stayed here twice now. sadly they do not do breakfast anymore. could do with a bit of tlc. here and there in cupboard in bathroom the bin had not been emptied from previous guests and walls and floor is very grubby,hopefully it is in process of some re decorating,as it is a truly lovely place with the added bonus of the little animal farm.

flooring in bathroom has all peeled away to bare wood. awful stained walls around the sink. it has sadly gone downhill since we last stayed here. it felt like room had not been properly cleaned -sorry !

This was an absolutely beautiful place, we had the most amazing relaxed weekend and it was the reset me and my partner both needed. Sitting on the decking whilst enjoying a drink and food was my favourite part. The lady that works on reception was extremely helpful and lovely. Perfect stay and will definitely be visiting again.

Bedding, bathroom and towels all spotless and clean. Same with the hot-tub, lovely views onto the lake from the decking.

I feel since our last visit 2yrs ago it’s been let go a bit. The lodge needs some TLC everything’s looking a little tired. Walls need a paint and everything just needs refreshing. I know this time of year there will be spiders and being by water and lots of trees, but my partner had to remove lots of spiders and web’s specially in the main bedroom.

The room was big and spacious. And the hot tub facility private was fantastic.

Wanted to arrive , have something to eat and chill in the hotel room. But with no restaurant or vending machines on-site, we had to get back in the car and drive to Go and get Something. We ended up at the chip shop up the road which was very expensive and the portion size was ridiculous for adults. So if staying in this hotel , take your own food.

We loved the hot tub and sitting on the decking at the back of our lodge watching the ducks and seeing all the fish in the evening while the sun was going down my partner really enjoyed the fishing as I surprised him with this little over night stay for our anniversary I also informed the staff and they helped make it special

Booked for a work trip and couldn’t believe my luck, a little slice of paradise! The lake is stunning with fish swimming right up to the balcony and the ducks visiting. Gorgeous for bird watching and just chilling with a book. There is a noise curfew of 10pm too which suited me for even more peace! The bed was comfy and warm and the bathroom had everything you’d need. There also are a few animals on the way in which are super cute. Check in/out very quick and simple.

A couple of blankets for sitting outside in the evening would be a nice finishing touch.

Receptionist was lovely down to earth and funny, a real asset to the plsce Rooms were clean and really well equipped. Animals were gorgeous. Lodge was fantastic great facilities and absolutely loved the fish so happy and healthy. Amazing place

We were a group booking for 11. Communication was excellent - Paul and his team were fabulous - even though we were late to self-check-in the made sure all our room keys were marked up and allocated! It could not have been easier! The rooms were absolutely superb. Lots of thought gone into the electrics. Lighting and power points. Great for phone charging. Loved the early morning view from the decking and our friendly very quiet four-legged neighbours. An absolute gem!! Highly recommended.

Cozy, quiet and relaxing. Absolutely fantastic sleep, well needed! The lady on the desk was friendly and chatty and we loved the mini garden area with the pig, llamas and ostrich

Difficult to suggest negatives after the sleep i had but we did wake up to no hot water due to a failed boiler, these things happen. Reported it and they resolved it

Lovely location, was lovely being right on the waterside. Bed was comfortable enough.

The decor could do with a revamp, mould in bathroom etc. Lots of cobwebs and dust in the corridor. The restaurant wasn't open and wasn't told of this ahead of time. The exterior also looked a bit tired, overgrown areas and just needed a good tidy. Room was very hot and only a small fan provided so we had to prop the door open all night and barricade the dog in just for some fresh air through the night.

We stay most months and can't imagine staying anywhere else!!

A beautiful spacious room with a large bathroom and a lovely hot tub on the terrace, with beautiful views of the lake. We will definitely come back in the winter.

The shower in the bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly enough. I also found some spiders there, as well as in the room. There were quite a lot of cobwebs and spiders on the ceiling and above the terrace door, as well as around the terrace table. Despite this, I would still definitely recommend the place because it’s really lovely, and we will definitely be coming back :)

Lovely place but shower wasn't clean and thought outside where hottub is could of been cleaned up and outside chairs was indoor chairs but painted thought for the money would have better outdoor furniture but 100% stay again just need to update few things and the milk in the room was gone off missed my morning tea🤢 was going to tell staff but no one was there before we left

This place is fantastic. I had no idea what to expect, I left a really poor quality Airbnb and it was the best thing to happen to me! Amazing area and property, beautiful scenery. The rooms are incredibly comfy with really fun tech. I’d gladly stay here again! Thanks for everything (:

If I had to be picky the WiFi isn’t great if you need to do any work that involves video calls/downloads or uploads but it 100% fine for streaming and day to day use.

Lovely location, right on the lake. Very Tranquil. Great outdoors view. Plenty of large carp fish, swimming around our terrace, which you could feed. Accommodation , had everything you needed for a short stay, and was very comfortable. Great value for money.

There were some basic housekeeping issues. But overall, it didn’t really affect our stay. We had fantastic nights sleep in a very nice location.

As the location is away from the city it is refreshing after a busy day

Nothing like as advertised, unclean untidy and dillapidated facilities, stagnent water unsafe 'terrace' barely bog enough for two chairs, animals kept in tiny pens, disgusting. Walked out after 30 seconds in room..Huge disappointment.

The shower leaks all over the bathroom floor and the basin in the living area leaks, it’s very scruffy looking especially outside the accommodation. this could be a really lovely place if it was maintained better. Also there is no cafe/bar/snack bar that is advertised which was disappointing as we could have prepared better for our two night stay

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and the highlight of our visit was the exceptional service we received from the lady at the reception. She truly made our stay special letting my father fish at last min. We are very grateful for her outstanding customer service.

I cannot thank Alison and Paul enough for their effort in accommodating my daughter and I. My daughter has some health problems and they went above and beyond to answer all my questions. Our room was beautiful, overlooking the lake. The room was very clean, and we had a very relaxing overnight stay..

The whole place was lovely, great accomodation, great lake view and very tranquil. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay after a hectic day and would book there again when in the area for sure

Location perfect , quiet restful relaxing , the fish , the ducks . Every morning I just opened the door could step out and drink my coffee and be around nature .

It’s a bit dated but the people were so friendly we had a great stay .

Interesting Animals (I was walking to Bedworth and had to encourage a Goat back into the field as the wire fence had bent/broken, I tried to pull it back down to discourage them). Shower was good (when it worked) and a nice open front area. Fridge was useful with the water bottles.

The lack of control of the Air conditioning / lack of instruction of use. It was 30C for most of the night in the room. I brought my own fan alongside their own. And a 2am power cut for 2 hours was not needed, particularly with an electrical powered shower that didn’t work, only to open the sliding doors to let the heat out but the mosquitos in, what a joy when at 4am the power came back and got an hours sleep before waking and cuddling a coldish bottle of water from the fridge.

Room smelt like wet dog - we left early because of this and didn’t end up staying , carpet felt like a towel that had been dryed on the line, sofas were damp , bedding was damp but changed by staff, very overpriced for what it is. Needs a lot of work to the outside. Looked like a diy junk yard

The idea of being around a lake

Dirty needed a massive update . Windows full of cobwebs, around door plaster falling off. Bed frame painted bkack/ grey? All chipped. Sofa marked. Wouldn't go back. Bar area out of use😕

The room was super clean, spacious. Had everything we needed. The private dock was amazing. It was so much more than we expecting. All of the animals were super cute as well.

Nothing about the place, we were unlucky with people next door smoking weed but that's not the places fault.

We love how peaceful it is, rooms are well whipped and spotlessly clean, reception staff are also lovely, we don’t live to daft away but we do stay here regularly as a getaway for me and my husband

Very peaceful and room were clean

There were rusty radiators and shower rail, behind the fridge you could see it’s wasn’t painted just part you could see. The door to the room add a gap and to the veranda gap too. The floor was so crikey. The veranda were very dirty with cobwebs and dirty chairs and only had two chairs to seat outside. The beds had the mattress on top of hardboard which you could see. I feel for the price it was quite steep to stop in a place with issues.

It was clean and comfortable and convenient for getting to the arena. We used an uber.

I found it a little confusing, it had all mod cons and lots of gadgets, but then the furnishings and soft furnishing were old and worn, just needs a little TLC as it didn't match with all the technology. For example the net curtains were stained and had holes in and the shower rail rusty but we had CCTV of the driveway.
