with 2 body jets as well as the main overhead and there was a head missing)

The only thing I noticed is the freezer in the fridge is not clean, there are some left overs/ spills from the previous renter.

I have completed this feedback form several times with no response to my comments , including no working lift , could y use parking permit at all , so lost money

The shower was powerful.

The bed were rickety and made a noise whenever a person moved. The fridges shelving were broken and the dining table had a horrid stickiness to it that we couldnt remove with multiple cleanings. The shower had black mold along the sides and bottom and it leaked very quickly.

Parking permit was useless because W zone was always full Gave up and paid £20 to stay in the pay and display even though I’d already paid £20 for two permits Key pad on door was unfathomable because there is no instruction to put your palm on the pad to get the numbers to display so the code can be entered - very frustrating after spending an hour and a half getting parked Flat was just a crash pad really so didn’t need to be luxurious and I understand this is more the budget end of the market but disappointed at the minimal cutlery, utensils. Shower had mould, rust round the hot plates on the hob, furniture all a bit of mismatched. I really haven’t ever been a complainer but I do think honesty about the parking, a note next to the key pad and maybe a little bit more than basic amenities at the flat would make the world of difference to guests.

Stayed here in the past. Location is excellent as is the size of the property.

Wasn't happy that the lift is permanently out of order as we were staying on the top floor. Property needs a bit of TLC, as there was stains on living carpet and wall. Also bed side lights only worked in two of the four bedrooms. We would stay again.

Location was brilliant, close to The harbour shops bars restaurants etc. Nice and tidy, perfect for what we wanted it for. Definitely book again.

The single beds were Squeaky when moving in bed so probably need changing. Had to drag mattresses into the living room to have a squeak free sleep. Hot water didn’t work to start but once I phoned up the staff they rectified it within a short space of time.

Absolutely fantastic location. Very clean & comfortable and everything we needed for our short break with friends & family.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It's a basic accommodation, at a very reasonable price, really can't knock the place.

Excellent apartment. Good location with easy walking access to town centre and West Cliffs.

Parking is a challenge. We couldn't find anywhere closer than 200 m from apartment, which was a nuisance, but this is Whitby - most apartments will have similar challenges.

The frames of the twin beds were very squeaky! Parking was a bit tricky but that's not the fault of the property. That's Whitby as a whole. Ordered the parking permit a bit late but it was there when we arrived. And if you want to cook, there aren't many utensils.

The 2 single beds were only really suitable for children. I was with my older brother so he had the double. I was in the single and wouldn't want to spend more than 1 night in it.

There was 3 of us only 2 negative for the place was the beds ...I've never slept in a bed that makes so much noise. Hardly slept at all...every move was noisy . The shower was extremely hot couldn't seem to get it to a warm flow. Other than that very nice place very warm place. Just beds need good mattresses.

- loads of space, big bedrooms and lounge area - extremely clean and tidy - lots of natural light - easy check in process (just place your palm over the keypad, it will activate then you can put in the numbers!) - cutlery, washing up liquid, soap all provided

- in flat 5, the shower setting was stuck on incredibly boiling hot so this may not suit some people! - the double bedroom had a big dip in the mattress - no blackout curtains so it was very bright in the morning

nobody informed us that there were four flights of stairs. I'm 81 years old and found it really difficult carrying things up to our flat. especially when there is a lift in the building, with a notice saying permanently out of order!

The location was brilliant was a little unhappy about going up two flights of stairs with the two dogs but overall it was clean and tidy for the two days we we're there
