Great location inside the fort, walking distance to anywhere. The biggest room is spacious.

It’s above a restaurant, which is fine, but it can be noisy. The lamps of the restaurant can be too bright, but there’s a shutter for the window that can be used. The room without the balcony is just next to the ACs so that one is very noisy.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. They were all very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was lovely. Beds were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this lovely spot in Galle fort.

A small kettle and bits for making a cup of tea in the room would be a good addition. The AC was set at 28°c and the remote control wouldn't charge it. Was a bit too warm for me.

When the power cut, they dont have any generaters or any other power supply. Staff is not friendly and not supportive.very bad experience.

Friendly staff. Location excellent. Restaurant main level, very good, prices high, but it's Galle Fort. Rooms are above with stairs up. Fruit at breakfast when I asked for it. Air conditioning in room. A tv there also. Clean.room, dark wood headboard, and floors. Comfy bed. Gave 2nd pillow when asked. Lots of coffee for breakfast, when asked, one cup at a time. Gave a bottle of water at breakfast when asked.

No poppers, rice flour, or breakfast for a gluten-free diet. Didn't really know anything about wheat flour being an allergy. Could be a language barrier. Very good off setting with fried eggs for everyone. Not flexible due to language. No kettle. No fridge. There is no water to drink in the room. There's no night table, but there's a chair. No wardrobe, one hanger from a wire. All OK for solo for one night. Small sink in washroom, hard to brush teeth with the wall blocking your head to reach over sink. The shower floods the entire floor in the washroom. Could use like a bath mat outside the step of the bathroom. There is a mat but doesn't absorb water at the bed. It's all workable, but the price is a bit high.

Lovely location in the Fort and the restaurant was amazing. Expensive compared to the rest of Sri Lanka but you are paying for the location. Overall lovely stay with lovely staff

Room was fairly small and I don't think we can expect a room bigger than what was given as the hotel was built on a very small floor area. Location was superb as it was inside the gallery fort.

The location was excellent. The room was value for money. Breakfast was reasonably good. The staff was extremely helpful, and they were a really kind and a pleasant bunch of guys. I would always go and stay there once again as it has made a special place in my heart

Fab location and room with balcony overlooking the bustling street. Rooms are over restaurant so great atmosphere but every night the music stopped/place closed as stated.

Rude awakening at 3.30am with 20 mins of alarm, phone and banging and shouting - apparently wake up call for night staff?!

Great location, in the middle of Galle Fort. Lovely restaurant down stairs, happy to have a balcony.

There were a few things that didnt work, a flashing light in the bathroom and an intermitently working aircon and right above the kitchen, so quite noisy and some shelf space is required to put your stuff

Very loud troubadour music in the evenings until 22/23. The house is not soundproof at all so it was loud even at the third floor. Did not bother us that much since our kids are heavy sleepers but might bother others.

The price of food and drinks was definitely more expensive than anything we had paid anywhere else in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka

The bathroom door was broken, which made our stay quite uncomfortable, we were un able to close the door. Additionally, there was no hot water, and when we informed the staff, they seemed unsure how to address the issue. The rooms are located right inside a bar, and while the music was nice, the loud bass shook the rooms, making it very difficult to sleep. The soundproofing and acoustics were terrible. This information should be clearly stated on the website, as some nights we barely got any rest due to the noise.

I love the location this property is in easy near by restaurants & shops.

When paid as soon as i arrived,check out time it's not clear to staffs i have already paid if its mentioned paid in book they have would be better so this could have been avoided!

The location is great, right in the middle of galle fort. Very close to the beach and lighthouse. The staff is kind. The room was clean, so was the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is just toast, butter jam and some fried eggs with juice and tea/coffee which was ok.

The room is very small which is expected in a location like this...so it's ok to stay only for a night/two. The room doesn't have any hooks/hangers to place your clothes. No luggage rack nothing. There isn't a bedside table/rack which is very inconvenient. The handle of the bathroom door (which was a sliding door) was broken on the inside which meant the person on the outside had to open and close it.

The staff is helpful. location is good. The dining area is having a nice vibe.

Smell in the bathroom. There was a pair of underwater on the chair in the balcony.

The staff here are friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The place has a great vibe, and the food is absolutely delicious.

The rooms were great, Even though we had a small issue at first they solved it and the stay was awesome as the rooms were as spacious as we needed. Also, the location is quite convenient as it is located inside the fort and for this price it is quite invaluable. Breakfast was light and was good. But the juices were amazing.

Nothing tat I did not like if I'm being honest. We had everthing we needed so Nothing to say bad about the place.

Clean and comfortable room in a good location.

Had money stolen from my room while down stairs eating breakfast. When I realized I returned to the property (where storing luggage) to get staff to check/assist. Manager working then got cctv footage and showed me that a staff member (young short man with dark facial hair) went to my room while eating breakfast. He then told me that I asked him to ‘fix the door’ (which I did not). It became clear that this staff member had entered the room and taken cash from my belongings with a second key. As the hotel where denying this (despite cctv footage) I went to the tourist police to report the incident. The tourist police were mainly unhelpful but did ‘open the case’ and go back to the hotel to search and view cctv footage - which showed a staff member entering the room while we ate breakfast. The manager continued to say the staff was fixing the door, then offered me - with the police the sum of the money stolen to ‘shut the case’ which I refused as it did not seem reasonable to have a staff member continue to work while likely stealing from guests. The police then took me the search a room (the hotel room next time to mine) which it turned out that staff member was staying - their possessions were thrown around the hotel room which made it appear that they could be likely homeless or facing some kind of adversity. Prior to leaving back with the tourist police the ‘boss’ attended and the police assured me they would follow up and email me my report. Which has not happened yet - so following up via my consulate re some kind of corruption. Be careful in Galle Fort if you’re a tourist!! Scams/potentially organised crime occurring compared to my visit in the area in early 2020.

Great location. Near everything inside the Fort/old town.

The staff approached me to check the time i was going to my room after dinner, because they close the restaurante below at 22:30. When i pay for a hotel, anywhere in the world, i expect to go in/out at any time without any imposicions. Small Room My balcony was connected to another room, which had easy acess to my room. Unsafe and no privacy.

Air Condition is not working!!

The bathrooms were choked and not clean. I am pure vegetarian person and when I got my breakfast, received only bread and butter. They did not had any other option . I even requested the same one day before ,but they dud not arranged anything .

The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly.

They really need to clean under the bed. Cobwebs all over the windows and room. Windows were dusty. Airconditioner was not functioning properly. TV was not working at all. No carpets or dustbin.

The staff was rude and not supportive. The „manager“ didn’t want us to show the room before we book. He said we don’t need to see the room and he acted like a bully and sort of power play until I walked away. Then suddenly some other staff said we can see the room. The room was ok. Good value for the price. One morning at breakfast one staff spilled three fruit juices over us while serving. He apologized but did not offer any compensation. The body, trouser and shirt of my 17 year old daughter was soaked in sticky juice and my shoes and legs too. I would have expected a compensation that they invite us for some drinks or a free dinner for my daughter. But nothing. I guess the poor soul was really embarrassed and as he was serving the whole hotel and breakfast alone (barely spoke English) in the morning he was not in the position to offer something. Clearly bad management! A particular thing about this property is that it’s more a restaurant than a hotel. They don’t have a lobby or a real entrance. When I went out at 6am for sunrise there is nobody and the restaurant doors are closed. I had to unlock it from inside myself before I could get out. Life Music from their own restaurant plays somehow loud until way after 9pm. Can be clearly heard in the third floor.

The water pressure was low. Only one blanket was provided for 2 people.

Infrastructure was as expected. Value for money, do not expect luxury at this price..Breakfast was fairly good.

Cost of food is overrated. Staff said they do not sell tea or coffee in the afternoon when we asked, they asked us to go to Barista if we want coffee, which was odd for a cafe. Also, they said no Rice dishes available for dinner, only sea food platters which the price was overrated in my opinion. So, we had to walk 1/2 mile to find a suitable restaurant at night. However, I saw they served rice for some of their friends having drinks the restaurant later.

Right in center of fort area and close to shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance from train station.

Room was very small and ac noisy. Breakfast was okay nothing special. No lockbox.

The restaurant below is a very happening place to be, great spot for dinner, right in the middle of the action in Galle. Airconditioning very effective in the rooms which are simple but fine for one night stay.

The kitchen can be a bit noisy if you are staying in the room above however this calms down after the restaurant is closed.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was also very nice even though it was slightly expensive.

I hope the room was in better shape. AC was dripping. TV not working. But the location is good.
