Had a wonderful stay. Louise was very welcoming and attentive and the home has all the necessary amenities and stunning garden and mountain views.

Beautiful house, great location and lovely host

Lovely house very spacious. Quiet area of town with stunning scenery. The wild garden was particularly pretty. Garaged parking was useful. No TV but did have a separate braai area room, which was great to sit in in the evening. Ate out at the Blue Vines District restaurant, very good food and an up market feel. Also had lunch at Christina's Bistro at a vineyard near Ashton, which is set in a beautiful garden full of trees.

Be warned that over a weekend inc Mon and Tues, you are hard pressed to find eating establishments open. We did have to do some planning to find a place for each day.

It's in a beautiful location, with mountains wrapped around it. It's a beautiful home and is very comfortable.

Missed aircon and a TV ( which I should have looked for)

Location location location! Once you step into the courtyard with its beautiful wooden door, you are met with the magic that is Sage. The views of the Langeberg mountains are breathtaking and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The wild garden is very special. The house itself is modern and was designed for entertaining. I came to escape the busyness of city life, and I did not want to leave the space... not that one needs to! Louise is an attentive host and will make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. As a regular visitor to these parts, I have found a new favourite spot. Highly recommended!

We liked the flow of the home, the finishes and the exceptional quality of the linen. The private garden with a plunge pool was wonderful for soaking up the sun and getting a bit of a tan.

A Smart TV with DSTV would round off this home, but is not critical as with the excellent wifi I was able to watch the sport on my iPad.

The property is an absolute delight. Everything is pristine and elegant, and our stay was extremely comfortable. The surroundings are peaceful, and the rooms have amazing views of the mountains. Every need you might have is taken care of. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a special "home away from home".

We had a lovely family reunion weekend in Montagu and enjoyed staying at SAGE as it was "home away from home"! Definitely coming back in summer so that we can enjoy the pool and outside showers. Loved it all!

What a beautiful, peaceful and welcoming place!! If you are looking for comfort, quietness and style, this is the place…..photos don’t do justice to this gem. The host is kind and so helpful, sent us many “to-do” info of the area. Cannot rate “Sage” enough!!

Thank you very much Louise. After the warm welcome, you left your house for us. Everything we could wish for was there, not just luxuries like a swimming pool and a power storage system, so we couldn't even care less about load shading stage 6. The kitchen was also fully equipped and for the Braii there was not only wood and briekkts but also kindling and an axe. And so we could go on and on...... And everything is framed by the big mountains, within a pleasant walking distance from the nice town center of Monagu. Thank you Louise for letting us use your home. We will come back.
